"Boundbury"
I am creating a new series together with author and scenariste Hatherby. the series is called Boundbury. Here are Hatherby's thoughts about how this world was created by him:
------Hatherby's Thoughts on Boundbury:
Boundbury has been developing in my head for a few years. First of all, I should say that any resemblance between the fictional town of Boundbury in Canbridgeshire* and the very real Royal creation of Poundbury in Dorset is purely coincidental. True, both are architecturally ersatz developments. Poundbury evokes a sort of mythical Georgian market town aesthetic while Boundbury goes for a 1930’s English suburban look, with mock-Tudor semi-detached houses in large gardens. That’s the buildings. The fashions of the citizens are more 1950’s orientated mixed with an aesthetic which might be described as English classic 1980’s spanking magazine. Or, more accurately, what 80s English spanking magazines, like Blushes, might have been like if not for censorship.
Unlike Poundbury, however, Boundbury, is under the control of a conspiracy of sadistic older perverts who subject their slave-girls to relentless abuse and frequent, gratuitous, corporal punishment is run by respectable and community minded citizens who generously provide supervision and learning opportunities to “housegirls” under the CCC (Community Correction and Control) program.
These housegirls are referred to as “Fancies” when dressed up and paraded in Boundbury Park by their benefactors. This started out some years back with citizens simply walking housegirls in their uniforms, and has evolved into a sort of competitive cosplay parade with the widespread use of leashes, and the tethering of fancies to hitching posts, munificently provided by the town council.
What about houseboys? You ask. Well, they do exist but they are few and far between and as all the CCC facilities (such as the “school”) are for young women, the obvious solution of sissifying males is generally adopted.
The question arises of why there so few of them? Well, there are rumours of hellacious prison farms where most young men are sent to, to suffer under the tyrannical control of cruel women. But that is another story.
*Like Cambridgeshire the a is long so although written Canbridgeshire it is pronounced Canebridgeshire, with the accent on the “Cane.”
Fancy costumes are very varied but few are so minimal as those that Mr Rowland likes to make his CCC girl, “Honeydew” wear.
Indeed, it is so revealing that it provoked quite a lot of tut-tutting and headshaking, when he first paraded her, undressed this way, in the park.
No one objects to a bare bottom. If a housegirl’s bum is freshly striped by a lively caning, it stands to reason that making her show it in public will be salutary, both for the humiliated young lady herself, and others who will see it, and be encouraged to mind their own manners.
But some citizens think that it is somehow not quite respectable for fancies to display nipples and pussies this way.
Mr Rowland is a town councillor, however, he has a rather forceful personality, and he is not the only one to interpret the fancy dressing rules so liberally.
Nor does the vicar show any sign of objecting.
So this criticism has been more muttering behind his back rather than any actual challenge.
As for Honeydew, herself, I rather suspect that she is way past caring and just prays every night that he tires of her soon and swaps her for some other citizen’s unfortunate housegirl.
