My entire TG collection has taken 20 years to collect & organise & would be much bigger without using hardlinks, even so the two folders I use for all my TG stuff is huge by most standards
TFS (145 GB)
TG (1.37 TB) Files = 1,818,448 Files, 100,127 Folders.
Currently the TG Folder has 35 GB of emergency backup, I actually thought was deleted, when I logged in to be told they get removed from free accounts after 6 months, looks like there was just a delay in recovering the files, as now they show up.
Point is I'm going to be uploading my collection in chunks to that drive.
Plan is I provide I link to the folder, then change the content after a few days, maybe a week.
Not sure whether I'll archive them, probably but without a VPN to change your IP, mega has a 5GB download per day limit, so anything bigger nay need split archives, but you would need all of them to get any of the content.
Just make any requests & to be clear these are content dumps, you get everything if I use archives, but better to hide what is being shared, folders expose the account to the risk of deletion & having the legacy 50 GB is better than the 15 GB new accounts get.
So archives seems prudent, the point is to share as much as I can, with as little effort as I can spare.

UK law allows this BS, no choice given.
While I'm willing to "upload" all of it, the storage requirements are your real problem.
That much online hosting isn't free.
Torrenting requires me permanently seeding at that much slower upload rate, not really viable.
A direct link to upload my folder to your PC is only option & archiving the entire collection decreases the download size, but you need even more space to extract the contents from an archive.
Of course that requires some Trust, while I'm certainly skilled enough to gain control of your PC, I never would.
I've never done much online modding, I'm an expert on my PC which is hugely customized.
So the best option I can think of, holds great risk I have a VPN of course, we might be able to set up the link & keep IP addresses private, but this would all be new territory for me I'd need to research the best way for such a link.
The individual folders are obviously smaller, some are small, some huge, the organisation is mine, but logical with that evolving over time, so old content may not match my current system exactly,

BCTS - BigCloset Top Shelf is mostly TG content, written by & for people that are TG.
It's not porn focused, though it's present if you look for it, much more story focused though.
As for the content, it's source is the "Printed Version" of stories posted in chapters, which makes them into a single HTML File.
If only an ODT file exists, that's one I thought worth turning into an "eBook" & was written in LibreOffice for my own use on my Desktop PC.
ODT (Open Document Text) is an open source format, most eBook readers should be able to open them.
There are incomplete ones, but those will have the source HTML & Doppler Press is BCTS Publishing, just thought I uploaded that above.
I'll add it here, most of those eBooks are hardlinked to both folders & must be in the same Tar file to preserve the links
If you want both, use this version of Doppler Press & it won't take up so much storage.

This seems a good point to mention what is the difference between my renamed eBooks & the identically named PDFs in folders named "Uhuru" like.

All my files get renamed (if I make that effort at all), the ones named "Uhuru" are edited, usually adding missing covers, but when I first started using Calibre I tried reducing the margins to fit more words on a line, after some time, I decided just to fix bad covers & leave the content alone.
Sometimes I might manually edit the formatting (Often turning all caps titles to Proper case & adding better image resolutions in illustrated eBooks.
Many originals Stretch the image to fit the page size of text, which makes sense for physical books, but digital eBooks can have varying page sizes.
I get the best Cover Image I can find & will add alternate covers if author changes the cover, but not the content.
Simply make the cover page match the image size & no more stretching, no margins, it shows best in explorer, where if you use dark mode which I have done since XP (Born blind in one eye, the Blue white glare of default explorer was to much, I only started using Explorer when MS added the dark mode tabbed explorer. bought a lifetime license to "FreeCommander XE", it's old school & yet can see the virtual Folder made by Mod Organizer, that Explorer still can't see.
MO2 (64-bit version, needed for Fallout 4 & Skyrim SE), now includes explorer++, but that's not got dark mode, so I still have use for FC XE.
Most of the rest of the Collection is the stuff I collected on that Cover hunt & getting the names right, these eBooks are weird Cover Titles don't match the page titles.Naming format is tweaked for this Publisher

