Short ripping how tos for various sites

To pull videos off OnlyFans (and many other sites, though it does fail occasionally):

Install the Video DownloadHelper extension: (here's the link for the Firefox one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/).
Go to the site in question. Hit play on the video. Click the little three colored balls icon in the toolbar and click download on what looks like the best choice.
Once downloaded click the three balls icon again and click the folder icon to open the folder where the video is.

Occasionally the icon won't light up in color or will stop updating with new videos. Rick click it and choose "Manage Extension". Click off then on to re-enable. Refresh the page in question. Should work again.

BTW one of the options VDW offers is a "Copy URL" feature. If VDW doesn't work, sometimes a straight Copy URL then a paste into a new tab will produce a playable video you can save. If its a .VID try opening it with VLC. Probably will work. If not, pasting that URL into other video download sites often works when the straight paste of the original URL doesn't.

If VDH doesn't work there are lots of sites that will download videos. For these you'll need a URL. If one isn't obvious you can use VDH to get a URL. Different download sites work better or worse over time and for different sites. But for now my favorite is probably:

Buy/borrow your kindle book on Amazon. Run the Kindle for PC app. Refresh if need be (top icon bar). Right click on your book and pick download. Wait until the checkbox appears. Now open ePubor. Click on Kindle directory on the left. You may have to switch away and back to refresh. Locate your book. Drag it over to the right hand screen. Wait till its decoded. Then click the folder icon in the bottom right. There will be an ePub for your book in that directory. Double click it to load it into calibre and do whatever you like at that point.

Lots of solid audio porn on reddit r/gonewildaudio. Find what you're interested in using https://gwasi.com/ which covers a few other groups that are similar (narrative, sapphic, etc) then once you're on soundgasm:

In Firefox do ctrl+shift+I. This will open up the programmer's subwindow at the bottom. Make sure the "Inspector" tab is selected on the left. It should be by default. Type in "m4a" into the search box below and hit enter. It will bring up a link to the actual audio file. Hover the mouse over the URL following "src=" and select "Open Link in New Tab". The audio file will open in a new tab. Right click on it and you can save the audio wherever you like.

I'm not aware of a good way to do this. The download sites I've tried don't work. VDH doesn't work. My current solution is to use EaseUS RecExperts program (yes it costs money) to record the audio as it plays. Which means letting it play for the entire length of the audio. Sucks but what are you gonna do? I see there's a solution on github but haven't tried it. I guess the filename is encoded so you need some code to extract it. Hopefully somebody comes adds this to an existing downloader or whatever. The good news is there's not that much on hotaudio so you don't have to do this a lot. Compared to the amount coming out on reddit its miniscule. But anyways...

Configure the audio recording to only capture audio from the computer, not the camera or mic, click Audio. Click Record. If you want click on the auto-stop option and set it (only doable as multiples of minutes, trim after if you want). When done the file will appear at the bottom. Right click. Export. Set the directory and the filename. Wait a while.

For some reason these don't work with Firefox using Video DownloadHelper. But they DO work with VDH in Chrome. So whatever, use Chrome.
