To me, none of these characters seem pathetic or disgusting. If that's what my story conveys, then I've failed.
Others obviously feel differently but I think your use of characters who approach normal is quite ok and makes the story more believable. The focus here is on Lucy and the story is a good one.

Bro One friendly suggestion(its upto u if it insterests u):- you could show the intimate scene more detailed like showing the penetration and penetrating scene from side as well as the front. Also showing the penis and pussy a little too.

I can't give you a specific date. I'm developing the story gradually. Some scenes are quick to develop, while others are a bit more complicated.
