What kind of problems do You have?
---

--
The moduls for player 1.0 will *NOT* run on player 3.0

WHERE TO PUT THE FILES:
place all these elements in one folder:
1.the engine (i.e.: SPOONTOONSplayer2.0(68k) for Mac or SPOON16.EXE for PC)
this file is different for different platforms

2.the player resource-file (SPLAYER2.DXR)
3.one or more modules (ie: DD1SPOON.dxr)

----LINGO.INI
**Cannot find LINGO.INI**

Some PCs can report a "Cannot find LINGO.INI" message at

startup even when the file is present. This can be caused by older

video drivers which improperly overwrite areas of memory. Fix

this problem by obtaining a updated video driver from the video

board manufacturer. In some cases a multimedia system shell

running on an under powered machine can cause the same

problem. In this case, use the regular Windows program manager

and disable background applications before starting.
Try putting an empty ASCII file (ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRITTEN IN IT) with the name LINGO.INI into the same directory as the .EXE file.
This helps in most cases.
---
OTHER PROBLEMS:
---TRY THIS:
Have You unzipped the modules and got "SPOONDD1.Dxr" or "SPOONDD2.Dxr" (modul 2)?
Have You placed them in the same directory as the spoon.exe , SPLAYER2.DXR and SPICN.CST (player 2 only)?
-----if You are using PLAYER 1.0:
Have You tried to remove the files the DD1SPICN.PCT and DD2SPICN.PCT ?
These are the icon files, some users experienced trouble with them.

Try renaming the files DD1SPOON.DIR into DD1SPOON.Dxr and DD2SPOON.DIR into DD2SPOON.Dxr,
does it work now?

Is there an error message?

Have You entered Your password EXACTLY as in the registration letter?
The password registration is CASE SENSITIVE.
Very few users using a certain microsoft-keyboard reported the @-key will not work when entering the e-mail address. E-mail us and we will give You a new password then.
-----
Opening .Zip-archives
If You have StuffIt-expander (downLoad from http://www.aladdinsys.com),
it should unzip the file if dragged on the icon (Mac) or opened out of the program (PC).
Otherwise: Try PKUnzip (PC, freeware), or ZipIt (shareware, Mac)

You can DownLoad the files at:
http://www.shareware.com
-----
A couple of things for your Mac clients...

the Zip files WILL not open with Stuffit Deluxe or Stuffit Expander
without "DropStuff Enhancer" available as shareware from Alladin.
(at least that is what a spoontako told us--- our own experience is, that expander 4.0 does the job)
