<em>Hi Folks. Thank you for checking out this story.</em>

<em>Cynthia and Nicole (Cyn and Nikki) wouldn't quit bugging me, until I wrote their story down.</em>

<em>Cyn, Nikki and I sincerely hope you enjoy it.</em>

Nicole rolled over, yawned quietly and slowly went through the process of waking up. She resisted, but it was futile. Once again, she enjoyed the comfort of Cynthia's bed and the warmth of her lover's body. Nicole turned back to Cynthia's naked body, snuggled closer, before inhaling the sweet scent of her skin. Cynthia's beautiful brown hair was splayed out over her pillow. Nicole lightly, carefully ran her fingers through her hair.

<em>How did I get this lucky?</em>

Cynthia, or Cyn as she preferred to be called, and Nicole had been dating for several months. Their relationship defied explanation. It didn't matter. What they had together was amazing and it was stronger than the challenges in their lives. Cynthia and Nicole's personalities just worked together.

<em>We just click. It's amazing.</em>

Their relationship was new, but they knew it was special. They knew what the other person was thinking. They finished each other's sentences. They made each other laugh. It was cute, funny and disgustingly sweet for both of them. As Nicole stared at her sleeping lover, she was still surprised at the depth of feeling she had for Cynthia.

<em>She's so gorgeous, I don't deserve her</em>.

Cyn's hair was naturally brown, but she frequently got blonde or auburn highlights. Nicole thought auburn looked the best, but Cyn was gorgeous either way. Blue eyes, captivating blue eyes. A perfect smile, framed by impossibly cute dimples. Her eyes trailed over Cyn's face. The urge to cover her face in kisses was strong, but she resisted it.

<em>I won't stop at kisses. Cynthia won't let me.</em>

Nicole pressed herself against her lover. Cynthia murmured softly in her sleep.

<em>I can't be falling in love with Cynthia. I have a husband! I'm already in love with my husband. We have kids together. Ugh! This wasn't supposed to happen.</em>

Nicole's life had exploded open just over a year ago, when she asked her husband if she could have a boyfriend. A boyfriend, not a girlfriend. Her husband, Nick, was shocked but ultimately accepted that she needed more sexually, than he could give her. They stayed married, continued having sex, really kinky sex actually, but Nicole also found a boyfriend.

Collin.

Collin and Nicole dated for several months, with Nick's full knowledge and consent. Their relationship was unique, because Collin and Nick grew to become friends and ultimately business partners. It was while she was dating Collin however, that Nicole met Cynthia. Cynthia changed her life. Not all at once of course, but gradually, inexorably, Nicole's life grew to include Cynthia.

<em>Ripples on a pond</em>.

Cynthia dropped into Nicole's life and the ripples of their relationship were still spreading out. Still growing stronger. Cynthia met Nick, then she met Nicole and Nick's two daughters, Jasmine and April. Fortunately, Nicole's daughters really liked Cynthia, and her oldest daughter Jasmine, accepted her relationship with Cynthia. Nicole's youngest daughter, April, was too young to notice anything unusual with Nicole and Cynthia's relationship. Nicole's husband, Nick, liked Cynthia as well. It was too perfect.

Collin, her boyfriend at the time, thought Nicole's attraction to Cynthia would fade quickly. A passing phase. It didn't. While Nick was accepting of her relationship with Cynthia, her boyfriend, Collin struggled with it. Collin ended their relationship, by going into business with her husband. It was an unusual turn of events and Nicole still hard a hard time wrapping her mind around it. It worked however and her relationship with Collin ended. Collin and Nick's business exploded.

Nicole missed Collin sometimes, because he was gorgeous and well-endowed, but her relationship with Cynthia was more powerful and fulfilling for her.

"Hey baby." Cynthia's sleepy voice floated over to her. "Awake already?"

Cynthia's hand ran lightly over Nicole's stomach and Nicole felt the familiar stirrings of desire grow within her. She loved Cynthia's touch. A smile grew until she thought it was going to split her face.

"I was thinking of us."

"Happy thoughts, I hope." Cynthia replied. She adjusted until she was lying on her side, facing Nicole.

Nicole nodded. "Happy doesn't begin to describe how I feel Cyn." She paused. "You make me so happy, it's scary."

"Why's it scary?"

Nicole's mouth opened, then closed. She shook her head. "I don't know. I guess I worry about losing you. Losing us. I'm not sure I could handle it."

Cynthia looked at Nicole for a moment, before leaning over and kissing her cheek softly. She ran her hand over Nicole's forehead, lightly brushing her hair out of her face. Their eyes locked on to each other.

"Nicole, I love you. Please don't worry about losing me."

Cynthia stared deeply into her lover's eyes for a few more moments, before kissing her softly. Nicole's hands framed Cynthia's face, as their lips met. Their kiss lasted several long, beautiful seconds. Finally Cynthia moved back.

"Hmmmmm. That was nice." Nicole murmured. She ran her hand down Cynthia's body.

Cynthia laughed softly. She sensed her lover's desire. "Wow. I guess I didn't satisfy you last night."

"Stop it. You were amazing last night. I'll always want more of you." Nicole replied lightly.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" Cynthia asked playfully. She threw back the covers, exposing her naked, athletic body. Cynthia was a former cheerleader and at 5'7" she was several inches taller than Nicole's 5'1". Lean, lithe, muscular, beautiful, amazing, all of those adjectives flew through Nicole's mind, as she started her lover hungrily.

Desire bubbled up in Nicole and threatened to erupt in a beautifully erotic way, when the unmistakable sounds of children, interrupted Nicole's carnal plans for Cynthia. Child actually, singular. Nicole and Cynthia looked at each other for a second. They sighed, exactly the same way, at exactly the same time.

<em>Perfectly matched</em>.

"I'll get him." Nicole said quickly. She gave Cynthia another quick peck on the lips. "You stay and rest."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I'd like to spend some more time with Jason anyway."

"Thank you baby." Cynthia said seriously.

Nicole nodded, then slid out of bed. Nicole was naked as well, she loved sleeping naked with Cynthia. She walked over to the chest of drawers and rifled through her clothes, before she found something appropriate to wear in front of Cynthia's son. A smile came to her face, as she thought about the precocious little guy.

Jason was 4 ½ and he was the spitting image of his father. His hair was dark, but his eyes were blue like his mothers, and he was growing like a weed. Jason was too full of energy, like all kids his age, and he had a rebellious streak in him that reminded Nicole of Cynthia. Jason was a great kid and Nicole enjoyed spending time with him, especially since she only had daughters. Her husband, Nick, had a vasectomy after their second daughter, so they couldn't have any more children. Nicole had started to see Jason as the son she couldn't have with her husband, although she was careful not to intrude on Cynthia and her husband's role as parents.

When Nicole's relationship with Collin ended, Cynthia moved from Dallas to Austin to be closer to Nicole. Once Cynthia was closer, their relationship took off. It was after Nicole spent her first weekend in Austin, that Cynthia insisted Nicole move some of her stuff into her house. It was a big step for the two lovebirds. Nicole's husband, Nick, was initially resistant to his wife moving her things into Cynthia's house, but Nicole and Cynthia wore him down.

<em>Cyn deserves the credit for getting Nick on board</em>.

Cynthia simply pointed out that Nicole had clothes at Collin's house, so why wasn't it ok for her to move some stuff into Cynthia's? Nick had no answer. At least he had no answer beyond his own biases and once he stopped to consider Cynthia's point, he agreed with her. He even got a hug from Cynthia, so everything ended well.

Nicole dressed, brushed her hair and teeth and walked out into Cynthia's living room. Jason was sitting in front of the TV watching cartoons. He smiled up at Nicole.

"Hi Nikki." He said simply. Jason's attention returned to big mean, green monsters fighting the good guys and girls in tight, colorful spandex outfits.

"Hey Jason." Nicole replied with a smile, as she walked into the kitchen. She made an individual cup of coffee for herself, then checked Cynthia's refrigerator and pantry. Nicole's husband, Nick, did most of the cooking at her house, but Nicole wasn't a complete klutz in the kitchen. She could manage breakfast.

"Jason." Nicole asked quietly. "Any idea what you want for breakfast?"

"Waffles!!!" Jason shouted and then added a moment later. "Please."

Nicole stifled a laugh. "Waffles it is."

"Thank you." Jason shouted again.

"You're welcome honey." Nicole whispered loudly. "Please keep your voice down though, mommy's still sleeping."

"Okay." Jason whispered loudly back.

The coffee maker beeped loudly. Nicole quickly poured a cup for herself. The coffee maker was a super fancy model with lots of features and attachments. Fortunately it allowed someone to make a single cup. Cynthia had to show Nicole twice how to operate the damn thing. The end result though, was a damn good cup of coffee. Nicole savored it for a moment, before she got started on breakfast.

Jason would eat waffles, every kid loved waffles. Nicole would make a few extra, but it was likely Cynthia would want something else for breakfast. The next few minutes saw Nicole multi-task at a high level. The waffle batter got made, then stowed in the refrigerator. Nicole moved back to the NASA-designed coffee maker.

Cynthia preferred a stronger type of coffee. It was almost like syrup in Nicole's opinion. It would take a few minutes to brew, so Nicole continued to prepare breakfast. She retrieved the butter and syrup and set the table for Jason. Nicole sliced up some fruit and cheese for Cynthia.

"Ta da." She said to herself when she finished Cynthia's breakfast. She surveyed the kitchen, then nodded in satisfaction. "I'm the shit." She whispered under her breath.

Nicole found a tray in one of Cynthia's cabinets. It was dusty, so she cleaned it off. She placed the fruit plate, coffee and silverware onto the tray. The coffeemaker beeped. Nicole poured Cynthia's coffee/syrup into a cup, then placed it next to the fruit on the tray.

