Because it's low resolution, very low, and hard to see even on a smartphone. You're probably confusing me with someone else (it's just me, not us), because I'm not one to complain about EVERYTHING, but a rendered size of 320 × 184 px is really bad.

If we wanted to animate every single photo in the entire friends series, it would cost a little over $1000USD roughly. I thought about it until I realized how much it would cost lol.
