The Jackals Judgement

It seemed like any other day for Lara, delving into the depths of the ancient world to discover relics from civilizations long since passed. This day would be one that would alter the course of her life and change her destiny, as this was a tomb under the watchful protection of the Egyptian God Anubis, who knew of who Lara was and the many transgressions she had committed against the graves of the deceased, though to kill one of such talent would simply be a waste, so when she stepped down into his domain he stuck her with a curse, one that would ensure that for the rest of her mortal life she would serve him, becoming his instrument that would bring retribution upon all that would desecrate the sacred resting place of the dead.
