Looking for Don Silver thread Toxic Attraction chapters

Please don’t say, ā€˜These are just fantasies, not reality.’
I know that too, but I’d like to know what drives the authors to write only ā€˜cuckold stories’, where supposedly ā€˜ONLY’ the husband has this fantasy, and the wife goes along with his wishes and acts accordingly. Why does the wife have ā€˜SUCH’ fantasies and allow herself to be treated as he pleases, whilst letting her husband fulfil her fantasy with fucking other women?
Because they want to write "cautionary tales" of what happens to "Beta husbands".

Or,
it is also possible that these authors (many of them) lack self-confidence and do not play a significant role in their private lives.
They may be dominated and controlled by their wives. They therefore write such stories in order to find a male readership who share the same characteristics.
In this way, they no longer feel alone and can thereby justify their submissiveness to themselves.

Sounds like an attempt to vilify the writers.

Especially since the ones who ARE married usually go out of their way to say that the characters do not resemble their real lives at all and are just fictional.

Some claim that the stories are "based on a true story", but they're the rarities.

Dude, it didn't "turn into a super genius is the bull" story. That's what it clearly was from the second chapter forward. Objectively, you do realize that if this were put to a vote I would have the overwhelming majority of votes agreeing this is what it always was, no bait and switch, other than what you individually bring into it by not really reading the story or the story descriptors which are included to avoid exactly this sort of dissonance based complaint...or upon realizing that Don Silver is the EL James of contemporary cuck/hot wife stuff, you then decide "Well, I guess now that DS is experiencing the highest level of commercial success possible for a guy who writes online kink smut under an assumed name, I reckon he will go ahead and wrap it up as quickly as possible in a way which satisfies my personal prerogative within that fictional context"šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ Also, the reason that you are still actively reading it and engaging in public discussion about it is because "you're stubborn"? Seriously?
I think you got your wires crossed or something. The post of mine that you replied to wasn't talking about TA at all. I never said it was a bait and switch. I said I enjoyed it early on because I had never read a story like it before. The point about stubbornness is because the story has become boring. I think that if you put it to a vote, people would say they are tired reading scenes of Sarah and Lester fucking twice per chapter over and over again. It's monotonous.

I would like to emphasise that it is not my intention to defame anyone. My aim is to spark an active discussion and, as part of a brainstorming exercise, to explore some of the reasons that lead almost all authors to write this sort of ā€˜cuckold story’.
I do not believe that money alone should be the motivation.

What is your view on this?

I really liked Chapter 25; it was very steamy (Tom is going to lose Jess to Bob). There are situations where the husband is just really stupid. I wonder if, deep down—perhaps due to the financial loss—he wanted to separate but felt guilty; maybe he wants to end the marriage but lacks the guts to do it himself, so he wants to hand his wife over to another man without appearing to be the one at fault. Jess’s message to Tom at the end was meant to mess with his head (on top of the lies). The downside of opening up a relationship—or having a wife who sleeps with many other men—is that...

What do you think – will Sarah confront her mother (Renee)?
Will she ask where she spent the night before she came home?
Will she ask her who she cheated on her father (James) with, and how often?
Will Renee then tell the truth?
If so, how will Sarah react – particularly to the realisation - that the second woman in the room was her own mother (Renee)?
Or will Mr Don Silver simply pick up where he left off, namely by ignoring the conversation between mother and daughter and not addressing it?
It would be interesting to know what you think about this.

I find it strange that these stories ā€˜only’ feature men with cuckolding fantasies.
Why not women as well?
The woman is given a ā€˜halo’ and portrayed as untouchable; she can do whatever takes her fancy.
She can go whoring about, have sex with anyone she thinks has a big cock, boss her husband about as she pleases, humiliate him, betray him, lie to him and do absolutely anything imaginable to him.
And then it’s portrayed as though the husband finds all of this ā€˜absolutely brilliant and arousing’, and the greater the humiliation, the more mind-blowing his orgasms are when he’s masturbating.

However, if he makes a mistake (like Dan in TA, after sleeping with Trisha, his work colleague), the wife goes ballistic, shouts at him, calls him a cheater, then packs her bags and goes to her fuck buddy to spend the night with him, etc.

What on earth is that for a load of rubbish logic!

I don’t know a single man in my circle who would put up with something like that.
So I’ll take the liberty of asking the question again: how does this unbalanced dynamic come about, where the wife is the ā€˜top’ and the husband the ā€˜bottom’?

Please don’t say, ā€˜These are just fantasies, not reality.’

From what I read on forums dedicated to the cuckold lifestyle, it is usually the man who first develops the fantasy and the desire for it to actually happen.

There are many different levels to this lifestyle; some people only scratch the surface, while others have much more intense desires. The human mind is a mystery, and some people harbor desires that seem incomprehensible to others.

I’ve seen interviews with men and women who have consenting slaves—people who enjoy being put on a dog leash, having orders barked at them, and so on. There is also a practice where a man plays the baby while a woman takes on the role of "Mommy" and cares for him as if he were an infant...

So, there are countless fantasies out there, and within the cuckold lifestyle, some men enjoy being dominated, bossed around, or humiliated...

And if you don't know anyone in your social circle who engages in this, that’s perfectly normal; even though people do practice these kinds of things, it is highly likely that they keep it very private.

At this point who gives a shit. We all know the story want progress, it'll stay at this rhythm to drag shit out. Because they're guys willing to give $35 a pop to essentially read a nowhere going story.

Because they want to write "cautionary tales" of what happens to "Beta husbands".
No they all write the same story, where the husband always tells his wife that even if she my think she went to far or she might even have some reservations about some things that are happening he just tells her how that most he's ever been turned on and how sexy she looks doing it. Then the usual troupes follow like wife lying, then goin behind husband's back. By then the wife is prolly being shared by her lover and his friends and what little the husband does know about he is all the more happier when they let him act involved. It's really sad that nobody can really brake away from this mold. I thought that Vivian author was goin somewhere with her writings but she seemed to have flaked out. Can't seem to finish her series, and the ones she did seem unfinished some how.

100%
45 chapters??? With several parallel stories that lead nowhere, and if you erase them from the text, you can easily find a better solution for the continuation of the story.
And, worse, charging a lot for every single chapter.