"Jason." Nicole called out softly. "I'm going to take your mom some breakfast, then I'll come back and make waffles. That sound ok?"

"Sure."

Nicole carried the tray of food and coffee into Cynthia's bedroom.

"Hey gorgeous." Nicole said quietly. "I brought you some breakfast."

Cynthia brushed her hair away from her face, then sat up in bed. She smiled up at her lover. "You made me breakfast and you're serving it to me in bed?"

"Yes, ma'am." Nicole drawled a thick southern accent.

Cynthia stared hungrily at Nicole. "God, I want you so bad right now."

"Well, you have to wait." Nicole replied with a wide smile. "I'm going to start waffles for Jason in a second. Do you want one?"

Cynthia popped a strawberry into her mouth. "Hmmm. I'll probably have half a waffle."

"That's what I thought. I'll make an extra waffle and you and I can share it."

"Sounds good babe." Cynthia sipped her coffee.

Nicole started to walk out of the room when Cynthia's voice stopped her.

"Thank you for making me a cup of my coffee." She said.

"You're welcome." Nicole replied quickly. "I'll make another pot of the black syrup you call coffee, in case you want some more. Happy?"

"I won't be happy until I get you naked again." Cynthia replied seriously. She winked at Nicole. "I like that outfit by the way. It looks good on you."

"Yea, Yea. You're not getting me back in bed." Nicole replied dryly. She blew her lover a kiss. "Now eat your breakfast."

Nicole walked back into the living room. She picked up her cup of coffee from the counter, before she walked over and sat cross-legged directly behind Jason. Carefully, Nicole put her coffee on the table behind her, then pulled Jason onto her lap. She slid her arms around his warm little body and hugged him tightly.

"Watcha watchin?" She asked playfully.

"X-Men." Jason replied staring at the TV.

"Oooooh. I like X-Men. Wolverine is my favorite."

Jason replied quickly. "I like Gambit. He can throw these cool cards and he talks funny."

Nicole tousled Jason's hair, then hugged him again. Jason warmed up to Nicole slowly and Nicole was careful not to push herself into his life. They were polite to each other for almost two months, before Jason decided that he liked Nicole and he would allow her to stay. Since then, Jason had opened up considerably. Now he greeted Nicole with hug each time he saw her. He also didn't mind being affectionate with her. The second time, Nicole spent the night with Cynthia, Jason fell asleep in her lap. Nicole stayed over the next night and he asked her to read him a story. Progress.

Nicole smiled as she held Jason. <em>The little bugger has wormed his way into my heart</em>.

Jason and Nicole watched X-Men until the episode ended and the trailer for next week was over. Nicole's ass had fallen asleep sitting on the floor, but she didn't care, it was nice to hold Jason. She enjoyed spending time with him.

Cynthia emerged from the master bedroom, just as a new episode was starting. She stopped at the sight of Nicole holding Jason. She quickly disappeared back into the bedroom. A few seconds later, she emerged holding a camera and smiling widely, as she took several pictures of Nicole and Jason. Cynthia was fortunate she was using a digital camera that used a memory card, because Nicole was pretty certain she would have used an entire roll of film, if she'd been using an old camera.

Nicole carefully extricated herself from Jason, ruffled his hair one more time, before joining Cynthia in the kitchen. When Nicole arrived, Cynthia's eyes were full of tears. She pulled her girlfriend into the laundry room.

"Thank you." She said breathlessly.

"You're welcome, Cyn."

A second later, their lips found each other and they kissed passionately, enjoying the feel of each other's body. Nicole loved Cynthia's high, firm breasts and she simply couldn't get enough of her ass. It was amazing, muscular, tight and perfectly shaped. Cynthia was an athlete and her body reflected it.

Finally they separated, breathing heavily and desperately wanting more than a kiss. Nicole put her hand on Cynthia's chest and held her at bay.

"Stop. Please." She said. "I've got to make breakfast."

"I know." Cynthia acknowledged. She covered Nicole's hand with her own. "It's just seeing you holding my son, well it really affected me. I'm sorry, I just couldn't help myself."

"Honey, it's ok. You never have to apologize for being affectionate with me. Never."

Cynthia nodded and smiled at Nicole. "I love you."

Nicole hesitated and Cynthia rushed to continue. "It's ok. You don't have to say it."

"Cynthia--." Nicole began, but Cynthia interrupted her.

"Nikki, honey, its ok. I'm not pushing you. I love you and I want you to know it. That's all."

Nicole smiled at Cynthia. "Thank you."

Cynthia kissed Nicole on the nose. "Breakfast."

"Breakfast." Nicole echoed.

Jason loved waffles. Truthfully, Jason loved syrup. Waffles were just an excuse to have syrup. Cynthia tried to keep Jason from having a little waffle with his syrup, several times during breakfast. Nicole let Cynthia handle the little bugger. Cynthia and her husband handled any behavior correction that was necessary. It was a rule and one that Jason's dad asked Nicole to support, which she did happily. It was to her benefit, because she got all the fun and happy times with Jason, while Cynthia and her husband got to deal with the discipline.

<em>Yayyy.</em> Nicole thought as she finished her half of the waffle.

Jason wolfed down two waffles, with way too much syrup despite Cynthia's best efforts, and he was bursting with energy. Nicole gathered up the plates and dishes, then headed into the kitchen, when the doorbell rang. Cynthia walked over to open the door.

"Hi. Good morning." Cynthia's voice was friendly.

"Hi Cynthia." A male voice that Nicole didn't recognize.

"We're having a little pool party and our kids wanted to invite Jason. Can he come over?"

"Now?" Cynthia asked.

"Yes, if it's ok." He asked. "It's a spur of the moment thing, but we'll have two sets of parents there, so there will be plenty of supervision. We even have life-jackets and floaties that will fit Jason. You're welcome to come over as well. We'd enjoy having you and my wife wants to talk to you about an exercise program."

"That sounds great Greg." Cynthia paused. "Can you give me a second? I'll get Jason ready, then I'll bring him over? He's just had breakfast, so he's got plenty of energy."

Greg laughed. "Awesome! We can help him with that, for sure."

"Ok, I'll see you in a bit." Cynthia replied.

"Great. Thank you. My kids really wanted to have Jason over."

"Oh you're welcome."

Nicole heard the door close. Cynthia walked over and smiled at her. "Neighborhood pool party!"

"Can I go put my swimming suit on mom?" Jason asked eagerly.

Cynthia nodded at her son. Jason disappeared like a magician. Nicole finished the washing the last plate and put it next to the sink to dry. She looked over at Cynthia, who had taken a seat at the table. She was looking out the window.

"Are you going?"

"I don't see how I can miss it." She said quietly. "Besides, these folks are my neighbors, so I do want to get to know them better. Although Greg's a little creepy. Their kids are the same age as Jason and they've already bonded over fast food and soda. You saw how much Jason wanted to play with them."

"Yea." Nicole replied quietly. "So what's making you hesitate?"

Cynthia didn't reply, she sat at the table and sipped her coffee. Nicole grabbed a bottle of water from the refrigerator. She leaned up against the kitchen counter, waiting for her lover to respond.

"I want you to come with me." Cynthia replied. She looked over at Nicole hopefully. "Will you do that for me?"

Nicole nodded. "Of course honey."

"Are you sure?" Cynthia asked.

"Cyn, yes I'm sure." Nicole walked over. She sat down on Cynthia's lap. "I'm not ashamed of you or our relationship. I'll definitely never be ashamed of how I feel about you." Nicole paused. "But I'm not the one who lives here and I don't want to put you in an uncomfortable position."

"Thank you." Cynthia replied.

"Should I wear my thong bikini?" Nicole teased.

Cynthia almost spit out the coffee she'd just sipped. "Yea, not to this party honey. It's a family show."

"You know I'm only kidding. I have an age-appropriate suit I can wear." She paused. "How do you want to play it?"

"Friends?" Cynthia asked.

"Works for me. It also happens to be the truth." She paused. "Although, if you want to introduce me as your girlfriend, I'm fine with that as well. I'm serious, Cyn."

Cynthia kissed her softly. "You're so amazing."

Nicole smiled, enjoyed the kiss for a few more seconds, and then stood up. She walked into the bedroom. A few seconds later, she heard the pitter-patter of Jason's eager footsteps running into the kitchen. Jason's excited voice was cute as he talked to his mom in the other room.

Nicole knew it was a tough decision for Cynthia. Dallas had been her home for several years, but once her relationship with Nicole intensified, she relocated to Austin. Cynthia's company had an office in Austin. Nicole lived in San Antonio, so they were only an hour away from each other and they saw each other as often as possible. It wasn't an ideal situation, but it worked. Cynthia bought a small, one-story home in a nice neighborhood and she'd been living there for about two months.

<hr pg="2" />Nicole had spent the night a few times, but this was only the second time she was spending the weekend at Cynthia's. Today would be the first time, Nicole would meet the neighbors and their families. It was going to be interesting. Cynthia's friends and relatives all knew about Cynthia and Nicole, so she wasn't living in the closet by any means. Cynthia was bi-sexual, like Nicole, although Nicole suspected that Cynthia was forever done with men. Either way, Cynthia was out to everyone she knew and she was happy. Her neighbors however hadn't gotten a chance to know her well, so they had no idea.

Today would be a new social situation for Cynthia, Nicole and Jason. Nicole suspected that Cynthia would introduce them as friends and wait for another time (not a kid's pool party) to let their parents know about her relationship with Nicole. It was a delicate balancing act, particularly since Jason was just making friends. The fact that kids were present today, also made it a little stickier.

