<strong>My husband will want to go with us</strong>...I've watched you and your partners

Sex for me used to be a pretty regular thing, but for the three months prior to my dating a woman named Angela, plus the six weeks she and I dated, it was non-existent and my balls were turning blue.

I needed pussy; pink, wet pussy.

A trip to my favorite bar yielded some prospects, but none that tripped my trigger. My brother was the bartender and knew all the women and their availability. Some were married and looking, some were single and looking, some were there for the free drinks they could get from guys who were happy with dancing and rubbing their bodies against the softness of the female form. Still others were there just to have a good time. There was even a couple he pointed out who were looking for a man for the wife to fuck so the husband could watch. My brother said they came in about once a month and always found a man who would go with them.

Being watched by the husband while fucking the wife was never on my list of things to do, and fucking any wife that wasn't mine was also a no-no.

So that evening I sat at the bar, had a couple of free drinks compliments of my brother, the bartender, who usually let me have a couple of drinks free whenever I stopped by.

I had decided to leave when I sensed someone next to me. I turned and my brother, Rich, short for Richard, put one of those little paper napkins on the bar in front of her.

"Good evening. You're new here." It was a statement, not a question, from Rich.

"Yes, I am. How did you know?" The woman asked.

"I've been here long enough to know almost everyone who comes in here regularly. The first drink is on the house. What may I make for you, and please don't say, 'just a beer'. Challenge me."

She laughed. It was a nice laugh. "Okay, how about a whiskey sour. Some people find those not so easy to make correctly."

Rich laughed. "Nice try, m'lady, but you're looking at the king of whiskey sours. They are my specialty."

He moved down the bar to mix her whiskey sour. I spoke to her. "His whiskey sours suck." I told her. "The best he can do as a bartender is either open a bottle of beer or mix a rum and coke. He is terrible at anything else."

She laughed again. "I don't know. He seemed pretty sure of himself."

"So did Dr. Frankenstein and we know how that turned out."

She laughed harder. "I take it you're not a fan of his."

"Good God, no. He's an even worse brother than he is a bartender."

"Ah, now I get. Brotherly jealously. He can, but you can't, so you're jealous."

"Ha! Jealous of ole butterfingers over there? Not a chance."

Rich brought her drink and set it in front of her. "Tell me what you think of that," he said.

She picked it up, smelled it like you would the first glass of wine out of the bottle, sipped it, put the glass on the bar, looked at me, then him. "Very nice." She said. "From what your brother said, I expected something akin to kerosene."

"My brother?" he asked. "The guy who only knows whether he's coming or going is to look at the color of... never mind. That joke was in bad taste and I apologize."

She couldn't stop laughing and finished his joke "Is to look at the color of what's coming out of his penis. If it's yellow he knows he's going."

We all three laughed. "I think maybe you've found yourself a home, Miss or Mrs...?"

"Miss. Jaelyn. Jaelyn Franks, but my friends call me Jae. And your name is Rich. I see it on your nametag. Rich, I take it is short for Richard?"

"It is, indeed. And this," he said pointing at me, "is my younger brother, Sam, which is short for asshole."

The three of us laughed again. Rich was cut short because two servers needed him to fill their drink orders, so he went to the other end of the bar. I started talking to Jae, trying to find out more about her, but she kept coming back with questions about Rich. After her third or fourth question about him, I was smart enough to figure out where her interest was and it wasn't me.

"Is he married? Or serious about someone?" she asked.

"No, he isn't married, but he is interested in someone and they're pretty serious."

"Oh." She said disappointed.

"His name is Bobby and he's the piano player."

"OH!" She said, only much bigger that time. "I never would have guessed."

"Most people don't," I told her.

Rich was back and asked if she was ready for another drink."

"No, I'm fine. I suppose I should be going."

"So soon?" he asked. "Why not stick around and chat. We're not too busy, and I have some free time."

"Won't Bobby get upset?" she asked.

"Why would he care?"

"Well, I just thought that since the two of you were... together... as it were, that he might have a problem with you talking to me."

"Together? Bobby and me?" His eyes were huge and he looked at me laughing my ass off. "See," he said to her. "That's why we call him asshole." He threw his bar towel at me.

I knew I didn't have a chance, so I figured it was time for me to leave the two of them together.

Two women were leaving at the same time as me. Our cars were in the same general direction so we walked that way together. We got to their car first and discovered all four tires were flat.

The shorter of the two started cussing as she took out her phone. "I'm going to kill that motherfucker. I'll cut off his dick and shove it up his ass."

I looked at her companion. "I assume she thinks this is no accident."

"No, she doesn't. It's probably her soon to be ex-husband because we think he's done it before."

"Why?"

"He thinks she's out cheating. She caught him cheating and now he thinks she's going out, finding men and getting even."

"Is she?"

"Oh, god, no. She's never cheated on him. Even during the separation."

"But if he's her soon to be ex, why does he care?"

"God only, knows. It's a control thing, I guess."

