Originally a Japanese manga that was then adapted into a Korean film, which is widely revered to this day. Can't see to the merits of the manga, haven't read it, but the movie is extraordinary.

Interesting but I am not sure about this hypothesis. Jane was monitoring Daniel after her and Jake learned of the connection between Annie and Joe Scally. This is what led to learning about Daniel and Annie but when Jane saw them grinding on the dance floor she immediately confronted Annie and tried to prevent it going any further. I think Jane's fail safe was researching Joe Scally's motivation for working with Annie. Once she knew of the connection between Joe, Luca and Joe's ex-girlfriend (now Luca's fiancee), Jane arranged a deal with Joe to sell out Annie in exchange for Jane getting rid of Luca for Joe.
I think the reason Annie fucked Daniel is the same reason she has pleasured so many other cocks throughout the story. This is because the mind specialist Anton Yacko made Annie believe she was a submissive girl and this in combination with John Rogers own masochistic view of woman as servants to the carnal pleasures to men, eventually turned Annie into that very ideal - a submissive, cock whore who does as she is told. Were this to happen, Annie could be in Daniel and Sara's life but the only problem is that Annie would still know her former identity. Thus, Annie might also want the mind specialist to make her forget too.
We also can't forget Jimmy who has feelings for Annie and vice versa. Annie also has a little dicklette that she knows Jimmy accepts. This little fact would be a potentially unwelcome surprise to Daniel, but leaving that aside, I don't get the sense that Annie wants a sexual relationship with her son. This potentially leaves a situation in which Jimmy and Annie are willingly together while Annie has a platonic relationship with Sarah and Daniel maybe as their maid? This might be possible if the mind specialist makes Sara and Daniel forget about everything except that Annie is alone and needs support. This might fulfill the irony in the title of this comic - Man of House - with the former man of the house becoming the house maid to his ex wife and son and the cock crazed ideal of a wife to Jimmy.
Time will tell.