Nicole had just finished putting on her one-piece bathing suit and tying it up around her neck, when she felt arms circle her mid-section. Cynthia nuzzled her neck and kissed her lightly.

"Hey. I like that on you." She paused and stepped back. "It's very, ummmm, age-appropriate."

"Bitch."

Cynthia's eyes danced as she looked at her lover and the bathing suit she'd picked out. "No, it's sensible. There's the word I'm looking for, sensible. It certainly covers all the good parts and leaves everything to the imagination."

"Keep it up, honey." Nicole replied.

"I think I remember that bathing suit from the Miss America pageant. In 1960."

"That's it." Nicole glared at her lover. "You are not getting any tonight or maybe forever."

Cynthia laughed. She changed into her own bathing suit. It wasn't much better, in Nicole's opinion, although a potato sack would look good on Cynthia. Nicole and Cynthia both slipped on some shorts over their bathing suits and Nicole slipped on a t-shirt.

"Why the shirt?" Cynthia asked.

"Boobs honey. You said it's a family show and I don't think 'The Twins' need to be on display." Nicole replied quickly. "They don't need any more attention, especially from the neighbors."

Nicole and Cynthia affectionately called Nicole's breasts, the Twins or The Girls. Cynthia winked at Nicole. "I like your twins."

"Do you really?" Nicole asked seriously.

Cynthia nodded. "Absolutely."

"Hmmm. That's too bad. I guess you're going to miss them aren't you?" Nicole delivered her lines with loads of sarcasm, topped with a light dusting of venom. "I mean they're not exactly age-appropriate, are they? Honestly, who wants to see boobs when they're covered by such a 'sensible' swimming suit?"

"Oh shit." Cynthia rolled her eyes. "There's that temper. Watch out folks, Hurricane Nicole is approaching fast."

Nicole glared at Cynthia for a moment, before leaving the bathroom. Cynthia slapped her ass, as she passed. Nicole wasn't upset. She loved to tease and play with Cynthia. Cyn loved it as well.

A few minutes and several coats of sunscreen later, everyone was ready to go. Nicole grabbed some Oreo cookies and two bags of chips. They were greeted at the door by Greg and Nicole finally got to meet him. He seemed nice. Skinny, not all that attractive, but he seemed like a nice guy.

Jason pulled Cynthia outside, while Nicole dropped off the food in the kitchen. Greg met Nicole in the kitchen.

"Hi. What can I get you to drink?" He asked.

"Water is fine." Nicole replied. Greg handed her a bottle of water. "Thank you."

Greg smiled and leaned up against the counter. "You're welcome. I'm glad Jason could come over. He's a new addition to the neighborhood, but he's already Mr. Popular."

"It was nice of you to invite him over, Greg." Nicole sipped her water. "It's important for kids to have friends and I don't know any kid who doesn't like a swimming pool."

Greg laughed. "That's for sure." He finished his beer tossed it into the trash and then retrieved another one.

<em>No judgments Nicole</em>.

Nick and Nicole were always careful about drinking in front of their kids, but she knew a lot of parents felt differently. Cynthia didn't drink in front of Jason either. Greg apparently had no issues with drinking in front of his kids, and that was fine, but it was 11:00 am in the morning. Greg was starting on his second beer and Nicole had known him for all of 3 minutes.

<em>A little early to be starting, isn't it neighbor</em>.

"Why don't we head outside." Nicole suggested. "I want to check out this pool."

"Sounds good." Greg replied. He smiled widely and then motioned for Nicole lead the way.

Nicole, and just about every woman alive, pretty much agreed that chivalry was dead. Sure there was probably a time, when a guy held a door open for a woman just because he was a gentleman. Unfortunately, that tradition had evolved into a charade where a guy pretended to be chivalrous, just so he could check out a woman's ass as she walked in front of him.

Greg was no exception. Nicole caught him staring hard at her ass, in the reflection of a window, as they approached the patio door. When they reached the door, Greg quickly reached in front of her, brushing his chest against her shoulder and opened the door for her.

"Ladies first." He said with a small bow. Nicole walked through the doorway without responding and looked immediately for Cynthia.

<em>It's just an ass, Greg. You're wife has one too, you lecherous fuck! Now I know what Cyn meant about creepy.</em>

Cynthia was standing next to two other ladies, when Nicole stepped out onto the patio and into the Texas sun. It was hot already and the pool looked inviting. It was a standard, suburban swimming pool. It had a shallow end, a deep end and it was almost filled with toys and kids. Nicole dismissed Greg from her mind and focused on her girlfriend.

"Nicole." Cynthia said as she approached. "I want you to meet Allison and Corina." Nicole shook both of their hands and smiled warmly at them. "Allison is Greg's wife." Cynthia finished.

"You have a lovely home and a beautiful pool." Nicole said. <em>And a creepy husband</em>.

Allison beamed at the compliment. "Thank you. That's nice of you to say."

Corina was about to say something, when three kids descended upon them and began pelting the mothers with questions. It was several minutes, before the adults got to talk amongst themselves again.

Allison sighed and Corina laughed. "Kids."

"So how do you to know each other?" Corina asked.

Nicole didn't hear suspicion or a hidden suggestion in her question, so she looked over at Cynthia and smiled. "Why don't you tell them?"

Cynthia looked back at her. "Are you sure? You do a much better job at it."

"Well, ok." Nicole laughed. She looked at Allison and Corina. "Cynthia saved me."

"What?" Allison asked.

"It's a bit of a story, so buckle your seat belt." Nicole joked.

"My husband's business partner had a big function and he needed a date." Nicole paused. "I got shanghaied into being his date for the night."

Cynthia giggled and Nicole glared at her playfully.

"Anyway, we were at this club, after the business dinner, and I really wanted to dance. Unfortunately, my 'date'." Nicole made quotations in the air. "My date didn't want to dance, or couldn't dance, either way, I was stuck sitting on the couch while he conducted business. Jerk, left me completely alone."

Cynthia added quickly. "I saw her sitting all by herself."

"Right." Nicole glanced at Cynthia, before looking back over at Allison and Corina. "So there I am, all by my lonesome, completely ignored by my date for the night and counting the minutes before I could go home." Nicole took a sip of her water. "Well, who comes over?" She motioned at Cynthia. "Cynthia asked me if I wanted to dance. Normally, I would have said no, but I was upset that I was left alone and ignored by my date, so I said yes. A few seconds later, we were out on the dance floor dancing."

"She's a good dancer, by the way." Cynthia added.

"Whatever." Nicole replied quickly. "You're the ex-cheerleader. You have more rhythm in your pinkie than I do in my whole body."

Cynthia stuck her tongue out at Nicole, who responded by making a face. The girls all laughed loudly. The men at the party looked over, confused looks on their faces. When the girls finally calmed down, Nicole continued.

"Ok. Long story, short." She paused. "Cynthia and I danced for a few songs, then we spent a few minutes talking after we were done dancing. We had a lot in common and struck up a friendship that night." Nicole took a breath. "When Cynthia mentioned she was moving to Austin, I offered to come up and help her get acquainted with the city a little bit. I live in San Antonio, with my husband and two daughters." Nicole explained. "I was also born and raised in San Antonio, so I know the area pretty well."

"Ahhhhh." Corina and Allison said in unison.

"I saved her from a boring night." Cynthia said proudly.

"What a good friend you are." Corina said lightly. "So you were a cheerleader?"

Nicole couldn't resist. She added quickly, with false enthusiasm. "Yes. Cynthia was a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys."

"Seriously?" Allison asked.

"Yes." Cynthia admitted. She gave Nicole a quick glare, because she hated talking about it. "It was just for one season."

"I'm so jealous." Corina replied. "Did you get to meet the players?"

"Some." Cynthia acknowledged. "But you'd be surprised how little we socialized with the players. It's actually discouraged."

"Still that's pretty impressive." Allison acknowledged. "What do you do now?"

Cynthia smiled, happy to be on firmer ground. "I'm a pharmaceutical sales rep for a local company."

"Ooooh." Corina said quietly. "So you deal with doctors every day, meet any cute ones?"

"Yep." Cynthia said with a smile. "Lots of cute ones."

"Who's cute?" Greg asked, as he approached.

"Oh Honey." Allison said quickly. "We were just talking about an actor."

The girls all quickly agreed and murmured their assent. Greg gave Cynthia and Nicole a smile and stood next to his wife. "So are you girls going to get in the water?" He asked.

Cynthia picked up on his creepiness immediately. "No. I'm fine where I'm at. Thanks though."

"I'm good as well, Greg." Nicole said flatly.

"Suit yourselves." He said amiably and slipped off his T-shirt. Greg glanced back at Nicole, before jumping in the water.

Corina watched Greg take his shirt off. When he jumped into the water, she turned to Allison and whispered. "You are so lucky girl." Allison blushed and winked back at Corina.

Cynthia and Nicole's eyes met and they were thinking exactly the opposite of Corina. Greg was a legend in his own mind. Sure he was thin, but that didn't mean he had a good body. Thinning hair and pasty white skin weren't sexy to most women. Greg was firmly average in the attractiveness category, so unless he had gobs of money, he wasn't that great of a catch. He was also seriously creepy. Nicole and Cynthia put on their best plastic smiles and nodded along with Corina.

The pool party was a hit with the kids though and Jason had a great time. He was in and out of the water so much, Cynthia gave up on giving him a towel. He wasn't out of the water long enough to make it worthwhile, and after the third time drying off, the towel was soaked. Jason air dried for the rest of the of the pool party, which was fine with him.

Finally, after four long hours, for Nicole and Cynthia, and four short hours for Jason, they made their way back to Cynthia's house. Nicole and Cynthia each held one of Jason's hands as they walked across the street.

"Did you have fun Jason?" Nicole asked.

