hard to say - obviously Kim detests living on the streets and will clearly do anything to avoid going back there. Whether it was worth going through what she has done is interesting to discover

Considering the alternative was being killed by thugs, I'd say Kim had no choice.
Kim was out of moves at the very start of this comic.
If not for Rex, Kim maybe dead already.
Sometimes life puts you in a position where you simply have no more choices left.
That's what makes this so real for me.

Good point Erica about being pursued by the gangsters, and it seems that has now been overtaken by events to avoid Rex being embarrassed by Gloria.

I think it's just life bringing two attractive people closer together.
There always seems to be reasons for Romance to blossom, but it's physical at the end of the day.

Daniel Kim is scum, he began by defrauding his college mates by selling fake test results, which got him expelled and disowned by his family.
Kim Daniels is no better, she is constantly scheming to defraud a good man.
I wonder what kind of ending CBlack will give her... I don't think she deserves the kind of "everybody kinda sucks but they get their own happy ends" like in "Tangled Web."
She might end up with something more like "she things she won, but she can't see how she's being used and will soon be discarded" like in "The Story of Chip", or even an outright punishment such as Paul at the end of "Opportunities."
It might be an particularly bitter end if she eventually realizes that she had actually fallen in love with Rex and killed her chance due to her own scheming.

yes you are right about both. Kim clearly doesnt want to go back on the streets and has been prepared to trade his testicles for staying with Rex. If he goes ahead with the breast implant surgery that Gloria will pay for, what will Kim make of that?
