"Double-Impact-Suicide-Run 2" - my last posting in this thread... except discovering new Armando Huerta Works, which is very unlikely to happen.
Anyone happening to own more - or better quality stuff: post it!
With uploading these pics robbed by an asshole: Thank you Armando for your sexy, well - hardcore pin-upped ladies and REST IN PEACE. Simply Great Art.
Dear Friends,
Today, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to
timbob (Sir Timothy-Robert

) who recently shared the incredible artwork of Armando Huerta. In doing so, theyāve not only celebrated the talent of an extraordinary artist but also contributed to preserving his legacy.
Armando Huerta, born in Mexico City in 1969, was a master of contemporary American pin-up art. His work was more than just visually stunning; it exuded sensuality, confidence, and a touch of mystery. Nicknamed āthe Dark Lord of Pin-Ups,ā Huertaās creations graced the pages of magazines, conventions, and online platforms.
As a child, Huerta molded his favorite cartoon characters in plasticine. When he discovered drawing, he found his true passion. His self-taught mastery of the human figure, combined with an airbrush technique, catapulted him into the world of pin-up art. His inspirations included iconic artists like Hajime Sorayama, Alberto Vargas, and Olivia De Berardinis.
During the late 1990s, Huerta collaborated with Ricky Carraleroās High Impact imprint, contributing to the āDouble Impactā comic book series. His sexy pin-ups Jazz and China became iconic figures, captivating fans with their lethal beauty. Despite payment issues, Huertaās impact on the āBad Girlā comic book art scene was undeniable.
Armando Huertaās journey wasnāt without controversy. Accusations swirled around the authenticity of his work in Carraleroās books, but his talent remained unshaken. He continued to create, leaving an indelible mark on the art world.
And now, with a heavy heart, we acknowledge that the world lost a great artist when Armando Huerta passed away in 2020. His legacy lives on through his captivating pin-ups, each stroke of the brush a testament to his brilliance.
So, to
timbob who shared Huertaās work, thank you. Thank you for celebrating art, for keeping his memory alive, and for reminding us that creativity transcends time and place.
Letās continue to appreciate and share the magic Armando Huerta left behind.
And as he as stated, if you have any new posts please share.