"Yea!" Jason said immediately. "It was great." He turned to Cynthia. "Mom, can we have a pool?"

"Maybe honey." Cynthia replied.

"Please mommy." Jason begged.

"We'll see honey." Cynthia replied. She winked at her son. "Who knows what Santa will bring you?"

Nicole squeezed his hand. "Oooh. You're mom's right, if you're a good boy all year, Santa might bring you a swimming pool."

"I'll be real good." Jason promised solemnly.

When they got in the house, Jason disappeared into his room. Nicole went to use the restroom. She met Cynthia when she walked back into the kitchen.

"Jason's laying on his bed, talking to Santa, and promising to be a good boy." Cynthia wiped her eyes. "He's so cute."

Nicole gently drew Cynthia into a hug and kissed her cheek. They held each other for a while, enjoying the closeness and intimacy of their bodies. Finally, Nicole pulled away from Cynthia. "Are you ok with my description of how we met?"

Cynthia laughed. "I'm fine with it. It was all true and it wasn't the right time to let them know I'm in love with you." She blushed and looked sheepishly at Nicole. "Thanks for saving me. I know I choked on that question."

Cynthia's voice started out light and humorous, but she ended on a serious note. Nicole looked at her for a brief moment, before pulling her close and kissing her passionately. Desire blossomed between them. Their hands roamed over each other's bodies.

"Wait, wait." Cynthia stepped back. "Jason is still awake and I don't want him to walk out and find us half-naked." Nicole thrust out her bottom lip, but nodded in agreement. "Besides, I have something I want to discuss with you."

Cynthia reached down and took hold of Nicole's hand. She guided Nicole to the couch and sat down next to her. Her face was pensive and serious.

"Honey?" Nicole asked concerned.

Cynthia squeezed Nicole's hands and their eyes locked. "Go away with me."

"What do you mean?"

"I want to take a vacation with you, Nikki. Just the two of us." She smiled hopefully. "No kids, no jobs, no husbands and no stress. Just us. Will you do that for me?"

Nicole found herself nodding immediately. She loved the idea of a vacation with Cynthia. Nick would have to agree of course, but he was usually pretty easy-going, and Nicole didn't think he'd refuse her. Jasmine and April might not understand at first, but she'd work with Nick to craft an explanation for her daughters. Nicole also sensed that this was important to Cynthia and she wanted to be there for her girlfriend.

<em>Besides a vacation with this sexy woman, sounds like fun. A lot of fun</em>.

Cynthia leaned back on the couch and pulled Nicole down on top of her. Nicole laid her head on Cynthia's chest. The sound of Cynthia's heartbeat echoed in Nicole's ear and she hugged her girlfriend tightly. Cynthia ran her fingers through Nicole's hair softly.

"When?" Nicole asked.

"Jasmine and April are going to summer camp in about a month aren't they?"

"Yes." Nicole nodded. She snuggled against Cynthia's body. "They go every year. It's sponsored by our church and the girls love it."

"Why don't we go while they're away? That way they won't miss you and you won't have to worry about them, because they'll be busy at camp."

Nicole raised herself off of Cynthia's chest. She narrowed her eyes at her girlfriend. "You've been planning this for a while, haven't you?"

A cute blush colored Cynthia's cheeks. She nodded shyly. "I spoke with Nick already. He's ok with you going away with me." She paused for second. "He wasn't comfortable with the idea at first, but we talked it through and he finally agreed."

"Wow. You've put a lot of effort into this vacation already." Nicole sat up completely and brushed her hair back. "This means a lot to you, doesn't it?"

"You mean a lot to me Nikki." Cynthia replied softly and then took Nicole's hands in hers. "I'd really like to spend more than a night or a weekend with my girlfriend." Cynthia sighed. "Stolen Moments, Nikki. Don't you ever feel like all we have are a few stolen moments together?"

Once again, Nicole found herself nodding in agreement. Cynthia had a point and the same thought had crossed Nicole's mind as well. When she was seeing Collin, she'd been able to spend several nights a week with him and a few weekends a month. Cynthia moved closer to Nicole, but they still weren't able to get more than a few nights, here and there, with one another. It wasn't enough time for either of them.

"I'd love to go on vacation with you Cyn." Nicole replied. She smiled at her girlfriend. "Y'know Cyn, if you accepted Collin and Nick's job offer, we could see each other almost daily. You could move to San Antonio and we could have a real relationship." Nicole reminded her lover.

"Nikki." Cynthia took a deep breath. "I'm not sure I could work for Nick and Collin. Although Nick did ask if I would go to lunch with him and Collin the next time I'm in San Antonio." Cynthia shrugged. "Since Nick agreed to let you go on this vacation, I feel obligated to at least meet with him and Collin. Besides, I get to pick the restaurant and they're paying, so it's not a bad deal."

"Ok. Ok. I won't bring it up again." Nicole raised her hands. She smiled at Cynthia. "So tell me more about our vacation."

Cynthia leaped over and hugged Nicole tightly. A few seconds later, Cynthia ended up laying on Nicole and kissing her softly. Nicole's hands found Cynthia's ass, which she found irresistible, and she squeezed firmly. "God, I love your body."

"I'm going to go check on Jason." Cynthia whispered softly. She slid off the couch.

Nicole got up as well. She walked quickly into the bedroom. She desperately hoped Jason had fallen asleep or was engrossed in movie. Lust filled her body. She needed Cynthia badly. Nicole pulled back the covers on the bed, before walking into the bathroom and quickly brushing her teeth. When she came back into the bedroom, a beautiful sight greeted her.

Cynthia was laying on the bed, completely naked, and smiling up at Nicole.

"Jason's taking nap. He's out like a light." She ran her hand over her hip slowly. "The bedroom door's locked."

Nicole's heart leaped in her chest and she returned Cynthia's smile. She didn't jump into bed right away though, she walked over to the chest of drawers.

"Uh. What are you doing?" Cynthia asked. "Get in this bed."

"Just wait." Nicole replied. "I want to do something for you." She fiddled with Cynthia's IPod and speaker and selected a specific playlist. The room immediately filled with soft, sensual music.

Cynthia groaned in frustration, but lay back patiently waiting for Nicole. She watched as Nicole slowly undressed and found the right set of lingerie. A slow smile crossed Cynthia's face as she watched Nicole slip on the sexy negligee. A pair of stripper heels appeared from somewhere and Nicole put them on as well.

"You are so beautiful and sexy and desirable and amazing." Cynthia breathed quietly.

A satisfied smile crossed Nicole's face as she finished dressing and cat-walked slowly over to the bed. Cynthia's bed was a four-post bed and Nicole used one of the posts as a stripper-pole. She started dancing sensually for her lover. Cynthia's mouth dropped open as Nicole danced for her.

As soon as Cynthia moved down to Austin, Nicole decided to take some pole-dancing classes. She told Nick they were for him, but truthfully, Nicole wanted to dance for Cynthia more than Nick. She loved the way Cynthia's eyes devoured her when they danced together in a club and she hoped she'd get the same reaction from Cynthia in their bedroom.

Cynthia's reaction was even better today. She made Nicole feel sexy and desirable.

As Nicole danced, Cynthia moved forward on the bed. She motioned Nicole to come closer. As soon as she was within arms-length, Cynthia let her hands roam over Nicole's lush body. Nikki had curves that Cynthia could only dream about and her lush, d-cup breasts captivated Cynthia. A flat stomach, curvy hips and round, shapely, amazing ass, were all part of the package with Nicole.

<hr pg="3" />"Do you like what you see?" Nicole asked softly.

"You know I do."

Nicole smiled seductively, as she slipped off her negligee. As soon as the lingerie hit the floor, Cynthia practically pulled her on to the bed. Nicole started to remove her heels, but Cynthia stopped her.

"Leave them on. It's sexy." She murmured softly. She slid between Nicole's legs.

The first time Nicole was with Cynthia, she was worried and extremely self-conscious about having Cynthia perform oral sex on her. Her husband did it all the time, but he was a man. There was something about having a woman do it, made Nicole uncomfortable the first time. That feeling was multiplied when Nicole returned the favor for Cynthia, because she was convinced she wouldn't do it right.

Fortunately, Cynthia was patient and understanding, and what Nicole lacked in experience, she more than made up for in effort. Nicole soon found that she loved Cynthia's body. She also loved, absolutely loved, sex with Cynthia. The initial feeling of awkwardness vanished quickly, leaving only lust and pure desire in its wake. Nicole and Cynthia had explored each other's bodies over the last several months and they still barely kept their hands off of one another.

Nicole knew she could satisfy Cynthia and she relished every opportunity to get naked with her girlfriend and prove it.

<em>Magic. Cynthia's tongue is magic.</em>..

Nicole writhed in pleasure on the bed as Cynthia coaxed a massive orgasm out of her. As the orgasm built within her, Nicole tried hard to keep her moans from becoming screams. Slowly, inexorably, the orgasm approached like a tidal wave. Nicole was forced to grab a pillow and cover her face when it finally exploded within her. She lost the battle to be quiet and screamed into the pillow as pleasure rippled through her body. When she finally removed the pillow from her face, gasping for air, she found Cynthia lying next to her smiling.

"My turn." Nicole said eagerly. She pushed Cynthia onto her back.

She didn't dive between Cynthia's legs immediately. Nicole wanted to savor the moment and she loved Cynthia's body too much to focus on one area. Nicole lovingly caressed Cynthia's breasts and ran her tongue over her nipples several times. The taste of Cynthia's skin was intoxicating. Finally, Cynthia couldn't take it any longer. She guided Nicole's head between her legs. Nicole ran her entire tongue over Cynthia's lips, enjoying the texture, taste and smell of her lover.