This will be posted, without the Attachments to begin with.
You need all 170 Split archives in one folder, I Use TG/A-Z, as shown in the spoiler, but my filenames are my main organising structure, can be long & detailed.
You wil extract the A-Z folder & if your default file manager (Windows Explorer) has issues, try the 7-Zip file manager (I do) or a better file manager (have one that sees virtual folders as well), but mostly Explorer is fine now it has "Dark Mode", just the odd long path that works for read actions, but can't edit or move.
You can workaround it another way if needed, just move the entire folder to the root folder, or just rename every folder into one letter.
All these workarounds & many others that I know exist & for virtually every task on a PC, there are many ways to achieve the end result.
You only need to find one that works, because when Windows says "That is impossible".
Windows means maybe, but not that way for you, though it worked for them before, so we blocked that later, bugger I suppose that works, but we never meant for you do do it that way, oh so there is an undocumented "Official" workaround usually for "Enterprise & backward compatibility, it will be there somewhere.
By the end of this conversation between me & windows, my PC now does what I demand, not what MS dictates.
So this will be posted first.
Then the plan is edit this to add the first batch of 60 attachments.
I'll need two more posts to provide all the files.
When that's done, what you need is of of free storage
A-Z.tar.7z.001 to A-Z.tar.7z.170 = Archive (41.4 GB)
A-Z.tar = Tar Archive (70.8 GB)
A-Z = Folder (78.9 GB)
To keep all the archives needs 200 GB,
Deleting the Split Archives once you have the Tar Archive extracted needs minimum 150 GB free storage.
So be patient uploading 41.4 GB of data is not going to be quick & until you get all 170 files the others are useless, even if you grab them ASAP

Please don't post inbetween the uploads it's a complicated process & something went wrong with the first upload, while I was eating my tea & making a brew

First one done, deleted a couple of out of order posts after adding the attachments a few times I made a new one accidentally
Oh must be able to add a maximum of 80 splits to a post, I'll have to "delete" Or move for now the first sixty to upload the next batch
Bugger not showing the other attachments, not as easy as I thought, I can put the 60 parts in a folder & split that to get the numbers under 80, which they must be to even select, but that way, no mass renumbering done, by me, or the downloaders.
I'll try that but, remember they must all be moved into the same folder to extract the contents
Uploads on pause, back to splitting archives again, damn silly site restriction that one I understand an 80 attachment post limit
It's using the file extension when an incrementing number, as the blocker is just dumb.

Lucky I moved some of the files in the chaos, uploaded nine, then deleted them thinking 7-Zip crashed.
I'd been moving the files around, to organise this redo & moved some of them, so I just have to restart the upload

This is my advice but the choice is yours
Your "TG" folder should be in the root drive, not on your C Drive, if you have a choice, I have many so I use. K:\TG
The first post contains, just put these in TG
A-Z.tar.7z.001 to A-Z.tar.7z.060
The second contains A-Z - PART 2 of 3.7z.001 to A-Z - PART 2 of 3.7z.060
That must be extracted first, giving the folder A-Z - PART 2 of 3
Rename that folder to "TG" & move to the same location, so for me K:\TG should now contain A-Z.tar.7z.001 to A-Z.tar.7z.120
This post is the last part A-Z - PART 3 of 3.7z.001 to A-Z - PART 3 of 3.7z.050
That must be extracted first, giving the folder A-Z - PART 3 of 3
Rename that folder to "TG" & move to the same location, so for me K:\TG should now contain A-Z.tar.7z.001 to A-Z.tar.7z.170

Sissy is tired & this is the first archive I've uploaded that has so many parts.
7-Zip started to extract it & it usually tells you if a files corrupted (during) upload.
If you are not confident you can do this if I just gave you the files, without any instructions, best wait for someone more confident to confirm the uploads can be extracted. Once uploaded I can extract my originals & having somebody do that for the downloaded version & confirm it matches my results will help speed up the double checking I'd usually do before uploads with smaller archives, this is the biggest one I have ever made.
If I've made a SNAFU, it will have to wait for tomorrow.
I keep getting told I'm "Amazing", right now I'm just old, far too tired (that's now constant), & last files uploaded.

I am sure if this string were not in the folders/files in question there would be no issue extracting those last 7 files, but I was wondering what the string is there for? Do I need to change a character setting in explorer or something to understand or to translate this correctly?