I offered to drive them home, but they declined. The taller one, the one I was talking with, whose name was Chloe, told me they would wait for the police. Sure enough, just a couple of minutes later, a police cruiser pulled in. The officer got out.

"Did the camera work?" he asked.

"We haven't looked," said the driver;

"What camera?" I asked Chloe.

"After the last time it happened, Jimmy, her brother, that's the police officer there, put a camera in her car. Whoever did it should be on camera."

He opened the trunk of the car, turned on the monitor and even in the dim light, we could make out a man Chloe identified as the husband, stooping down first by her right front fender, then by the left.

"That's all we need," said the officer. "We can arrest him now." He took a portable air tank out of his sister's car and some valve stems, and went to work on the tires. It wasn't long before the tires were aired up and the girls were ready to go. They were obviously prepared for something like that to happen... again.

While Jimmy and his sister, whose name was Anita, were chatting, Chloe and I were doing the same thing, and we ended up exchanging phone numbers.

I called her the next day and we talked for a long time. The same thing the day after that. On the third day, I asked her to have dinner with me. She accepted.

It was a nice evening. The dinner was good and the company better. That evening started a month of dates. Dinners and evenings at my brother's bar where she basically taught me to dance, because that's what she did for a living. She was a professional dancer, but never made it to Broadway. She did one show off Broadway and three years on cruise ships.

"I'm not good enough for Broadway," she told me more than once.

She had her own dance studio, and seemed to be doing pretty well. In addition to the studio, she choreographed the dance numbers in musicals at the local university and community theatre.

On the dance floor, I was two left feet the first few times we danced, and I was almost too embarrassed to keep working at it. My brother, Rich, and his now girlfriend, Jae, would sit at the bar and laugh at my efforts. Their laughter made me work all the harder and Chloe's calm, patient demeanor gave me confidence. We worked hard on my dancing at her apartment, my apartment, her studio and Rich's bar, and when we weren't dancing, we were in bed. Sex with Chloe was great, but then sex with any woman was great and I never tired of it.

It took months, but one evening, I felt confident that I could really dance. Chloe and I danced and when Bobby finished playing the song, everybody, including Rich, Jae and Bobby stood and applauded. Chloe was accustomed to applause for her dancing, but it was a first for me. Chloe rewarded me later at her place for my success.

I found that I really enjoyed dancing and worked hard to get even better.

It was during the week of my dancing debut success, that Anita's husband pleaded guilty to deflating her tires. He was sentenced to thirty days in jail and issued a restraining order to stay away from his wife, their house, her place of business and her car.

The Saturday after he went to jail, Chloe invited me to her apartment for dinner and sex, not necessarily in that order. The only thing she was wearing when she opened the door was an apron, the bib top of which never covered her nipples and I got an instant woodie when I saw it... or rather them; her nipples that is.

It obviously didn't take her long to undress, and if it had been up to me, I would have "dropped trou" and fucked her right there, I was so desperate, but she made me slow down and do it the right way, and she was right. It was much better that way.

In fact it was so good, that we did it again. We ended up having cold meat loaf sandwiches at two in the morning instead of meat loaf and mashed potatoes at 6:30 in the evening, but that suited both of us just fine.

Our lives were almost perfect for three more months, then her dance students just dried up. She was unable to fill her classes, so just to stay busy, she worked even more with me. It was that way for six more months and she couldn't hang on any longer, so she closed her doors and went back to dancing on a cruise ship. She had been gone for a couple of months and I decided to surprise her and take a short weekend cruise on her ship.

I got my passport, ticket, and everything else I thought I needed and flew to Miami. I had never cruised before so had no idea what to expect. I made it on board, found my cabin, left a message at the desk for her to contact me, and toured the ship.

I had been on board for an hour or so and the ship was still an hour from sailing when my phone rang. It was Chloe and she was surprised that I was on board. She told me that she wished I had checked with her before buying a ticket because she and another of the entertainers had become quite close and she wouldn't be able to spend any time with me, but she was sure I would enjoy the cruise anyway.

In the hallways, luggage was sitting outside most of the staterooms waiting for their owners to take them in and unpack. Mine was one of those. I went into my stateroom, retrieved my carryon, left the room, grabbed my suitcase from the hallway, and left the ship. I hadn't gone there to cruise; I went to fuck Chloe, but she made it quite clear that she was no longer available.

At my brother's bar the next evening, Jae and I danced to the delight of the rest of the customers. We looked like we had danced together all of our lives. Rich smiled when we reclaimed our stools at the bar.

"That really looks like fun," he said. "Would you like me to take lessons?" he asked Jae.

"Of course I would." She answered grabbing his hand and holding it.

The three of us were talking about dancing when we were interrupted.

"Excuse me." A woman's voice said.

"Yes, ma'am," said my brother, "what may I get you?"

"Nothing, thank you." She turned to Jae. "May I dance with your partner?"

Jae smiled. "He isn't mine, but I'd bet he'd love to."

"I certainly would," I interjected.