Barely a second later, it happened. Nicole lost herself. The pleasure of making love to Cynthia was overpowering for Nicole. Everything around her, ceased to exist and she used Cynthia's moans and body movements to guide her actions. Nicole focused completely on bringing pleasure to her girlfriend.

Cynthia's own orgasm burst within her a few minutes later, equally powerful, although Cynthia didn't need a pillow to muffle her screams. Nicole moved up and lay next to her, as Cynthia recovered. Normally, Nicole and Cynthia spent more time, enjoying each other's bodies, but their lust and desire for each other today was too strong. Jason could wake up at any moment as well, so they didn't have the luxury of unlimited time. Their hunger for one another had been overwhelming and they finally got a chance to release their pent up sexual energy. Nicole slipped off her stripper heels and cuddled up next to Cynthia.

Nicole was shorter than Cynthia by about 5 to 6 inches, so when they spooned, Cynthia normally held her. She loved the feel of Cynthia's arms around her and her breasts pushing into her back. Nicole never considered herself a lesbian, but as she lay in her lovers arms, she wondered why she would ever leave the comfort of Cynthia's embrace.

<em>I love being with Cynthia, but am I in love with her?</em> Nicole asked herself.

She didn't have an answer.

* * *

"Mom!" April yelled as Nicole walked in the door. Her youngest daughter ran over to her. She gave her a big hug. "I missed you."

"Oooof." Nicole barely managed to stay upright, as April wrapped her arms around her. "I missed you too kiddo." She picked up her daughter. "Wow, you're getting big."

Nicole carried April into the living room, where she set her back down on the couch. She sat down next to her and they watched TV together. "Where is everyone?" Nicole asked.

"Uhh. Dad's playing golf with Collin and Jasmine's upstairs in her room." April replied without taking her eyes off the TV. "Jasmine had a sleepover or a pajama party last night. She just got back this morning."

Nicole hugged her daughter. "I remember. I'm going to go up and check on her. You ok down here?"

"Yea mom."

Nicole dropped her purse off on the counter. She'd left Cynthia and Jason shortly after lunch on Sunday and she was home an hour later. It was nice having Cynthia so close, but she agreed with Cynthia that they never seemed to have enough time together.

"Stolen moments." She murmured to herself.

She knocked softly at Jasmine's door and smiled as she heard her daughter's voice. "Come in, Mom."

"How'd you know it was me?" She asked.

"You're the only one who knocks." Jasmine replied simply. "Dad always call out before he enters. April just barges right on in." She smiled at her mom. "You're the only one who knocks and I really appreciate it."

"You're welcome Honey. How was the sleep-over?"

"It was great. We scarfed on pizza, followed by ice cream and spent the night doing our nails and talking about boys." Jasmine laughed. "It was a lot of fun."

"I'm glad honey." Nicole winked at her daughter. "Did you talk about any guy in particular, or just guys in general?"

Jasmine hesitated. "Um. Mostly we just talked about guys in general." A blush filled her cheeks as she answered. She looked down at her lap.

"Honey. It's ok if you like a guy." Nicole leaned forward. "It's perfectly natural at your age."

"Actually mom, I'm more attracted to girls." Jasmine said softly.

Nicole's mouth dropped open. "What?"

Jasmine laughed. "Mom. I was just kidding."

Nicole and Jasmine laughed and Nicole playfully slapped her daughter's arm. When they finally stopped laughing, Nicole smiled warmly at Jasmine.

"I see you have your father's sense of humor." Jasmine shrugged and rolled her eyes. Nicole winked at her daughter. "Seriously though Jasmine, if you did decide you like other women, it would be ok with your dad and me. We love you. Your choice of partners is up to you."

Jasmine nodded and hugged her mom briefly. Nicole smiled at her. "So, is it a guy or a girl."

"It's a guy." Jasmine replied and her blush returned.

"Awesome."

"Really?" Jasmine looked at Nicole hopefully. "Are you sure you and dad won't freak out?"

Nicole laughed. "Your dad will probably freak out, but that's normal for dads. I'll handle him." She took her daughters hand. "So who's this guy?"

"His name's Logan." Jasmine said softly. "He's soooo cute and we had a few classes last year. He's going to the same high school as me next year."

"Hmmmm. Logan. Nice name." Nicole said. "Does he know you think he's cute?"

Jasmine shook her head. "No. We were lab partners together, but that's it. Honestly, I don't think he knows I exist."

"Ahhh." Nicole replied. "Yea guys can be really self-absorbed. Is there any way I can help? Anything I can do?"

Jasmine looked at her mom and hesitated. "It's ok Jasmine." Nicole assured her.

"Well, can I go to the mall this weekend?" Jasmine asked. "Logan works at the mall, some athletic store, and I thought I could...y'know...run into him."

"Absolutely honey." Nicole patted her leg. "Do you want to go together or do you want to go with your friends?"

"Can I go with you, Mom?" She asked. "My friends don't really know how I feel and if I went with my friends, it could be awkward. Besides, I wanted some new running shoes anyway."

"Yes. You and I will have a girl's day." Nicole smiled at her daughter. "Just give me a sign, if you need some space, and I'll disappear."

Jasmine hugged her mom tightly. "You're the best."

"Thank you baby."

"How's Cynthia by the way?" Jasmine asked.

Jasmine was aware of her mom's relationship with Cynthia. She was too young for details, but she knew that her mom and Cynthia were close friends. Nicole and Nick had decided not to hide anything from Jasmine, but they also were extremely careful that nothing physical or inappropriate happened when the kids were home. It was a delicate balance between making sure Jasmine had age-appropriate knowledge and not over-doing it. Nick and Nicole decided to err on the side of providing Jasmine information, rather than trying to keep everything from her.

Only time would tell, if that approach was the right one.

Now that Jasmine was going to be a freshman in High School, she was getting more interested in boys. Nicole knew it was only a matter of time before Jasmine started dating.

<em>Nick will love that</em>.

"Cynthia's great honey and she says 'hi', by the way." Nicole replied.

Jasmine nodded. "Say 'hi' for me next time you see her. Hey, I wanted to ask Cynthia something, but I wanted to see if you're ok with it first. I was thinking about going out for cheerleading in High School mom. Do you think Cynthia would give me some pointers?"

"Sure honey. I think Cynthia would be happy to help you with Cheerleading." Nicole paused. "I'll ask her the next time we talk."

Jasmine practically glowed at Nicole's response. "Thanks Mom."

"You're welcome Honey." Nicole leaned forward and kissed her daughter's forehead. She walked to the door. "Are you hungry?"

"Not right now. Thanks."

Nicole walked into her bedroom. She changed into a pair of old sweats and t-shirt. She lay back on the bed, letting her mind wander back over the weekend.

<em>I love spending time with Cynthia and I do want to see her more often</em>, Nicole thought. <em>But is that fair to Cynthia? Is it fair to Nick?</em>

Nicole evaluated her feelings for Cynthia, letting her mind play Devil's Advocate.

<em>She loves you Nicole</em>.

<em>I know. I've never felt this way about a woman. I can't imagine not having her in my life. I can't wait to see her and she's always in my thoughts.</em>

<em>Do you love her?</em>

<em>I don't know! I'm confused dammit. I'm married. I do love my husband and I have great kids.</em>

<em>Do you love Cynthia? It's a simple question.</em>

<em>I don't know! If I do love her, what does that mean? Do I leave Nick? Leave my kids? I don't even have a job, what could I offer her? Is that even what she wants? Cynthia's never talked about anything more than seeing each other more often.</em>

"Hey gorgeous." Nick's voice interrupted her internal battle and Nicole jerked in surprise.

Her husband, Nick, walked into the room and stood next to the bed, smiling down at her. He was wearing a polo, shorts and a golf visor. He looked good. Happy. Relaxed. Handsome.

"Sorry, I startled you." He said. "I'm glad you're back. I missed you."

Nicole slid off the bed. She gave her husband a big hug. She inhaled deeply, because she loved his scent and his cologne. Nick had been working out for almost a year straight now and his body was firm and hard. It felt great.

"It's ok Nick. I missed you as well." Nicole stepped back and followed her husband into the closet, where he started changing. "How was golf? Did Collin beat you?"

Nick laughed. "No. You wouldn't believe how much it pisses him off. He's getting better though and he'll probably beat me in the near future."

"How did things go with your prospective client?" She asked.

Nick and Collin conducted a lot of business over golf and today's round of golf was with a prospective client.

"Excellent." Nick replied. "He signed with Collin and he also agreed to let me look at his insurance program. The guy has a lot of property and several franchises, so if I can get him to move his business to our firm, it will be a nice win."

"That's awesome honey." Nicole replied. "I'm happy things are going so well."

Nick changed into an old pair of shorts and a new t-shirt. He smiled at his wife. "Business is excellent. I'm actually surprised our business is doing so well. I expected us to suffer and work like dogs to make ends meet, but the opposite has happened." He admitted. "Collin and I are considering expanding our staff even more. We really need a solid salesperson, who's good with people and can handle the real estate portion of our business."

Nick looked at Nicole meaningfully for a moment.

"Honey, I'm not sure Cynthia's comfortable with the idea of working for you and Collin." Nicole replied. "She asked me to stop bringing it up Nick. She likes her independence."

Nick shook his head. "Ugh. She's perfect."

"I know baby, but she feels it's too awkward to work with my husband and my former lover. I'm not sure I blame her either."

Nick slid his hand into Nicole's and they walked out to the kitchen, where Nick checked the fridge. He picked a bottle of wine, opened it and then started putting dinner together. He poured a glass of wine for Nicole, then served it to her with a smile. Nick and Nicole had been married for almost 17 years and Nicole knew when her husband had something on his mind. She sipped her wine and waited for him to share his thoughts.

