Bruh, if you tell Melissa to do high effort, the series might take 4-5 years to even complete lol. So even though this is low effort, at least we all know this ain't gonna take 1000 years to finish.
 
It's just boring. It's always the same "WhY iS tHiS hApPeNiNg tO mE?" instead of giving the characters actual arcs. I know that she's probably making these to appeal to guys who dehumanize and fetishize trans women and femininity in general and have otherwise zero appreciation for skill and talent, but goddamn, they'll jack off to anything, so at least make the story more than just the written equivalent of cotton candy.

Melissa’s been experimenting with an actual plot in Aphrodites Mirror, and that story has just been spinning its wheels for 4 years in my opinion. Having short stories that are lean on characterization and heavy on the transformation aspect are a welcome change of pace considering that the longer stories that Melissa composed are just overwrought, middling, experiments.

Earlier I was regular reader for Aphrodite mirror, I was waiting for each update. But now story has become so complex and confusing, I stopped it.
Maybe it's my personal opinion I think he is just dragging the story he should concluded it earlier.
I prefer Hanna23, C black they do long story but it has a good closure to it

she has no motivation for this. she successfully did this at the very beginning, earning meager earnings, but now I think there is simply no motivation and it's not about fetishistic guys.

It will take more than 1 year to finish the story. Aphrodite's Mirror and A Kpop Idol new pages is released once a month while A Bestie in the Making is twice a month.

Also the story of Aphrodite's Mirror became boring after Chapter 23. The succeeding chapters are full of bloated conversations.

I don't know how long ago Melissa'n started the comic.
But I lost interest ages ago.
These stories drag on for so long, I don't even consider reading them until they're finished.

Just my opinion, I hope no one gets upset.
 
Aphrodites mirror has been a tough one for me lol, I'm not really complaining because I fully support an artist in doing the story they want to and if I'm not interested then I'll go somewhere else - no hard feelings. However, it has been rough since after I think the third post I thought "ah well this one isn't for me, but I enjoy melissan so I'll be back when she moves on"....it's been a long time man, and I don't even enjoy a k pop idol. Again, I'm not saying she shouldn't have done this story as I've enjoyed other artists on the mean time but after 3 years or so now of popping back I'm starting to really just want it to end since it doesn't even seem like the fans of the story are loving how long it is

It's long and its no good at all.... at least for me it's just a matter of knowing how it ends bur I've been really disappointed and I don't think any kind of ending would change that for me

So, I hope that afterbsll this long wait you're not as disappointed
