Drones

Brainic has failed again and again. And this for a superior intellect is unacceptable. He has always seen Superman as the only worthy opponent of Earth and the only one who poses a real treat to his plans, disregarding any other meta human on Earth as unworthy of his time. But now after running millions of simulations, he found out that in these lesser organism might reside the key to defeating Superman. taking over their inferior minds and turning them into his drones, he can overwhelm the Kryptonian, with the added bonus that he'll never go full power on them if he had a glimpse of hope that he could save them. Now, with this knowledge, it's time to take Superman down once and for all.


Commentary:

This was one of those weird cases where I had a visual idea of what I wanted to do, but no theme or characters, and this inverted process proved to be challenging. At some point I thought about using Supergirl, but once I decided Brainiac was going to be the corruption theme, Kara got discarded since not so long ago I did just that. Brainiac corrupting Supergirl. Then it all came to look for another apace related or alien character be the protagonist. And after several options, I decide to use Starfire.  character that I haven't use that much.
