I understand that you extracted HH28+ from pdf files.

The resolution of your images @HH28 - 1700x956. Original resolution - 1280x720.

Therefore your images are not corrupted but DISTORTED

I got the original resolution using PDF Image Extraction Wizard. You can also use PDF Explorer. There are one open source application but for a person who is not familiar with creation of Windows scripts it would be a lot of headache.

The freeware - utility xpdf. I made a lot of experiments. All of other paid and free software returned distorted images. That's it
