the page isnt buggy, and those comics labelled as "free" really are free to browse/download.
you dont need any kind of account to view those, though you might need to check your browser settings, blockers and so on.

As @mikemolto mentioned, the site loads fine and you can download free comics. As someone who has been working in tech support for almost 2 months, I would recommend clearing your cache, trying a different browser or upgrading your Windows 1.0. Sorry for the stupid joke. But from what I see, the site works fine. Maybe it has something to do with CORS, that's something I found on the internet, but it can be the cause of the problem on both your and NandoF's side.

I don't understand why you use a corporate product for a home usage. You are behind a firewall which block 90% of all of porno sites or any sites which are "not safe" for corporate environment.
If you don't use Windows there a lot of products for personal use (Antivirus + Firewall) with flexible settings.

I'm not sure I understood you correctly. Are you saying that Nando's website is spreading "spyware and malware"? If so, what exactly? Could you please point to the code?

Dude, seriously. It takes a bit too long (it looks like the server zips the images each time, rather than using a cache or a pre-compressed archive), but other than that it couldn't be any simpler.