We made our way to the dance floor. Bobby played two perfect numbers for dancing close and Barbara, that was her name, and I, danced to both of them.

She was at a table with three other women and when I finally took her to them, they all applauded and two of them asked if they could be next. I danced with both of them and Barbara for the rest of the evening. When it came time for them to leave, Barbara asked if she could give me her number.

"Of course, and may I give you mine?"

"Absolutely," she said smiling.

She and I met at the bar three times over the next two weeks and danced. We were sitting at a table with a couple of her friends one evening, when she asked me if I had ever been to the Majestic Hotel. Visions of an evening of debauchery ran through my mind when she asked that.

"No, why do you ask?" I asked with a huge grin on my face.

She slapped my arm. "Not for that, so get your mind out of the gutter. They have a big band there one weekend a month and next weekend is it. It's a weekend that's all about dancing and some really good dancers are there. Would you like to go?"

"Sounds like fun, but I can't Rumba, Samba or Jitterbug."

"That's okay. You can learn as we go." I was almost ready to say yes, when she spoke again. "There's just one thing." She paused. "My husband will want to go with us."

I lifted her left hand and pointed to her ringless finger. "I'm sorry, but did I miss the part of the conversation where you told me you were married but didn't bother wearing a ring?"

"No, because we haven't had that conversation until now. I wanted to dance with you, so I took it off." She reached for her purse, took them out and put them on. "I can wear them again. Look Sam, I'm happily married. Bob, my husband, and I used to dance every weekend until his legs were crushed in an automobile accident a year ago. He's confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. When you and I first danced, I went home and told him. He knows how much I enjoy it and he knew each time you and I met and danced. I would never have done it without his permission." My face showed more than a little skepticism. "You seem to enjoy dancing, and I certainly do and I thought it would be fun. He and I are going. Just think about it."

All that week, I thought about the couple in Rich's bar he told me about. They came in his bar to find a man for the wife to fuck so the husband could watch. I wanted no part of something like that, so decided I'd pass on Barbara's invitation. That was a difficult decision, because I had started growing fond of her. Not just fond, but REALLY fond, and it hadn't taken long. I enjoyed my time with her more than any I'd ever spent with any other female, and I didn't want it to end. There were times when I felt she was feeling the same way. To use the word "magic" to describe what I thought we were both experiencing seemed trite, yet it was factual, and it wasn't just the way we danced together. It was the looks, the touches, the intimate, yet delicate way our hands touched. It was Magic and, as I said before, it hadn't taken long.

But she was married. Fuck. My loss.

Jae, Rich and I were sitting around his kitchen table the day before the weekend at the Majestic. He had taken a few dance lessons and had danced with Jae a few times, but wanted to spend a whole evening with her, but she had a day job and he worked nights so she spent a lot of time in the evenings at the bar just to be with him. He had two evenings a week off, but they were weekdays. Working nights certainly put a damper on weekend evening dates, but he had taken the next evening off. It was to be his first Friday off in months and both of them were looking forward to it.

I told them about the Majestic and Barbara's invitation. They decided to go just to be able to spend the evening dancing at someplace other than his bar. Everybody dressed up and Jae was certainly looking forward to that part, and they both encouraged me to go with them.

The next evening found me in a suit sitting with Rich and Jae. I kept looking around to see if I could spot Barbara. It was a big room and I discovered we were on one side and she was on the other. I only saw her because she was dancing. Her first partner was a tall, handsome, graceful man who moved her around the floor with a flair that I could only hope for. She was dressed in a beautiful, long gown and looked like a million dollars. They moved beautifully together. Any intention I had of asking her to dance went out the window when I saw her move with him. He spun her around and her hair was thrown back and she had a smile you could see across the room.

I sat at our table and watched Rich and Jae dance three times and Barbara as well, and never with the same partner, all of them better than me. I decided it was time for me to leave. I couldn't sit and atch her anymore. Just as I stood, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and it was Barbara.

"You decided to come," she said.

"I did. I came with my brother and his girlfriend."

"I haven't seen you dance."

"And you won't."

"Why?"

"I've watched you and your partners and it's like poetry in motion as you glide with those guys. I can't compete with them. I'd be too klutzy and you would never look as good with me as you do with any of them."

I heard a voice behind me. "You're missing the point, Sam." I turned and a man in a wheel chair was there. "Maybe they look good, but she has to enjoy being with them. Quite frankly, she prefers dancing with you. She feels more at ease with you and as a result, she tells me she dances better."

"You must be Bob," I said and stuck out my hand for him to shake.

"I am."

I laughed. "I find it hard to believe that she could look any better than what I've seen tonight."

They both laughed. "You should have seen the two of us," he said. "We were always the best on the floor." He looked at me. "Give it a whirl. One time, and if you don't think she looks and dances as well with you as she did with them, then go in peace. The thing you have to remember is her comfort zone. The more comfortable she is, the better she dances and the better she dances, the better she looks."

How could I say no to that? I turned to her. "Would you like to dance?"

