Dylan has been shown wearing her wedding ring in previous images
Actually, only in
one image. In most pictures of Dylan, her left ring finger is hidden / obscured . . . but when we
do have a good look at it, usually it's completely bare, and sometimes (look for her in Pelo's and Buzz's entries) she's wearing a ring with a silver band and three round stones, clear or white in color--probably pearls. Only once, in the Christmas image I included in her entry, is she wearing the traditional wedding ring of a plain gold band.
As for "Forced", the oldest image of Lt. Roth . . . it was published to Kemono in September 2016, and appears to have been drawn at about that time. I've previously described it as "problematic", partly because it's self-contradictory. Roth is wearing an appropriate uniform for the period (the U.S. Navy tried uniforms of blue digi-cam for a few years in the mid-2010s), but the pistol he's holding is obviously a Luger, which were
never issued as service weapons, to any branch of the U.S. Military. Okay, so maybe it's Roth's
personal property--he has a German surname, why wouldn't he want a German gun? Except that American service members, even officers,
weren't allowed to carry their personal firearms on base--they usually had to be kept locked in the arms room. This rule was only lifted very recently (April 2026), long after the Navy had stopped using blue digi-cam. Okay, so maybe this is taking place
off base (in a warehouse or something, judging by the setting)? Maybe Roth and this "Agent Keyoni" woman are only
roleplaying an interrogation scene? Maybe the Luger is actually
her gun? These are all reasonable possibilities, but in my opinion they're pretty fringe cases. Add in the fact that this image is largely just a re-tread of Fangs (specifically, the moment where the mustachioed authority figure in uniform is just about to force the criminal woman in his power to perform oral sex on him, and she's considering *chomping* on it), and I'm strongly inclined to declare the whole image
non-canon. The most likely explanation for this troublesome image is that it was commissioned, probably by the creator of this Haloke Keyoni character, and it makes more sense in
her universe than
his.
It might explain why Pelo seems to have a fondness for that military style cap in that traditional OD Green. Like she wears that thing a lot.
That's a fair theory . . . but it's the wrong hat. The U.S. Navy never used patrol caps in either green "old-school" camouflage or solid olive-drab . . . but the Army, Marines, and National Guard did. So yeah, it's certainly
possible that Pelo wears the hat as a link to her dad, even though it was never actually
his hat. Personally, I'd say it's more probable that her cap represents her bond with
Darcy, who's repeatedly been shown wearing a fatigues jacket that matches the hat (in her "Feet Stuff" mini-comic, and a couple of standalone images where she's in the same outfit).