"Nicole, what if Cynthia didn't work for us?" Nick asked after a minute. He was chopping celery, so he didn't look up when he asked the question.

"What do you mean?"

Nick set down his knife, then scooped the celery into a small bowl. He set it aside, retrieved an onion and started slicing it as well. He spoke as he sliced the onion.

"Well the Real Estate portion of our business will really be a collection of operations. We'd like to be able to help our clients purchase real estate, but also handle the property management and the mortgage operations as well. So when we talk about real estate, we really mean Real Estate, Property Management and Mortgage operations."

"Ok. So wouldn't Cynthia still work for you two?"

"No necessarily." Nick finally stopped slicing the onion and looked over at Nicole. "We could structure it so that Cynthia would be a partner in the business." He paused. "We'd have to work out a partnership agreement and it's likely her portion of the partnership would be fairly small, but she'd be a partner, not an employee."

"She wouldn't be an equal partner?" Nicole asked.

"In terms of running her own business, yes. She'd be an equal partner." Nick paused. "In terms of revenue sharing, she'd get a smaller portion of the revenues." Nick saw Nicole's reaction and held out his hands. "Wait, just hear me out."

"Collin and I both put up $250k to start this business." Nick reminded Nicole. "We split the revenue's 50/50 right now and if either of us receives a bonus from the companies we deal with; we share that as well." He paused. "Cynthia would essentially be running a start-up operation. We'd send her clients and she'd be responsible for growing that part of the business. I'm pretty sure Collin would agree to Cynthia keeping all revenues or bonuses from that portion of the business."

Nick went back to slicing the onion.

"Nicole, for all intents and purposes, Cynthia would be her own boss." He smiled at his wife. "You could work with her if you wanted. Help her grow the business. The door is always open for you and you know Cynthia will need help with learning the real estate side of the business."

"Collin's ok with this approach?" Nicole asked.

"Yep." Nick replied. "We discussed it and both of us really like Cynthia. That's a key factor for both of us, because we don't want to bring in a stranger. Cynthia's also extremely good at her job."

"How do you know that?" Nicole asked.

Nick smiled. "Collin spoke to a Corporate Recruiter in Dallas and Cynthia has an excellent reputation in her field. She's apparently won several awards for producing business and several companies have been trying to steal her away from her current employer."

"Wow." Nicole took a sip of her wine. "I'm not sure how Cynthia will about you and Collin researching her."

"We didn't pry into her private life Nicole." Nick replied quickly. "The information the recruiter provided is all public information and it's the same type of evaluation a rival company would conduct to find a new employee." Nick shrugged. "Besides, we thought it was important that Cynthia understand were interested in her, because of her business acumen and professional performance. The fact that she's your girlfriend wasn't and isn't a relevant factor."

"I see." Nicole said quietly and sipped her wine in silence for a few minutes. "Do you want me to talk to her again?"

"No." Nick replied. "Cynthia agreed to have lunch with Collin and me, the next time she's in San Antonio. We'll talk to her about it then. I just wanted you to know what we were thinking. It would be great if we could get you both to run the Real Estate department. We could work out a salary for you and you could make your own schedule."

"We'll see honey." Nicole replied.

Nick stopped slicing and looked at his wife. "I love you."

Nicole looked at her husband. "I love you too honey." She glared at him playfully, before finishing her glass of wine. "I love you, but I also have a bone to pick with you. Why didn't you tell me about the vacation Cynthia was planning?"

"She told you?" Nick asked with a sly smile.

"Jerk." Nicole replied.

Nick scooped the onions into a separate bowl, then grabbed a beer from the refrigerator. He walked over and sat down next to Nicole.

"Honey. Cynthia asked me to keep it to myself, until she could talk to you about it. I wasn't comfortable at first, but she told me she'd ask you this weekend, so it wasn't like I kept the secret for several weeks." Nick tilted his beer bottle and took a sip. "Besides, I like and respect Cynthia, and your relationship with her."

Nicole smiled warmly at her husband.

Nick reached over and squeezed her hand gently. "It didn't seem like a big deal and you deserve a vacation. The girls will be at summer camp and I have to travel to Vegas during that week anyway, so you'll be here by yourself, if you don't go."

"So you're ok, if I go on vacation with Cynthia?" She asked.

"Yes." Nick replied. "Although will you answer a question for me?"

"Sure honey."

"Are you going to leave me for Cynthia?" Nick asked quietly. "I'm serious honey. I see how happy you and Cynthia are together." Nick sipped his beer again. "Just like with Collin, I worry that you'll be happier with someone else."

Nicole stared at her husband. It was obvious he was worried. Nick struggled with her relationship with Collin and now he was starting to struggle with her relationship with Cynthia. She reached over and touched her palm to his cheek.

"No." She replied softly. "I'm not going to leave you for Cynthia."

Relief cascaded through Nick's face and his entire body seemed to relax. "Good. I'm glad to hear that honey." He started to stand up, but Nicole reached out and stopped him.

"Nick. I'm not going to leave you for Cynthia, but I do want to be honest with you." She took a deep breath. "My feelings for Cynthia are growing. I don't know what that means, but I do know that I feel more for Cynthia than I ever did for Collin."

"Is that right?" Nick replied tightly. Tension creeped back into his body.

Nicole replied firmly. "Yes."

Nick's face grew pale. "Do you love her? Has she asked you to leave me?"

"I don't know if I love her Nick, but honestly, I think my feelings are headed in that direction." Nicole paused. "No. Cynthia has never, not once, asked me to leave you. She's never even hinted at it. I've also never told her that I love her."

Nick didn't respond for several, tense seconds, but eventually he nodded. "Ok. I guess that's a good thing. I'm not sure how I feel, but thank you for being honest with me."

<hr pg="4" />Nicole stood and refilled her wine glass. When she came back, she sat on Nick's lap. "Cynthia hasn't put any pressure on me at all Nick. She's happy and content with our relationship so far. I just wanted to be honest with you about how I feel."

"I appreciate that Nicole. I really do." He paused. "It's just that I agreed to you having a boyfriend, which wasn't easy, under the condition that you'd never leave me. When your relationship with Collin ended, I thought we were back to just you and I, but Cynthia remained in your life. Now it sounds like I may lose you again." Nick shrugged. "I guess I feel like an idiot for letting this whole thing get started in the first place."

Nicole kissed her husband softly. "I know this is hard on you Nick. I'm sorry. I didn't expect to have these feelings for Cynthia, or any woman, for that matter; but I do and I want to be honest with you about them. I'm as surprised as you are, about my relationship with her."

"Thank you Nicole, for being honest with me." He smiled. "Believe it or not, it helps me deal with it."

"I'll always be honest with you Nick." Nicole hugged him tightly. "I love you and I'm pretty sure I don't deserve you."

Nick hugged her back, but didn't reply, and after a few seconds, he got up to finish dinner. Nicole set the table. Half an hour later, they ate dinner as a family. It was great and Nicole realized how much she missed her girls when she was away with Cynthia.

<em>I miss my girls. I miss them terribly. Do I really miss Nick?</em>

Nicole's eyes found her husband. He was joking with April, while Jasmine looked on with a smile. Nick finished his joke and they all laughed together. Nick caught her staring at him. He gave her a warm smile, accompanied by a discreet wink.

<em>Yes. I miss him as well.</em>

<em>I love him.</em>

* * *

The next several weeks flew by for Nicole. It seemed there were a million details she needed to arrange for the girls, for Nick and for herself. The girls were all set and ready for summer camp. Their local church sponsored the summer camp. Jasmine and April had been attending the same camp for several years now and they loved it. The girls would spend a week at a ranch, riding horses, camping, sleeping in tents and attending bible study.

The day finally arrived. Nicole and Nick delivered the girls to church and went through a final check of their stuff. The girls had everything and then some. Nicole had triple checked the checklist of items and then added a few items of her own. The ranch didn't allow the kids to bring any electronic devices, even cell phones, so they were completely focused on the camp activities. The ranch had a computer system setup so that kids could email their parents once a day. That was it. Surprisingly, the system worked well and the kids were so busy, they didn't miss their electronic tethers. A few minutes later, Nick and Nicole waved to their girls as they rode away on the bus.

Nick's flight to Vegas was the same day and only a few hours after Jasmine and April's departure. Nicole had his contact information and the hotel where he'd be staying. There was a sports convention in Vegas for the entire week. Collin and Nick were using it as an opportunity to find new clients. It was a good opportunity for them and their growing company. An introvert by nature, Nick was still new to this type of networking, but he was getting more and more comfortable with it.

Nicole took him to the airport and walked him to the security line, before kissing him goodbye. She wished him well. Nick hugged her tightly.

"Have a good time with Cynthia honey." He said lightly. "Just remember to come home to your husband, please."

"Nick. Stop it." Nicole whispered in his ear. "I'll come home to you. I promise."

"Good. I'm going to hold you to it." He looked at her for a moment before adding. "I love you Nicole. Please remember that, when you're with Cynthia. You have a husband that loves you dearly."

"I love you too Nick. I won't forget. Now go kick some ass."

Nick laughed out loud. He joined the line of people waiting to go through airport security. Nicole waited until he passed through security. Nick waved to her one last time.

Nicole smiled at her husband and blew him a kiss.

* * *

Nicole barely kept from running back to her car. Excitement coursed through her body, as she slid behind the wheel of her Mercedes convertible. Nick bought it for her as a birthday gift and Nicole loved it. She smiled as she flicked the switch for the convertible top, because she couldn't resist putting the top down. She navigated the airport and short-term parking as quickly as possible.

A wide smile pasted itself on her face. It was a beautiful day, her girls were off to summer camp, her husband was off on his business trip and she was driving (speeding actually) to see her girlfriend.