She smiled. "I would, indeed."

And we danced. And we danced again. She felt light as a feather and I don't think her feet ever touched the floor. I took her back to her table and Bob was applauding. "Bravo. Bravo. That's the way she is supposed to dance."

She leaned down and kissed him. "Thank you, sweetie. It felt like old times."

She didn't dance with anyone but me the rest of the evening, and I was in heaven as she floated in my arms either with her head back and her hair flowing in the wind, or close to me with her head on my shoulder. Being with her made me happy.

I walked them to their van and watched as they got him in and stowed his wheelchair. I wanted to help, but they had their own practiced system so I stood and watched. When he was in his seat and his wheelchair was stowed, I walked her around to the driver's side. I opened the door for her and she leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. "You're a better dancer than you think, Sam. I'll dance with you anyplace, anytime."

"She's right, you know," said Bob. "Let's do it again tomorrow night."

"I'm in," I told them.

"Good," Bob said. "Meet us at our house at seven and you can go with us." He gave me a calling card with his name printed on it and their handwritten address. "Then maybe we can have a nightcap after."

Some of the men I saw the first night wore tuxes, so I spent part of the next day renting one. It took a while because I was particular about how it fit. It needed to be perfect.

I rang their bell at seven sharp and Bob opened the door. He saw me and started laughing.
<hr pg="2" />"What's so funny?" I asked.

"She was dressed a few minutes ago, and I convinced her you would be in a tux, so she went up to change into something more appropriate."

"What about you. Why aren't you dressed?" I asked him.

"I'm not going tonight. I haven't felt good all day, so I'm staying home. You take care of her and remember that she's only dancing with you. She's my wife and is coming home to me."

"Bob, there is no way I would ever forget that." But then she walked into the room, and I did forget it. She was a sex goddess wrapped in a vision of loveliness.

She spun around for his benefit and asked him how she looked. The spin was for him, but I enjoyed it as well.

"Beautiful as always. Now go. Have fun."

She leaned down and kissed him goodbye.

Outside, I suggested we take my car and she didn't object.

That evening we danced only with each other. Neither of us was embarrassed when she started teaching me The Foxtrot and the Tango, but we laughed more than I have ever laughed on any date. Everything we did seemed more intimate, and she seemed to want to be closer to me than the other times. I certainly didn't object because I wouldn't have changed it for the world.

The evening ended all too soon and we were both very quiet on the drive to her house. When we arrived, I opened her door for her, took her hand and held it as she stepped out, and walked her to the front door expecting, as Bob had said, to be invited in for a nightcap.

We stopped at the door and she looked at me. "Don't call me anymore, Sam. I can't see you again."

I was stunned. "What are you talking about?"

"I love Bob. More tonight than ever before because he gave me you for the evening, and he would continue giving you to me, but if he did, one day you and I would go too far and I would break my vows to him. I won't do that." She put one hand on my shoulder, leaned in and kissed me on the lips; soft and slow. She smiled. "It wouldn't be too much longer either, would it?"

I smiled back. "No, it wouldn't. Good bye, Barbara. Thank him for me."

"I will."

I stopped dancing that night.

I also stopped going to Rich's bar, and going out in general.

If I wasn't going to date, I needed something to do, so I looked around for a hobby. Maybe go back to school? Nah. Fishing? No thank you, and the same with hunting, golf, skydiving, training for a Marathon or any of another hundred things I could do. Nothing interested me, so I moped.

A month later, I was still moping and feeling sorry for myself and I found myself watching a TV show about a dude ranch. The more I watched, the more interested I became. I had never touched a horse, much less ridden one, but seeing a bunch of people riding piqued my curiosity.

I went online and found one in Wyoming. I'd never been to Wyoming so I decided to go. The next day at work, I made arrangements for two weeks off, so I went online and made a reservation. The site listed things their guests should bring with them.

I had everything they recommended except a pair of gloves, preferably leather, but not the bulky, work-type. I found what I thought was the perfect pair at our local do-it-yourself box store. They didn't specifically require cowboy boots, but I had a pair I had gotten for a costume party several years earlier. It was the same with the cowboy hat. I had one, but decided at the last minute not to take it.

Two weeks later, I landed in Denver, rented a car and drove to Cheyenne, Wyoming, and the ranch. It looked exactly like the website photos as I drove up the long driveway to the huge building that served as the lodge.

After checking in, I walked around the lodge and eventually made my way to the stable area. I went into the barn and there were several stalls with horses in them. There was a smell, but I didn't find it unpleasant. Most of the horses had their heads stuck out and were looking in my direction, probably thinking how easy it would be to buck me off and trample me.

I was standing there trying to decide if I wanted to go in further, when I felt a presence beside me.

"Are you Sam Livingston?"

I turned and there stood what looked like a real cowboy. He looked like all the pictures of cowboys I have ever seen, even down to the rope he was carrying. The only thing missing was a gunbelt around his waist.

"I am," I answered.

