Well they have said that they will revert back after their summer appointment is over so perhaps this just takes that option away.

excuse, he did lead the others on that he was interested in a full gender change, not just the appearance of it (no matter what his real intentions were) so they only advise the medical staff of how they feel his treatment should be, plus he stated to his doctor that he couldn't wait for the surgery she was suggesting, so now unconscious, and she is his doctor, so she obviously advises to do all procedures at once while he's being operated on.
Teach him to tell fibs.
Also go back to earlier in the story, in same bar, someone placed their hand on his leg with a 'suggestion' which he rejected, its the same bloke who spiked the drink doing payback for that earlier rejection - he did state at that time that 'one way or another I'm going to get a piece of that' (Panel 361) and its the same head and haircut

I think there is a 0% chance that CBlack has her give specific answers to her primary care doctor about her (fake) transition goals, immediately place her in a most likely debilitating car accident, and then it turns out to be a red herring instead of an inciting incident for irreversible surgeries. I also doubt there will be much handwringing by Robin about the outcome because these protags never seem too bent out of shape.

well i guessed that right though its hard to imagine that only the testes would be injured unless they were badly bruised or crushed

I agree, but a person who identifies as a man, has male genitalia, even with part of those removed, is the gender he decides he is and at this time he identifies as a man, up to the point where medically he/she is physically female and identifies as a female. I am not arguing or debating the beleif of gender, I am referring to the character in this storyline, along with his decisions and beliefs to date.
This is not a character confused in regard to the gender they are, or believe they are, nor actively seeking to change their gender, mentally or physically. This is a character that was cross dressing as a method of seeking financial and educational advantage only - circumstance may change with future developments

Ok, a two bob opinion
I'm on the fence on this latest serial of the story, mainly because it seems like a rush job to reach the destination sooner than later. Yes, the procedures are what you expect in a story like this, but after exactly 480 pages, of gradual acceleration, its like someone trying to turbocharge the story at this point to get it out the way. Has there been periods of filler, yes, but not overly, the story has a good flow up to now and its now like its going over a waterfall, everything happening at once. The only thing missing being mentioned in the twenty pages just posted is a boob job. I can only hope if this story is stretched out to double the size it is currently sits at, they don't spend excessive frames on people talking about "where's Stillman ?" IT feels like they want to finish the story within 500- 600 frames.
Whats left ? a male romance, revealing he/she was Stillman and arrest of the real culprit. End of story as all that can be wrapped up in one hundred frames.
One thing I did find in the latest post, which somehow indicates rushing as well as seeing some thought being put into it, is the design of the hair on the hospital pillow. It isn't the usual head wrapped in bandages to hide the standard hairdo, its more realistic, but at the same time could have been designed better. It sits on the head like a wig, no visible attachment to the figurine. The hospital hair has a fringe and has a visible center part setting, the uninjured character had no fringe (long hair) and a side part
