It's possible, I told you all a while ago that Mynkx had started down a path with some stories that inevitably leads to some kind of incestuous content; in "Under a Christmas Spring" it was already totally obvious and the allusions in Cafe Folies foreshadow some kind of incestuous encounter (I hope it happens).

I really like Mynkx's art and the overall premise of the story, but he really needs to work on the dialogues because you can't understand what the characters actually believe in. Like they say one thing, and then go back on it and say something that contradicts that. Carol says she understands why Lisa cheated on John because he was always away (not even a good reason to cheat on your spouse of 19 years but whatever) and in the next sentence she calls Lisa "whore". Her and Rose have been doing this from the start, making it seem like they understand Lisa's infidelity, and then call her a "whore" or a "slut". Like do you believe Lisa is wrong or not? Anyways, sorry for the rant, i'll just de-activate my brain and just push all the blood down to my other head lol.

There's really not that much of a distinction between being a whore or being like a whore. Its just a word play. Here's one that proves my point. Notice how almost angry they sound? In short they already believe Lisa is a whore, and then also believe she was right to cheat on John. Like they honestly just don't make any sense. Especially considering both are no different now and are flirting with the boys.

It's something innate in them, a kind of competition to be the alpha female, and they really don't like it when other women enjoy pleasures or circumstances they can't. In this case, both want the same thing, but they hide behind a veil of decency, and as soon as they have the chance, they go for it.

They agree about the cheating but still call her a whore lol at least they are honest but the big problem in Mynks comics is his text in the dialogues holy shit why he use such a awful style.