"Welcome to the Slippery K Ranch."

"Thank you. I think it's going to be fun."

"Most of our visitors like it," he said.

His name was Lenny Brewster and he started to walk through the barn with me tagging along. He stopped at the second stall on the left, took an apple out of the bucket hanging on the wall beside the door and gave it to me. "Open your hand and sit the apple in it. Put it close to his muzzle and he'll do the rest."

I did as instructed and the horse didn't waste any time snatching it out of my hand and making it disappear.

"That's Natchez. He's one of our best. I suggest you stake your claim to him before anyone else does."

There was a blackboard on the wall so, as instructed, I wrote my name and the dates I was going to be there. Then I reached and touched Natchez. He just stood there and tolerated it.

I walked around with Lenny for the next half hour and listened and watched. He was obviously very comfortable around the horses and that made me relax a little.

Dinner that first night was outside by a chuckwagon and consisted of steak, potatoes and cornbread. The drink was iced tea. There were seven other "dudes" beside me. We were joined by those on the ranch staff who would be with us for our time there.

The next day, we were all introduced to our horses. We watched as the ranch hands saddled them, then they were lined up along a long ramp about three feet high. We were told to climb the steps of the ramp, and walk to where our horses waited for us. There was lots of excitement as we followed instructions. I was nervous as I sat on Natchez. I had just sat in the saddle when he shivered and scared the shit out of me.

We spent that morning getting on and getting off the horses and riding around a ring. After lunch, some of us helped bale hay while others sat around taking it easy.

By the third day some of us were saddling our own horses, under supervision of course. The fourth day was a trail ride that lasted all day. Our asses were sore by the time we got back to the barn.

By the sixth day, I was ready to go home. On the seventh day, I did.

Dude ranching was not my "thing" and I was happy to say good bye to Natchez and the ranch.

When I got home, I still had a week of vacation and nothing to spend it doing.

Chloe was back in town after hurting her knee on her ship and couldn't dance. She had taken a month off to recover, called and wanted to see me. I needed some pussy, but hers no longer interested me, so I told her no.

Rich had managed to change shifts at the bar and was now working days. That gave him and Jae more time together and it was obvious they were serious about each other. I was happy for them.

I went back to work early because I was bored, and was inactive socially for the next two months.

My phone rang one day and it was Bob, Barbara's husband.

"Hello, Bob. What's up?"

"I was just wondering what you were up to."

I laughed and told him about my trip to the dude ranch and my boredom both there and since .

"Have you danced at all?" he asked.

"Not since the last time Barbara and I danced."

"Neither has she. What happened to you two?"

What could I tell him? That his wife and I determined that if she and I danced together any more that we would wind up having sex? There was no way I could tell him that; so I lied.

"For my part, I just lost interest in it."

"Barbara told me the same thing, but I don't believe her. You can't all of a sudden lose interest in something that has meant so much to you for most of your life." He paused. "Did you do or say anything to her that was in any way... shall we say... ungentlemanly? Did you try anything with her?"

"Bob, I give you my word, all we did was dance and talk. I did nothing that wouldn't pass 'the husband test'."

"I believe you, but she has been moping around here and I don't know what to do."

"Is she having troubles at work?" I asked.

"I don't think so. She seems to still enjoy going to the office. It's the evenings and weekends that are the problem."

"I don't have an answer, Bob. Maybe if you insisted the two of you go back to the Majestic, she would dance again."

"I've tried, but she won't go." There was another pause. "So you decided that going to a dude ranch was better than dancing?" he asked with a chuckle.

I smiled. "Just trying new and different things. The ranch was not one of the better things I could have chosen."

"Maybe you should go back to dancing."

"I'll think about it."

A couple more minutes of chat and we ended the call.

The following weekend I made my way to the Majestic. I had been there less than five minutes and was asked to dance twice. I said no both times. The third time was by the same lady who asked me the first time.

"I'm back," she said. "If you won't dance, why don't you join my friends and me at our table so at least you're not alone? I promise we won't bite and you might even have a few laughs."

She took my hand and pulled me. I grabbed my drink and was led to her table. A man and two women were there and introductions were made. My kidnapper was Judy. As soon as I was introduced to the others, I forgot their names. At the end of the song that was playing, we were joined by a couple. I don't remember their names either.

The next song sent the two couples at our table back to the dance floor. Judy asked me again to dance and, again, I turned her down.

Some man asked the other lady at our table to dance and she did.

"I don't get it," said Judy. "I've seen you out there and you are good, plus, you seemed to always enjoy yourself. What happened?"

"Nothing. I just stopped."

"Nothing my ass. It was your partner. What happened did she break up with you?"

"It wasn't like that. She's married and he can't dance. We were just dancing partners, that's all."

"That's bull crap," Judy said. "Two people can't dance the way you did and not have anything between them. Did the husband find out?"

"He knew. He was there some of the time. He can't dance because he's ..."

We both said "in a wheelchair" together.