That's weird, I had no problems extracting anything & you certainly followed my instructions (Good pic choice showing me the files.
Maybe those super long ones & as for the garbled letters, oops that's a font choice
So my first approach to bug checking when I don't just say RTFM, is see what's different between our setups, focused on this but because I'm "Amazing" I will try to give answers for other users at the same time, that's why RTFM (Read The Fucking Manual) means, somebodies had that exact problem before.
So here I see two general issues Font & encoding selection, here's your offending character in my setup
Notice I use Unicode & though Arial exists by default it's the simple fact that "Arial Unicode MS" is the most complete set of the full Unicode Character Set.
Certainly on Windows, but as far as I know on Linux, like most things on my PC I choose the best tools for every task, once I find a tool that gives me full control of every option, it becomes one of my must have software components as I build my modded PC by modding almost everything.
I might use some tools for just one thing they allow me to do, that nothing else will.
Mostly I choose open source, as I can't argue with the price, most of the tools I buy I could use for free, but chose to pay for because it became essential when free, it's worth buying for certain.
So first your specific problem is just font selection so lets explore my "Downloads"

They are open source, should still be available online, I got them a very long time ago, not checked.
most fonts might have 1,2,3 in Superscripts, or subscripts, I get all these
As an example of why I only ever use this font, (Times New Roman for Story titles and another useful one that gives great text dividers
Bergamot Ornaments, I had provided these with my ODT uploads on 8muses, maybe here in another post (can't remember).
I'll attach both, though only the first one would impact Windows & it has to be chosen as the default Font Windows uses.
It can easily be renamed, I recommend "Advanced Renamer', I will cover that in the next post covering my basic must have PC management tools.
Everything I can do. can't be done on "Vanilla" Windows, but most of the work is just not using "default" Windows.
Most can be done without debloating Windows by Building your own ISO, you just use the tools you choose instead for that task.
The fact is almost everything on windows is controlled in the Registry, some changes have GUIs, to help, but that just changes the registry for you.
That is another entire rabbit hole of registry edits.
These might help with the 7 files you couldn't extract, it's what I suspect is the cause of that issue.

This is just an Off/On (0/1) switch which is as simple as a registry setting can be,
Note I downloaded this, because Windows will "Open" this in the Registry & ask if you want to "Merge" the contents.
This overwrites any registry setting in that file given in the correct format.
By posting the code, you can do this manually, just copy the "path" HK... (without the brackets) into the registry, or manually follow it as a folder structure.
Changing the wrong setting, can brick your PC, but somebody found the setting years ago, you just need to search & RTFM.
The internet will provide the answer without you ever asking for help.
Try both of those solutions & I'll wait for others to post their problems, while I think of the right tools for anybody to still use the ISO MS provides.
While making managing the system much easier & do things it appears you can't do, but actually can.
First thing is using a local offline account, something MS tries to stop, but can't actually force you to use.
That arms race has changed every time I fresh install a new build, but MS can't remove the feature, it's required in most businesses.

Oh and I did ahave long path names enabled already, so not sure what's up with that, but only 7/75k files is still good, and I think they might extract OK now that I have your font in my system.
Once installed things still look funny in my 3rd party compression utilities, WinRAR and 7zip, but now in the native windows compression tools, I can see your hyphen as a hyphen, so I am going to re-extract the tar using windows native compression tools and should be OK. I figure maybe some setting in rar & 7zip to correct the font but that isn't important since the win-native tool does the job
<EDIT: Seems I had an older version of 7ip (and prolly RAR too but have not checked yet). the new version of 7zip sees the funny hyphen with no problem, so I think I should be able to manage at this stage, though not sure about the @PathCut thing but since I dont see it in 7zip I won't extract it specifically like I would with the windows interface (which was running painfully slow so I bailed on it). The lesson learned here is to keep my tools up to date...>

@PathCut (absolutely no idea what that is to be honest, but you are showing in your pic your explorer browsing the Tar file
Last time I used Windows to see inside an archive was in XP & only for zips.
I can't see Tar files in the navigation pane Left like you show, but never open archives in Windows, doesn't seem possiible unless it's WinRAR?

