I somewhere recall during Man of House that AndreaTG said she was planning to embark upon shorter projects and both Dream Girl and Remember Me were suppose to be products of that new vision. I really enjoyed Man of House but I also thought it was about 5-10 chapters too long. Dream Girl never really resonated with me but Remember Me most definitely does. Its already at 13 chapters and there are a lot of moving parts as well as history yet to be explained. I have a feeling that Rose and Sam are somehow connected with Rose using the lure of a relationship to get Julie more deeply embedded in the seedier aspects of working at the club. You see that most prominently in Chapter 13 with Julie emphatically telling a coy looking Rose that she will be the best dancer and steal all the other girls' customers. We still don't know how Sam makes money and I have a hunch he owns the club that Rose manages but that is just conjecture at this time. As high school friends who once saw Jules as their leader, I think the point of including Patrick and Henry in the story has been well served by now with them both having lost all respect for Jules as a man. Lastly, where Sam's old girlfriend Sally who Jules coerced into leaving him fits into the story remains unclear.