You could see the comprehension in her face. "I remember him," she said. "I felt sorry for him." she paused. "Now I get it! You and she had a thing for each other and it ended badly. Am I right?"

"No, you're not."

"Well, it's interesting because she hasn't been back either; at least not when I've been here."

"How often do you come?" I asked.

"Whenever they have a live band. This same group comes."

"Two men and four women. Sounds interesting." I said.

"It's not like that."

"It's not like that for you, but it is for me? That isn't fair. If you can think what you think, then so can I. Which of the guys do you have a thing for?"

"I told you it isn't like that." She said a little testily.

I wouldn't stop. "How did you put it to me? Ah, yes. 'That's bull crap'. I'd be willing to bet there is some kind of hanky panky going on."

"I think it's time for you to go back to the bar, Mr. Know it all." She said as she picked up her drink and gulped it.

"Oh. So you can dish it out, but not take it. Is that it?"

She looked around before speaking. "It's not that. We're all friends and we don't need rumors to start, so when they come back, just don't say anything."

"When they come back? You just told me to leave."

The band started a new number. Judy stood and held out her hand. "You came back because you wanted to dance. You couldn't resist it anymore, so dance with me."

I took her hand and she led me to the floor. I was rusty, but still did okay. She was nowhere as good as Barbara, but it was nice feeling a soft body against me again. About halfway through the dance she spoke.

"It's the bald one. Jamie. He's the one that trips my trigger. I've known him and Louise for most of my life and have had a thing for him forever, but he chose her. Neither of them know, of course, and I'll never tell, but..."

"Are you married?" I asked.

"I was, but we fell out of love. We're still friends and have dinner, and more, once in awhile."

"Sounds civilized."

"It is more or less."

We talked a bit more and danced through the next number. We met the next night and danced again, only those dances were different. I held her tighter and crushed her breasts to mine and she didn't seem to mind. In fact, she moved her upper body back and forth so I could feel breasts moving and I got hard. She didn't object to that either because she moved her body even closer if that were possible.

We found ourselves making out like teenagers in my car just a few minutes later, and in her bed less than an hour after that. She called me Jamie three times during the course of our sex session.

Our sex life ran its course after that for about a month. Even our dancing frequency changed. It seemed she was always dancing with someone else, and that was okay with me.

I would be okay for awhile. I'd had some pussy and my balls wouldn't turn blue.

Rich and Jae were engaged by then, and he asked me to be his best man. At their reception, they turned everybody's head with their first dance. They had been taking lessons on ballroom dancing and were very good.

Their reception was in the afternoon and that evening, after everything was over and they were on their way to Vienna, and I was on my way home, my phone rang. I looked and it was Barbara.

"Hi," I answered brightly.

"Hello, Sam. Could you come to my house, please?"

"Now?"

"Yes, please."

"Is everything okay?"

"Just come. Please."

Fifteen minutes later, I started to ring her doorbell, but she opened it before I could, and fell into my arms, crying."

"Bob's in the hospital."

"Why? What's wrong with him?"

"He tried to commit suicide."

"Oh my God. Why?" I had led her to the sofa and sat her down. She was finally able to settle down, stop crying and explain.

"He thinks that if he weren't around, you and I would get together and I would dance again. That's what he wants. He wants me to dance and enjoy life, but feels that I can't as long as he's alive."

"That's crazy." I said.

She looked at me. "Is it?" she asked. I looked back at her and didn't answer. "You and I both know he's right, but what do we do? I don't want him to die. I love him."

"You've obviously told him that."

"Over and over, and he knows it, but he loves me and wants me to be happy." She paused. "And I am... aside from the lack of sex of course."

"What can I do to help?" I asked.

"I don't know. I just wanted you near me."

I wrapped her in my arms and held her. She cried some more. "I'll be okay, now," she said. "I have to get ready and go to the hospital to see him."

"Should I leave?"

"No. Please. Wait for me."

It took her a long time but it was worth the wait. She wore a regular dress, but she made it beautiful and vice versa. She smiled coming down the hall. "Would you do me a favor?" she asked.

"Of course."

"Dance with me."

I smiled. She turned on some music and floated into my arms. The number lasted about three minutes, but it seemed like three seconds and I hated to let her go, so I didn't. We stayed together and another song began. I started to move her around the room, but she stopped me.

"I have to go." She said, as she stepped away from me. She left me standing in the middle of her livingroom as she went to the garage. I walked to the front window and watched her disappear down the street before I pushed the off button on the sound system, turned out the lights and tripped the lock on her front door as I left.

I tried calling her the next day, but my call went right to voicemail. I never tried again and she never called me.

For the next year I buried myself in my job. The company expanded overseas and I was part of the transition team so spent almost six months in Munich, Germany, where I learned to enjoy the food and drink, mostly beer. I was too busy for any socializing other than that required by the job, and that didn't involve getting laid.

