My idea of Aphrodite: As you know, my "dream blondes" are mostly short haired. Just read "Mythos" by Stephen Fry, and I think the legend was exactly as followed:
And Aphrodite stepped down to earth to spread love and desire and get some inspiration, and when she returned to Mount Olympus, she said: "Look, my new hairstyle! It's called a pixie pompadour.
