Kemono has an importers' backlog problem

Guys, this may be minor, but i think i figured out why most Patreon files, like those from tgtrinty, tgednatthan, and the rest, have been slowly uploaded into Kemono and it's that kemono has an importers' backlog problem in their site and i have the screenshot as proof

and the site tries to keep on restarting the job, but it keeps on having the same problem, so it likely seems to me the Patreon part of Kemono will have a permanent problem and will likely no longer work, leaving only the Fanbox one instead.

And it leaves us to wonder if someone will make a new Patreon and even a SubscribeStar scraper to extract things from the Patreon and SubscribeStar they join into a different site instead of Kemono. If the problem continues, what do you think?

Well, it is an interesting bit of info, but the fact is that not all the Patreon imports are stalled. If you check the latest updated page on Kemono, at https://kemono.cr/artists/updated , you can see that there are plenty of Patreon pages being updated. So, it might not be as dire as you think. My personal theory for any artist who is not being updated is that nobody has uploaded a subscriber token for that artist in a long time.

Hmmm, curious still it still doesnt make me understand why the imports keep getting backlogged maybe you can check and do it by youself by importing the others like

Kemono does not have a magic way of bypassing the Patreon paywall.
It depends on *paying subscribers* of each Patreon channel uploading their authorization tokens to Kemono.
Using those tokens, Kemono proceeds to back up the Patreon channel.
After a while, though, those tokens expire and the backups stop.
Until someone uploads a new (valid) token, the backups for that channel will remain stopped.

Or to put it another way: in order for Kemono to back up TGTrinity's channel, someone needs to subscribe to TGTrinity on Patreon and share their permission with Kemono. Without that, Kemono cannot access TGTrinity's channel. Each channel requires a separate permission, that's why some channels are updating and others aren't.

That explains it and I thought they would do it secretly , so in order to extract from Patreon to kemono , we need a new (valid) token, as you claimed, but how will you do that and besides i only do this for once to scrape only that it was backlogged.
