CHAPTER 1
On the surface, the Rizzis seem like a quiet Italian-American family: Roberto, the father; Alessandra, an efficient corporate secretary; and their two children, Dario and Martina. But beneath this orderly facade, every member of the household harbors obsessions, misunderstandings, and double lives that threaten to shatter their certainties.
