[Pete Andrews aka xleglover] Hotwife

Thank you solas for trying!

yano2mch, don't try to convert it. It seems too much work, after all we can still read the book.

Also, someone might post the "regular" epub or mobi file in the future.

A high resolution capture results in very clean OCR output for the most part. Minus the images and formatting.
Looking at the output i see the upper and lower halves of the pages are separated, likely so infinite scrolling pages or lazy pages can load only what it needs. Other than merging those... and removing extra from the end, basically the last 40 pages of sneak peeks and interviews...

Here's the stage 1, which includes pages OCR'd in a zip file in case you wanted it, and optimizes the images to be.... less egregiously big (5Mb vs 35Mb). Otherwise it's still an imgbook.

Son's Black Friend Stole My Wife (in OCR thread)

If we come across the original and i don't need to convert this then great. And if anyone needs it sooner i'll move it to the top of my todo list. Otherwise, it's there.

OK, I took yano2mch's epub, converted it to PDF using Calibre, then converted to Word using PDFGear.

That resulted with a document with no formatting (italicized, bolded, etc.) and none of the graphic icons used as separators.

I edited that Word file, and grabbed the icons from another of Pete's books.

I think I got all the italicization and bolding from the original PDF.

It doesn't have the interview, since that was not in yano2mch's epub.

I tried to OCR the original PDF to get that part, but the Word document was butchered by PDFGear.

I had a zip file (incorporated in the epubs with _imgbook in my mega and pages) called ocr.zip which included OCR of all pages, and a combined text file for the whole thing i use when i'm working on it. So i don't see why you did the roundabout method.

If you wanted the interview the original PDF or i can provide it with the OCR. The big difference of mine and the original PDF was i did heavy compression and conversion (greyscale, and 8-16 colors as png) to shrink each page to about 50k each rather than 300k each. Though you say you got garbage/butchered... curious...

I tried to OCR the original PDF to get that part, but the Word document was butchered by PDFGear.

Mhmm... Part of the butchering is the split pages no doubt. If you'd said you wanted those pages too i'd have rebuilt them for you. If they hadn't asked me not to do it, i'd have probably done what you did, other than i was breaking after finishing the last batch of books.

But glancing at it, it looks really good :) Probably about what i would have done. I'd probably add indentation in the css, but otherwise it looks great.

Though the cap first few words i wonder if those were suppose to be dropcaps... but doesn't show up in the pdf either. Don't know...

Here's the OCR of pages 108-140 (what i chopped out). Should be 95% there, if you wanted to rebuild the book completely. Other than a few default filters (pipe | converted to I for example) it's basically untouched.

edit: With tank girl's epub this is no longer necessary...

Regarding the indentation for the start of paragraphs, the style guide I've used in 40+ years of writing documents at work says not to do that, so I've built all my Styles in Word that way.

The reason I don't do that for work, is I'm an engineer and write a lot of technical documents (procedures, manuals, training material, etc.)

The Heading Styles are all numbered, and the Headings indent for each level to left align the # with the paragraph text that follows the Heading.

This keeps all paragraphs for a certain Heading level all aligned the same, and makes it easier to visually follow what "section" one is in for a given bit of the text.

Indenting the first line of a paragraph breaks the visual alignment to some extent, so we don't do it.

Yeah, but otherwise you can easily get walls of text, and following line to line paragraph to paragraph can get annoying. And giving a little margin from the sides; But whatever works.

Wow, I guess I didn't go far enough back? I clicked back to 2020 or so based on the note he posted in what was apparently 2023 saying he was pulling stuff and going to sell on Amazon. But yeah I only see the first of the two books I've found regarding Fall From Grace. Lemme look forward from there maybe.

Looks like its not there. I'm unclear how to pull up his stories on the other site, I guess ourhotwives.org? Via the wayback machine? Can you give me a link or tell me how to find it? I click search on xleglover and just get not results.

Which story or chapter are you looking for?
I think I remember at some point he stopped posting on Literotica and started posting only on ourhotwives.
I don't think all of his work on ourhotwives has been archived, but you may be able to find some of it.

Well I was specifically looking for the original Faithfull Wife's Fall From Grace. The first two books, encompassing six chapters, have been posted here. But supposedly it goes on past where we are in the Amazon series which is currently at book nine. Now I was re-reading "Life After We" and its obviously a variation of the same story, just different beats. I'm not certain the original series of FFG went past chapter 6. Its mostly similar writing, same characters, though I'll say the Amazon story is better but not by a lot.

I only found the first three chapters for a total of just over 12k words

Don't know if forums get backed up by wayback, they change so often that it would eat up a lot of storage.

Yeah same. I have a book one (ch 1-3) and a "book two" but it picks up at a different spot. Looks like the second is just some early version of book 2 of the Amazon series, which picks up at the same spot. I think I'll just stick with the original stories with the same characters:

He Fucked My Girl
All in My Head
Making It Work
Consequences
Life After We
Cheating and Rivals

As I say the stories are different though they involve the same characters in similar settings. I think both are interesting and well written. Reading additional Jen/Mike stuff calmed my anxiety over the new book series and the possible happy ending not being the real ending etc. But we'll see. Some of Pete's books are garbage, but some of them are really good...

FYI Regarding Husband's Fantasy Backfires (4 books) - I won't be posting it. I looked at book 4 and they've got "Jess" fat and hooked on heroin and slutting herself out for her pimp, etc etc. Not of interest to me.

I talked to someone that was a big expert on his stories, can't remember who that was. A bunch of the stories in an alternate universe or redone version. (that's him or robertl?) Something like that. 🤷‍♂️

xleglover says it right here too
Author's note: This is a Jen/Mike story in an alternative universe from the "He Fucked My Girl" to "Cheating and Rivals" series.