I'm baffled because I selected only the A-Z folder & "@PathCut" is nothing I've seen in folders, never seen @ in a folder name, now that I think of it.
To be clear that folder does NOT come from the archive I can see, A-Z.Tar contains just the A-Z folder when I extract it.
I can upload the 7 Files you can't extract them, but try newest 7-Zip first, I'm not having the issue, (You are using the 64-bit version I assume?).
I'm not usually using TAR though, Wim gives better compression So for personal use that would be my choice.
On thinking longer (don't like "Baffled" for an answer), so here's an hypothesis, not a "Theory" (NOT baffled at all)
Only thing I can think of is it's a hidden folder & "@PathCut" is how 7-Zip "Preserves" HardLinks.
Maybe it actually just records the "Pathcut" & actually recreates the HardLinks using this hidden data.
AS my Explorer does not work that way, WinRAR is showing it, or my OS settings stop what yours does not.
That's all I got to possibly explain this anomaly.

OK not sure if anybody else has tried extracting this yet, but good you Updated 7-Zip , it's been 6 months since I checked.
One downside of using many "Good Old Tools" is they need manual updating.
I sort of work on the "See any problem", check for tool updates as one of the SOP steps
Any bug at all, turn PC off (Unplug from wall) for 30 seconds (Reason RAM doesn't " switch off", due to the read/write nature It's got "Batteries".)
These are actually a component called capacitors, that discharge that power if the constant supply drops.
A vital feature of DDR RAM, needed for technical reasons, but it can take about 10 seconds to drain & fully empty RAM.
A "Restart" will not fully drain that RAM, 30 second is my "Overkill" advice to ensure the entire RAM is cleared.
Literally 90% of all "Bugs" occur in RAM & a "Hard Shutdown" fixes all of those.
Repeatable bugs that restarts never fixed, must be the code, NO, NO, NO.
If it survives the 30 second test, you know it's NOT RAM, not what it is yet, that just setting the baseline, bugs are tricky buggers.
I've seen bugs that only occur when multiple programs are running., those can be tricky to figure out.
Apart from one thing, this has been a Textbook example, of getting good customer support, first you did RTFM & followed it.
You provided the best way to provide the file names to me in that pic, the information "Support" needed to see the problem.
My first guess proved correct, my only criticism, you should check for these tool updates periodically

You're asking for far too many problems, using old tools, that DO get updated & you really need to update them.
It's definitely the long paths thing & I'm not surprised to see "Bundles", I try to list the stories in the filename.
I've already put those files in a zip, they will work fine as eBooks, but to move them to their old folder, you do the opposite.
Move the entire folder to the root folder.
The trick is to make the shortest folder path, giving all the characters to the file name.
Renaming the folder to a single letter, is the limit to that
With long file in the folder, rename the folder back & move the folder back to original location.
You have now shown "Windows" that what you wanted is not as impossible as MS tells you it is.
It breaks functionality I don't need & if I ever need to change the filename I know how to do that.
I already packed those files you listed & no longer need, but I'll post it for others getting this problem.
On using Arial Unicode MS, that's for the complete character sets, as many Characters I use may not exist in other fonts, then there's character encoding.
Notepad ++ tells me if you are using the standard encoding I use.

Not old school Windows ANSI, not to mention UTF-8 BOM, UTF-16 BE BOM, UTF-16 LE BOM
All those can mess with the characters shown worse than the wrong font, Cut & paste from one to the other with same font you'll see the problems it causes.
Looks just like what happened with your case, going down to the real technical cause, is often just encoding mismatches.

There's a big space in the middle of the list, that is the WIP part, with dual panel setup, to transfer & compare text between two files is my setup.
I maximise Windows, 3 Screens= 3 windows, so (Browser, Game, Notepad++) might be the current layout.
For file managers (7-Zip) & text editor, I a dual horizontal panel works best for "Copy & Paste", I use a lot of different tools.

While the tools chosen are more important, it's the folder structure that holds the entire file system, in a way I can find it.
Some of these may only be needed once, or twice & then you must have it, because nothing else has that feature when you really need it.
Also these were my choices made using the RTFM problem solving method, to find what meets my need at that moment, I have not mentioned those ones.
These are just the ones that provided that need, constantly, or in those vital moments when a SNAFU occurs & you need to fix it immediately.
It's function first, preferences come when the functions provided by several options & that really means those functions you actually use.
You may prefer any option that fixes whatever the current task you need doing, these suit me best, they may not suit you best.
In that respect the functions I mention in the (Inline comments) are the real must haves that I chose these tools for.