When I came home, I was an uncle. Rich and Jae had a set of identical twin girls. I had rented my house and the renters wanted to buy it, so I sold, which meant I had to buy a new one. My agent was an energetic young man who didn't seem to tire of showing me houses. I stopped at six because I couldn't look at any more. There was one with a pool, so I bought it. I thought my nieces would have fun there as they grew.

Another year passed. I had dated three women, and enjoyed each of them in the biblical sense, but there was never the spark to indicate I wanted to spend much more time with them; or them with me.

Three more months flew by. My company hired a new production coordinator. She was one smart cookie who didn't take shit off anybody. She let us know in no uncertain terms that things were going to happen her way or heads were going to roll. Within four months production increased significantly and three of her staff had been fired.

She picked up the nickname 'iron britches' because of her zero tolerance for stupidity, but her real name was Alicia Jenkins. After a long, non-productive meeting one Friday afternoon, she and I were the last two to leave the conference room. As we were leaving, she spoke.

"This meeting sucked. Why don't you and I get something to eat and an adult beverage or two?"

"Sounds good to me," I answered.

Later that evening, after dinner and drinks we found ourselves at her house in the classic 69 position. A bit later, the missionary position, followed by the reverse cowgirl position and doggie. The positions varied considerably over the weekend. I went home Sunday afternoon a very tired, but happy man.

Alicia and I continued a fuck buddy relationship for another year before she met an executive from another company and fell in love.

Rich and Jae borrowed money and bought the bar where he had worked for years. He was back to working occasional nights so I started spending my Friday evenings there and paying for my drinks for a change.

I was chatting with Rich one evening and Bobby was playing on the piano when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and it was Barbara. I hadn't seen her in close to four years, and she looked like those years had not been kind to her.

"Hello, stranger. Care to dance?" she asked. I was caught completely by surprise and just sat there staring at her. "Well?"

"The last time I danced was with you in your livingroom," I told her.

She smiled. "Me too."

I smiled, stood, took her hand and led her to the dance floor. Nothing had changed. We danced like we had been dancing together uninterrupted all that time and not one word was spoken. We danced to three straight numbers without speaking, but I held her as close as I could while still allowing her to breathe.

After the third dance, we moved to the bar and sat. A man sat beside her, but Rich asked him to move down the bar to give us some privacy; not that there was much privacy to be had there.

"How are you?" I asked.

"Getting better. I've wanted to contact you for months, but was afraid."

"Afraid? Why?"

"I'm not sure. Probably because I thought you would be married, or had forgotten me." She paused. "Are you married?"

I shook my head. "No. Not married."

"In a relationship?"

"No." It was my turn to pause. "How's Bob?"

She looked at me and the tears were there. "He died six months ago." I stood, stepped to her and held her as she sobbed. "I miss him so much."

<hr pg="3" />"Come with me," I told her and led her to my car, we got in and I drove to my house. Inside, I sat her on the sofa and got her a glass of water. We sat with our own thoughts for several minutes before I spoke. "Are you okay?"

"I think so."

"What happened?"

"Do you remember he tried to commit suicide?"

"Yes."

"He had counseling and got over that and we were happy for a while, but as time went by he just got tired of living. Natural causes, they said, but I think he died because he thought I wasn't happy." She moved closer to me and cried some more. "I thought all the tears were gone, but whenever I think of him..."

"It's okay. Find all there are and let them come." She did. Afterward, she went to the bathroom to freshen up. While she was there, Rich called.

"Is everything okay?" he asked.

"It will be. Can you pick me up when you get off? I need to come back to the bar and get her car."

"Jae can come over now. Will that work?"

"Yes, it will."

"She'll be right over."

Barbara came out with new makeup and I asked her for her keys and what kind of car she had. She still had the van from years ago. I told her to rest and I would fetch it. She reached in her purse and handed me her keys. Jae arrived and took me back to the bar. When I got home, Barbara was asleep on the sofa. I sat in my favorite chair and watched her sleep until I fell asleep.

She was still asleep when I awoke the next morning; in fact she was still asleep at noon. I had fixed breakfast in case she was hungry when she woke up, but I ate by myself.

She finally stirred mid-afternoon. She opened her eyes, looked around, saw me, smiled, then realized mother nature was calling, jumped up and went to the bathroom. When she was finished she came out and she talked and I listened until dinner time when I called and had Chinese delivered.

It was dark and she wanted to go home. I suggested she get some things and come back so she wouldn't be alone. She thought about it for a couple of minutes and asked me to go with her. She took a shower and changed clothes at her house before packing an overnight case. We were back at my house within a couple of hours, and I led her to my guest room.

It wasn't long before she went to bed and slept until noon the next day which was Sunday. Monday morning we had breakfast and went our separate ways to work. That evening she fixed dinner and we spent the evening relaxing; something she said she hadn't done since before Bob died.

She made two trips home to get more clothes during the next two weeks, but otherwise the only place she went was to work. On Friday morning of her third week with me, she asked if we could go to the Majestic that evening. I, of course, said yes.

