I find it all rather unimaginative, it's just going in circles... the son sleeps with his mother, who then sleeps with her friend, then they sleep with the other mother, all right under the nose of the poor cuckolded husband. And it goes on and on, endlessly, with the son of another neighbor. In a few posts, there's enough material to create a real identity and even a real plot... but no, the stories, with one or two exceptions, are all the same ; only the characters change.

I find it all rather unimaginative, it's just going in circles... the son sleeps with his mother, who then sleeps with her friend, then they sleep with the other mother, all right under the nose of the poor cuckolded husband. And it goes on and on, endlessly, with the son of another neighbor. In a few posts, there's enough material to create a real identity and even a real plot... but no, the stories, with one or two exceptions, are all the same ; only the characters change.

I understand the criticism, but I think there is another side that should be considered. The “recipe” may be similar across several stories, but creating a script that actually works is not as easy as it may seem, especially when there is a need to produce a new chapter practically every week.

It’s easy to look at several finished stories and say, “It’s always the same thing,” because we only see the final result. The difficult part is constantly creating new characters, situations, dialogue, conflicts, and events without losing the pace or straying too far from what the audience already expects.

Besides, using a familiar formula isn’t necessarily a problem. Movies, TV shows, comics, and literature do this all the time: they use similar structures but try to make each story different through the characters, their personalities, the circumstances, and the way the story unfolds.

Of course, some stories are more creative than others, and some really do feel like they are simply repeating the same formula. But producing content on a weekly basis while keeping a story reasonably interesting is much harder than it may seem to someone who is only seeing the finished product.

Perhaps the problem isn’t necessarily using the same “recipe,” but rather when the author stops adding new ingredients to it. That’s when it really starts to become repetitive.

Saying that PK publishes weekly content is a bit of a stretch. Yes, technically they do publish 1-3 stories in the span of a week, but we all know that the time between chapters of a specific series is 3-4 MONTHS.

One cannot sit here and tell me with a straight face that the writers cannot come up with better plotlines during such a long period of time. We've discussed this hundreds of times before on this forum and it's clear that there is a good amount of themes/plots that can be explored but yet, the writers either recycle plots or drag them out to the point where the chapters are indistinguishable from one another.

I will give credit to the PK team in that they haven't used the whole "two young men spit roast one of the MILFs" plot in a while. The last time I saw that was in The Grandma 19 and that was YEARS ago. (In fact, I'd like to ask @DupletT for his input because he's an expert on dates and he can tell us the date that chapter was published.)

Brandie has been getting fucked nonstop and we have yet to see her open her veterinary clinic. At this rate, it'd be faster for me to go to vet school and open a clinic myself!
