Starting a new thread is relatively easy.
Many of us prefer a title format of
[Author] genre genre genre ... (preferably in alphabetical order by genre)
Sometimes the limited tag choices make it hard to select 3 - chose as best you can, luckily there is one for book - so you really only have to have 2.

The first post should have some content because you will be the maintainer of the thread (not that that has any real duties)
But the original thread poster shouldn't be a requestor with nothing to offer, there is a forum thread for requests.

And I for one REALLY prefer the author's name in the file title - we get so many good books posted here, that one of the first things I find myself doing if it doesn't is modifying the file with it. If the poster does that than no one else (NOT EVERYONE ELSE) has to do it.

And if you don't have author link information - there are a lot of members who will add it for you in a post that you can then put in the original post after the fact