It was the first time she laughed and it wasn't forced. She was able to relax and enjoy herself, as did I. We rarely sat down, preferring to dance: her, I think, for the emotional release it gave her and me because while we were dancing, I had the privilege of holding her.

At home that night we had a nightcap, talked and laughed. When the time came for her to go to bed, she came over to me, took my hands, pulled and I stood. She wrapped my hands around her waist, put her arms around my neck, and we kissed. When the kiss was over she smiled, said good night, walked away and I knew I loved her. Actually, I knew I loved her the only other time she kissed me. I just never admitted it and I never let another woman get close enough for me to love because down deep I was saving it for Barbara.

I went to sleep a happy man that night.

The next day was Saturday and I asked her if she wanted to go dancing that night.

"Could we have dinner out as well?" she asked.

I spent the morning renting a tux.

We have some very nice restaurants in town and I chose what I thought was the best. She dressed in a long gown and was lovely.

Dinner was the best I'd had in a very long time. When we walked into the Majestic Ballroom, it felt like all eyes were on us. We danced for hours and never tired. She held my hand on the trip home.

At home, I pulled into the garage and we got out of the car. She took my hand again as we went into the kitchen from the garage and she led me down the hall to my bedroom. When we got inside, she took both of my hands and, looking in my eyes, spoke.

"I love you and it's time." She leaned in, kissed me and pushed her tongue into my mouth for the first time, and my knees almost buckled. She kept kissing me as she reached up with her hands and pushed my tux jacket off my shoulders. We broke the kiss and she leaned back which pushed her lower body into my lower body as the jacket fell to the floor.

She pulled one side of my bowtie and it came untied. She had a bit of trouble with the small shirt studs because her fingernails were just a bit long, so I took over that chore, but she kept her hands on mine as if she were doing it. Soon the shirt was on the floor with the jacket. I didn't have a tee shirt, so she leaned in and kissed my nipples and sucked on them all the while running her hands up and down my arms and sides.

My pants came next. I was enjoying her lips on my chest but reached for my trousers waistband and her hands met mine there. She leaned back to see how the fastener at the waistband functioned and she slid it open, reached, unbuttoned the button, lowered the zipper and pushed the trousers down my legs lowering herself with them, which was difficult in her dress.

She reached for my shorts and pulled them down as well. My dick, by that time was sticking straight out and she touched it before leaning into it and rubbing it up and down first her left cheek and then her right before she kissed it's head. She didn't suck it into her mouth, she kissed the head and stood.

"I've wanted to do that since the first time we kissed, I also want to suck it, but I promised myself that it would be in my pussy before it was in my mouth. Now undress me." She said as she turned around.

My left hand went to the zipper on her dress and slid it down. The sides of the dress parted as the zipper lowered, exposing the pale skin of her back. The zipper was all the way down and I reached, moved her hair aside and kissed her neck. When my lips touched her skin, she shivered and moaned.

"On, my God. I felt that all the way down to my toes." She said as she turned around to face me. Her dress still covered her breasts, so she reached for the top of the dress and slowly lowered it exposing them.

It was my turn to shiver.

"Kiss them, Sam," she said. "Kiss them. Bite them. Suck them."

I did as I was told and she pushed her dress down over her hips and to the floor. I started to turn her and push her down on my bed, but almost tripped and fell on my ass because my trousers were down around my ankles and I still had my shoes and socks on.

I sat on the bed and she knelt to untie my shoes, pull them and my socks off before I pushed the trousers off with my feet.

She crawled up over me and I felt her breasts moving up my legs, over my stomach and chest until her lips were on mine again. My feet were still on the floor as our tongues explored each other's mouths.

The kissing went on for a couple of minutes before she slid off of me and moved to lie beside me. "For the first time in a very long time and only the second man I've ever said it to, fuck me." She moaned as she spread her legs. I rolled over and got on top of her. Her hands reached for my dick and aimed it as I plunged. "Oh my God!" She said slowly and softly, moaning more than actually speaking the words. "Oh, my God, I've missed this so much. Fuck me, Sammy. Hard, please.

Nobody had ever called me Sammy. It was always Sam, but she could call me anything she wanted and if she wanted me to fuck her, hard or any other way, it was my pleasure to accommodate her, so I did; for as long as I could before we both orgasmed in pools of sweat.

We spent most of the next two days in or near my bed trying to make up for the years we lost. Actually, that isn't fair. We didn't lose them because they were not ours in the first place. She was married and very much in love with Bob, and would never cheat on him.

I came to believe she would never cheat on me, either. When she gave her love and loyalty, it was until death do you part.

That first time was 12 years ago. We've done it thousands of times since and look forward to thousands more.

The Majestic no longer has monthly big bands live, but there is a DJ every weekend who plays big band music one weekend a month, and Barbara and I go often. We have taught our son and daughter how to dance and we dance with them in our livingroom. They think it's fun when they dance together and we love watching them.

I insisted that a photo of Bob sit on a shelf in our livingroom. I want him to look down and see that Barbara is having the life he wanted her to have.
