He is the true monster of the story and a character who has become essential to the plot. I've always liked him from the start; in FS, he doesn't bring much that's original, but in LF... even with brief appearances, he is a central character.

And it seems this is really just the beginning... Johnson is already thinking about even darker projects and reportedly even needs people to bring them to fruition. Above all else, he wants to earn even more money !!

I admit that, personally, I prefer Cynthia to remain the one and only central character of this publication—and of what she endures. Along with Johnson, of course ; I’m deeply interested in him, given how utterly devoid of scruples and morals the character turns out to be. :devilish:
