Lol, these two pages are literally so identical. On the left side, Lisa is regretting her recent actions and thinking about John, while on the right she's lamenting the temptation and how much she thinks about the boys.

Why do we need these little regret monologues when we already had the entire chapter 12 dedicated to Lisa realizing how wrong what she was doing was? And that whole chapter ended up feeling pointless because by the end of Chapter 13 and beginning of chapter 14 she immediately gave in again when she saw Lucas, only for her to regret that also here.

At this point I'm wondering if this is just going to become a repeating cycle of Lisa “slips” → regrets it → thinks about John → gets tempted again → “slips” again.

I don't mind Lisa being conflicted, but I feel like we've already established that conflict several times. At some point I'd like to see the story actually do something with it. Either Lisa genuinely decides to stop, accepts that she wants this and chooses it knowingly, or the story finally lets her face some consequences.

Otherwise these regret scenes start feeling less like character development and more like a reset button before the next temptation scene, which isn't far, seeing the cover of the chapter of her and Josh.

We have three character, and If the story abruptly ends like Mynkx's other comics, where nobody finds out about the wives's affairs, I think it would hurt the story narratively. Mynkx created this whole setup where Lisa constantly regrets her actions but keeps getting overwhelmed by temptation, to the point that she starts degrading her husband and practically forgetting about her son.

Between Rose, Carol, and Lisa, I think at least one of them needs a consequence ending, and Lisa is easily the best choice. From Chapter 1 all the way to Chapter 15, she's been the central character. We've followed her actions, thoughts, regrets, rationalizations, and repeated failures to stop.

I understand that a lot of people are here for the taboo premise, but there's still a story surrounding that premise. The narrative shouldn't exist solely to keep the fetish going. The taboo and the characters should be parts of a larger plot, where the story follows the consequences of their choices instead of constantly giving them a handicap whenever those consequences would interfere with the fetish. Maybe I'm the odd man out for reading it this way, but after fifteen chapters, I think the story itself has created the expectation that all of this should eventually lead somewhere.

I agree with you. That's actually why I'm considering subscribing to Mynkx so I can message him and see if he'll give me even a vague hint about what kind of ending he's planning, especially whether there will be any real consequences. If he straight-up says there won't be, I might honestly drop the comic, and probably his content in general.

Lisa is becoming unbearable for me to read because I think she's so badly written as a mom, wife, and friend, and as a character in general. She honestly gets more characterization as the boys' sexual outlet than she does as any of these roles.

At this point, she feels more like a convenience than a character; a walking premise than an actual person. At first she's “Nathan's mom,” which establishes the taboo, and she's also the plot device that brings Carol and Rose into the boys' orbit because both of them discover what she's been doing, then nothing, she is just hanging around as this character the boys can just touch and grab even when she said she doesn't want to cross that boundary/

Things happen to Lisa and she reacts to them, but that's basically the extent of her characterization. Her experiences never seem to build into anything. She doesn't become more self-aware, learn from her mistakes, get smarter about the boys, or develop stronger boundaries.

If fifteen chapters of experiences still aren't enough for Lisa to develop the self-awareness or resolve to change her behavior, then let John and Nathan find out. At least external consequences would finally force her character into a situation she can't escape through another regretful monologue and another promise that immediately collapses.