<em>I don't care if I get pulled over for speeding. I can't wait to see Cyn</em>! Nicole thought as she kept the needle fixed on 80 mph. <em>I know</em>, <em>I'm acting like a teenager, but I can't help myself.</em>

The Mercedes SL500 purred happily as Nicole weaved through interstate traffic. She enjoyed the open road in her car. At first, she wasn't sure she wanted a convertible, but once she drove it with the top down, she was hooked. It was exhilarating and she loved it.

The finely tuned luxury car seemed to float over the highway. Nicole turned the radio up, sang along and let happiness and excitement fill her. She knew drivers were looking at her as she passed them, but she was beyond caring.

"Hi baby." Nicole exclaimed when Cynthia opened the door.

Nicole didn't give her girlfriend a chance to respond, before she threw herself at Cynthia. Nicole jumped up and wrapped her legs around Cynthia's waist. It was selfish and childish, but Nicole didn't care. At that moment, nothing meant more to her than being with Cynthia.

Fortunately, Cynthia didn't mind. She wrapped her arms tightly around Nicole and kicked the door closed at the same time. Their lips locked onto each other and their tongues hungrily explored their mouths.

Cynthia's scent. It was intoxicating. The light perfume she wore, mixed with the body lotion Nicole bought her, smelled amazing and it filled Nicole's nose deliciously. Her hands slipped behind Cynthia's neck and she let Cynthia carry her into the bedroom.

Nicole was barely aware of her clothes coming off. Her attention was focused like a laser beam on the beautiful body lying next to her. Soft, sensuous lips that she couldn't stop kissing. Perfect breasts that asked to be caressed and nipples that begged to be licked and nibbled. The two lovers were moaning loudly as their hands, fingers, and tongues covered each other's bodies.

Nicole and Cynthia descended into a warm, delicious, pool of lust and desire. They didn't emerge until they were both breathless, satisfied and deliriously happy.

"Hi." Cynthia said, after she caught her breath.

Nicole laughed softly. "Hi."

"I missed you."

"I missed you too."

Nicole lay on top of Cynthia, resting her head on her chest and enjoying the warm, satisfied feeling that enveloped her body. The heartbeat she loved to hear, echoed in her ear and she breathed deeply through her nose, inhaling the sweet scent of her lover. Cynthia's arms wrapped around her and Nicole couldn't imagine a more perfect place to exist at that moment.

Nicole felt Cynthia's fingers in her hair and closed her eyes.

* * *

Cynthia ran her fingers through Nicole's beautiful, thick black hair and smiled up at her sleeping lover. It had been almost a month, since they'd seen each other and she missed Nicole badly. When Nicole came through the door and jumped into her arms, Cynthia felt whole again. She felt completely and totally happy. She kissed the top of Nicole's head softly, enjoying the feel of her body lying on top of hers.

Love. Pure, unadulterated love surged within Cynthia and she tightened her arms around Nicole. Cynthia was still surprised at how fast and how far she had fallen for the petite, Latin woman. It was more than her body, which was amazing and constantly filled Cynthia with desire. Nicole's body was curvy, sensuous and her natural d-cup bust was absolutely tantalizing for Cynthia.

<em>Yes, her body is fantastic and I'll always want to get her naked</em>, Cynthia thought happily. <em>My own little Sofia Vergara, but it's her personality that really hooked me. Her quick wit, sense of humor and yes, even her feisty temper. Ugh! I love everything about this woman.</em>

Nicole woke a few minutes later. She sat up slowly and ran her fingers through her hair. Nicole's hand tucked her hair behind her ear and she smiled at Cynthia.

"Please don't ever stop smiling at me like that, Nikki." Cynthia whispered softly.

Nicole ran her fingers over Cynthia's stomach. "You make me happy. I'll always smile at you."

"Promise?"

"Yes."

Cynthia finally sat up as well. She leaned over and kissed Nicole once more. When the kiss finally ended, they both sat back and surveyed the bedroom. Their clothes were strewn everywhere. Blankets and sheets were lumped and bundled haphazardly. It was the kind of mess that followed really good sex. Nicole got up and started putting her clothes back on. Cynthia did the same, but only after checking out Nicole's naked body one more time.

"Do you need help with your luggage?" Cynthia asked.

"No. I've got it. Are we taking your car or mine to the airport tomorrow?"

"Can we take yours?" Cynthia asked. "Mine's been acting up lately and I need to take it in to get serviced."

"Sure." Nicole replied. She looked over at her girlfriend. "Any particular reason you're driving an 8 year old Honda Accord?"

"I know. I know." Cynthia replied quickly. "I need to trade it in, but I guess it's grown on me. I'm sentimentally attached to it, because it's the car I brought Jason home in. I've got lots of memories wrapped up in that 8 year old Honda."

Nicole put her hair up in a ponytail. "If you get around to trading it in, what car do you want next?"

"I'm not sure. I like your car. A lot, but it's out of my price range." Cynthia shrugged. "Probably another Honda. White this time, though, I'm sick of dark colors. White always looks clean."

Nicole nodded, made a mental note and slipped her tank top over her head. It was completely wrinkled, but she wasn't planning on wearing it out of Cynthia's house. A thought occurred to her.

"Jason's not here is he?" She asked quickly.

Cynthia laughed. "Of course not."

"Whew."

Nicole walked out to get her suitcase, while Cynthia went into her bedroom to get her own suitcase. It always took Cynthia a long time to pack and she wanted Nicole's advice on some of items. The sound of wheels rolling across wood floors announced Nicole's return. She wheeled her suitcase into the bedroom, wearing a mischievous smile on her face.

"Guess what?" Nicole asked as she heaved her suitcase onto Cynthia's bed.

Cynthia smiled at her. "What?"

Nicole unzipped her suitcase and threw back the cover with a flourish. "Ta da!"

"I don't get it." Cynthia said after looking at the contents of Nicole's suitcase. "I'm sorry."

"It's ok." Nicole replied. "I just wanted you to know that everything in that suitcase is new. I bought all of it specifically for this trip. You'll be the only person I'll wear these things for and you're the only person I want to see me in them. When we get back, I'm leaving them all here."

"Wow." Cynthia replied. "I don't know what to say. Thank you. That's so sweet of you." She paused. "I can't wait to see you wear everything." She gave Nicole a positively naughty smile. "I really can't wait to see you when these new clothes come off."

Nicole walked over and kissed Cynthia softly. "I'm all yours. You get me all to yourself, for the entire vacation."

Cynthia hugged her girlfriend tightly. "You are so awesome. I can't tell you how much this means to me, Nikki."

"It means a lot to me as well Cyn." Nicole replied.

"Good." Cynthia narrowed her eyes playfully. "Then you won't mind helping me pack." She walked into the closet.

Nicole laughed and followed her girlfriend into the closet, patting her ass along the way.

Cynthia managed to get packed.

Eventually.

Nicole sipped her wine and looked at Cynthia over the rim of her wine glass. "Is this our first fight?" She asked softly.

"No." Cynthia replied calmly. "We're not fighting. You just haven't given in yet."

"Bitch!" She glared playfully at Cynthia. "Why are you being so stubborn?"

"I'm not being stubborn." Cynthia replied quickly. "I suggested the vacation and I should be the one to pay for it."

"Baby. I feel uncomfortable with you paying for everything. You don't have to do it and I know this vacation can't be cheap." Nicole protested.

"You're worth it." Cynthia set her glass down. "Now just let it go. I'm going to spoil you. Accept it."

"Allowing me to pay for half, or at least pay for something, is still spoiling me Cyn." Nicole reached over and held her hand. "I have you in my life and we're going on vacation." She paused. "I'm spoiled enough honey. Let me pay for something."

"Nikki, I've already taken care of all the details." Cynthia replied with a sigh. "The plane tickets are purchased, our room is reserved and the resort is all-inclusive. There really is nothing left."

Nicole sipped her wine in silence for a several minutes. Cynthia refilled her wine glass and glanced over at her girlfriend. Nicole could tell Cynthia was hoping she'd say something soon.

"I didn't realize this would be an issue. Why does this bother you so much Nikki?"

Nicole sighed. "Because. It just does." She put her glass of wine on the table. "Cyn, I was born and raised in a poor, but proud, family. We were poor, but my parents were fiercely independent and they never accepted a hand-out. Never accepted any kind of government payment. One of the cardinal rules my parents ingrained in me is that you always pay your own way. You bring something to table. You never rely on the generosity of friends or strangers."

Cynthia watched Nicole carefully as she spoke.

"Situations like this vacation. Where you're paying for the entire vacation all by yourself, make me feel like I'm taking advantage of you." Nicole said earnestly. "I don't ever want to feel that way Cyn, especially not with you. You've given me so much already."

"I don't understand Nikki. This is the first thing I've bought for you except drinks or dinner." She shook her head. "What else have I given you?"

"Your love." Nicole replied simply. "A place in your life."

Cynthia's mouth dropped open and her eyes filled with tears. Nicole's eyes became watery as well as well. Their eyes met and held for a second, before they both erupted in embarrassed laughter. Cynthia recovered first.

"I'm sorry honey." She said. "I should have offered you the chance to pay for half of the vacation. It won't happen again."

"It's ok." Nicole sniffed and smiled at her lover. "Just promise that if anything else comes up, no matter what, you'll let me pay for it. No arguments, no excuses and no hurt feelings. Ok?"

"Deal." Cynthia replied happily.

* * *

"First Class! You upgraded us to First Class!" Cynthia sputtered at the airport ticket counter.

Nicole gave her a smile and wink. "Yes. It's weird, they had two extra seats in First Class and they're ours. I'm paying for the upgrade, now just accept it and let it go. You promised remember?"

