Funny thing.
With version Word (2016?) they got rid of all the icon based functions for the various tabs.
In the previous version, you could create your own icons and assign functions to them. So I did for a bunch of stuff I used a lot.
Turns out, those were stored in the normal.dot file, and I imported my normal.dot to the new version, primarily to get all the custom styles I'd created.
Low and behold, a "plug ins" tab appeared in Word and all my custom icons were there.

Huhnn??? I thought Microsoft developed their hatred of backwards capability WAY earlier than that.

Microsoft has been very anti-consumer in many ways since it's inception. Some developers had a replacement for DOS out there, and so they had a bit of code in Windows 3.1 to detect if you were running MS-DOS or not. It would then complain to you that it might have compatibility problems (nevermind it worked probably BETTER with it than MS-DOS since it was a better product).
Besides trying to convince you that all your hardware is incompatible with newer windows and software you have to rebuy every 3 years... or just go ad and subscription model, along with full spyware...

Anybody got a solution to the binary links on kemono not working problem? I know I'm not alone but not sure if everybody runs into this. For example here's a Becca Bellamy audio story:

If I click on the link under Downloads I get:
Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG
Tried VPN (NordVPN anyway), Chrome, Edge, Firefox, clearing cookies, changing the link to http from https (doesn't stick), etc. Nothing works for me. Haven't seen a solution on reddit or anywhere.

I have an actual Patreon account and subscribe to a few things, not sure if that matters. I generally use a different browser not logged into Patreon to use Kemono...