Cynthia's mouth opened and an argument blossomed on her face. Whatever she was going to say died a quick death however, when Nicole narrowed her eyes at Cynthia.

"If you want to fight about it, let's fight!" Nicole said heatedly. "We'll create a big scene, probably get security over here, but your firm ass will still find itself in a first class seat! I've already paid for our upgrade to First Class. It's done."

"Bitch." Cynthia replied under her breath.

"That's what I said last night remember?" Nicole bit back. "Remember what you told me? Remember what you promised?"

"Yes. Dammit. Yes, I remember." Cynthia sighed. She accepted the ticket from the ticket agent, then looked down at her girlfriend. "What the hell am I going to do with you?"

Nicole accepted her ticket and thanked the ticket agent. She smiled up at her girlfriend. "I've got some ideas." She took Cynthia's hand and they walked towards the security line. "Want to hear them?"

Two hours later Cynthia slid into her seat in First Class, next to Nicole, and smiled over at her. "Ok, this is kind of nice." She admitted.

Nicole winked at her. "I'm glad you like it. You're not the only one who likes to spoil their girlfriend."

"I'm sorry." Cynthia apologized.

"It's ok." Nicole squeezed her hand. "Listen, let's relax a little. We're going to an amazing resort for 7 days. Just the two of us. Why don't we quit worrying about who pays for what and just enjoy each other's company."

"Sounds like a plan." Cynthia agreed and blew Nicole a kiss.

"Tell me about this resort. I've never been to a Club Med resort."

Cynthia smiled mischievously. "It's beautiful. It's right on the ocean of course and the water is so blue, you won't believe it."

"God, that sounds amazing." Nicole squealed and kicked her feet excitedly.

Cynthia smiled at her girlfriend's reaction. "They have a ton of activities, a gym, a spa and just about anything else. We can also take day trips if we want to see some pyramids and stuff."

"Stuff?" Nicole asked playfully.

"Yea. Stuff." Cynthia replied dumbly.

The airline stewardess came by and took their drink orders. She was cute. Cynthia winked at Nicole, when she walked by their aisle. Nicole wasn't amused and give Cynthia a quick pinch on the leg.

"Bitch, you better be focused on me for the next 7 days. I better not catch you flirting with any other women or men." Nicole whispered playfully.

"Nikki. I'm not interested in guys and you're the only woman for me."

The rest of the flight went quickly as they talked and giggled like teenagers. Excitement emanated from the two ladies and the other passengers in First Class couldn't help but smile at their happiness. They walked to the Taxi Stand, after deplaning and getting their bags. Nicole couldn't help but notice a lot of other people on their plane who were women. As they walked to the taxi stand, Nicole noticed a lot women that looked like they were traveling together, as a couple. Just like her and Cynthia.

"I guess this is a popular week to take a vacation." Nicole said absently.

"What was that Nikki?"

"Cyn." Nicole touched her arm. "Is it me or are there a lot of women waiting for taxis."

"Umm. I guess." Cynthia replied and shrugged. "I didn't notice.

Nicole looked around for a few more minutes before giving up on the mystery. "Huh."

Cynthia slyly kept an eye on Nicole. Her girlfriend finally noticed, how many women couples were waiting in line for a taxi. It was difficult, but she kept her face neutral. Nicole was in for a surprise and she didn't want to spoil it at the airport. Cynthia hid behind her aviator glasses and did her best to keep her face impassive.

A taxi finally came along and they managed to get their suitcases in the trunk and pile into the back seat. Nicole patted Cynthia's legs excitedly and kissed her cheek. The taxi driver's eyebrows rose when he saw their kiss, but Nicole and Cynthia couldn't have cared less. They were together. They were on vacation and they had an entire week to themselves.

"Yaaayy! We're finally here." Nicole said and bolted out of the Taxi. Cynthia laughed at her lover's excitement. Nicole was acting like a child and it was impossibly cute. Nicole's quick exit meant that Cynthia paid the taxi driver. She ignored his leer.

<hr pg="5" />Cynthia looked for Nicole and realize she was already inside, with their bags, and at the check-in counter.

<em>Wow, she's excited!</em>

Nicole spoke fluent, rapid-fire Spanish to the lady behind the counter. Nicole glanced back at Cynthia and gave her a quick smile. She knew her girlfriend didn't speak Spanish, so she had no idea what Nicole had just done.

"I'll take care of checking us in Cyn." Nicole said. She turned back to the hotel lady.

Cynthia leaned forward and whispered. "God, that's so sexy. I love to listen to you speak Spanish. I have no idea what you said, but it turned me on!"

The hotel staff person finished making their room keys. She smiled and winked at Nicole, before handing her two keys, then pointed out where their room was on a map.

"What was that all about?" Cynthia asked as they walked away. "You trying to pick up the help?"

"No." Nicole smiled up at her and shook her head. "I was just telling her how excited I was to finally be here."

"Ahh." Nicole couldn't resist taking Cynthia's hand and holding it gently while they walked. When they arrived at their room Cynthia was confused. Completely confused.

"Nikki, I don't think we're in the right spot." She said slowly.

Nicole slid the key in the lock and a green light appeared. "Yep. This is the right room." She looked back at her girlfriend. "You coming?" Nicole stepped in and looked around happily. Cynthia followed her in and gasped loudly.

"This is huge!" She made a slow 360, taking the entire room in and shaking her head. "This isn't the room I reserved, honey. This is a suite." Cynthia ducked into the separate bedroom and bathroom. She came back shaking her head. "We should go back and tell them."

"No. This is the right room." Nicole said primly. "I upgraded us to a full suite."

Cynthia turned to her lover and narrowed her eyes. Nicole laughed and clapped her hands.

"Remember what you promised!!!" She said with a twinkle in her eyes. "They had a last minute cancellation and a suite was available. I paid for it immediately and left my card for any incidentals." Nicole finished and looked over at Cynthia. "Please don't be mad."

"I'm not mad Nikki." She smiled widely at Nicole. "I'm happy. I'm in love and I'm in desperate need of a hug and a kiss."

Nicole flung herself into Cynthia's arms and kissed her lover softly, passionately. She loved the feel of her body and her scent.

<em>I love the way she smells. And tastes. And feels. And smells. Ahhhh...I love everything about her.</em>

Their kiss finally ended and they unpacked some of their clothes, putting them in drawers and hanging some of them up.

"Can we go tour the resort?" Nicole asked after they'd unpacked and freshened up.

"Sure. Now?"

"Yes, let's go. I can't wait." She skipped over to the door. "I want to see the beach and the blue ocean water you promised me!"

"Wow. Look at you." Cynthia said as she watched Nicole. "You're like a kid in a candy store."

"Is that bad?" Nicole asked quickly. "I know I'm supposed to act my age, but I'm just so excited. I'm sorry."

"It's fine." Cynthia laughed. "We're here to have fun and I'm happy, you're happy."

Their hands met as they exited their room and they walked hand-in-hand towards the lobby. They passed several groups and pairs of women in the hallways. All of them looked extremely happy. Nicole cocked an eyebrow as they walked.

<em>I don't see any men. I haven't seen any men since we arrived, even the hotel staff is all women.</em>

They entered the lobby. Nicole stopped and pulled Cynthia off to one side. She stared around the lobby and still didn't see a single male. Not one. Nicole looked over to see Cynthia smiling at her, laughter just behind her eyes.

"Cyn, why are their only women at this hotel?" Nicole asked slowly. "Is there a convention or something?" Nicole pointed at a banner hanging in the lobby. "Who the hell is Olivia?"

"I'm not sure honey." Cynthia managed to say without laughing.

Nicole rounded on her girlfriend and put her hands on her hips. "Out with it, bitch. What the hell is going on here? Who the hell is Olivia?"

The game was up. Cynthia finally surrendered to the laughter that had been threatening to choke her since they arrived. Nicole tried to act mad, but she saw her friend laughing and a smile grew, despite her best efforts to keep an angry look on her face.

"Nikki." Cynthia took a breath. "Olivia is the name of a Travel Agency or Travel Company. I'm not sure what the difference is, but essentially Olivia arranges cruises, resort travel and these super-cool Ultimate Escape vacations."

"Ok. That doesn't sound unusual." Nicole replied. "I don't get the joke."

"Nikki. Olivia focuses on a very specific clientele. Can you guess who their clientele is?"

Nicole surveyed the lobby again. "I don't get it." She said shaking her head. "All I see are women. Groups of women. Women couples. Women holding hands and kiss----." She spun around. "Holy shit! Is this a lesbian resort?"

Cynthia laughed again. When she stopped several seconds later, she pulled Nicole close. "It's not really a lesbian resort. Olivia works with the hotel to reserve certain weeks of the year, for their clients. So this week, the only guests here are women."

"Are you kidding me?" Nicole's expression grew thoughtful and serious. Too serious for Cynthia.

"No, I'm not kidding." Cynthia looked carefully at Nicole. "Nikki, is that ok?"

Nicole looked up at Cynthia. There was no humor in her expression.

"I'm surprised, Cyn. You deliberately hid that information from me. You purposely kept it secret, until we arrived and I couldn't change my mind."

"Ummm. Baby-."

Nicole held up a hand and silenced Cynthia.

"Just so I'm clear. You brought me to a resort, for an entire week, where the only guests are women. Lesbians. You knew ahead of time and you didn't tell me."

Cynthia's heart started beating faster. Fear surged through her. She responded quietly. "Yes."

"I'm bi-sexual and you specifically brought me to this resort, at this time. The only resort where there are no men. None."

"Yes. Nikki--."

Nicole held up her hand again.

Cynthia fell silent. She watched the woman she loved desperately, survey the lobby again.

Finally, Nicole turned back to her.
