Better Organization of Erotic Literature section

If anyone has see the Erotic Literature section, than I can bet everyone would like a bit of organization.

Is there a way we can organize it into a better format, because as of now it is either Femdom, Feminization, or Transgender Stuff.

While I do not have any issues with or am against this, I wish we would have a better organization of items, with subsections so that we all can add to different areas. I am for gay stuff, hell love the lesbians and futa girls but, I can we have some organization that would make it easier for people's requests and posts to show up.

So far, this was also an issue on 8M, for a while we had some amazing posts where you could DL vintage stories, or post chain stuff. But, then it got stuck in one area, and I never saw anything new for like months.

Can we please create some subs in Erotic Lit.

First off, amazing, and I really mean it.

I think those categories help keep things better, to help people find stuff they want by topic.

Is there a way to retro actively place the already created post into other sub-categories, this will help with better order. I went to several other sites and found how the best ones organized them.

By putting the stories into sub-categories it will also help the mods monitor specific sections or types that may cause issues down the road, this way suppose if there is a type that is not ok, we can just either ban it or delete that type of stuff.

For people complaining they will not know what is new posted, have a bell or icon showing new stuff in that specific sub-category, this way we know what is the most popular.

hi understand the need for organisation especially in the tags department but please remember some amazing people are posting their whole collections to do that takes time and effort on their part.
For some that didnt download the first time and kept bookmarks its a bit of a godsend for others I think theres an eye on what if this forum goes down the major improvement on that side is the download zip file on the bottom of each post which is something muses didnt have.
New books are going to get posted but for now they might be slotted between collection post.
As people have said their organisation and calibres organisation are worlds apart so things are going to get mixed up for a while but given time things can only get better

We created subcategories because those two seemed to be the most dominant ones. There is no need for more as you can use tags to filter content. Any more and it will get confusing and most people won't bother. As we already see some not even using the BDSM and feminization subcategories and have to be sorted by our moderators.

I think some kind of tagging system would be better. Most stories are bound to have multiple categories within them, so we could end up with people not finding things due to being put in a subforum they don't frequent as that is outside their interest. For example many stories with feminization can have MC, BDSM, Gay, or a lot of other things in them as well. It feels better to have everything tagged and sortable rather than siloed (ie missing stories because the "main" category is one you don't check). Even with just the two current categories people are probably missing things in one of the subforums.

Can we have a subcategory for original work? I mean for writers who post their own unpublished stories and want feedback? I’ve written a lot of stories I regard as drafts and have been thinking I might want to get feedback on some of them before I start editing and rewriting.

I agree with a need to separate current writing from the old classic porn novels. People collecting the old novels as a hobby think the new books are clutter ;-)

I would certainly think so too, it would completely cause chaos in the thread structure. Noticed there was a section created for new stuff. Might post something for feedback after some more editing.

I propose a separate forum for the classics. Dumping large clumps of books is really inefficient and ends up chewing bandwidth and storage space for no good reason. I think we should get more into "trade and share" mode than the current "dump and collect" mode. Sending PMs for the requests and then fulfilling them in separate "Requested Books" thread would hold the clutter down, too. That way, all we have one thread with book posts and no out of control/ignored request thread.

We could keep a catalog thread for sharing catalogs that have title-author-content tags-imprint-book number.

For content tags, I've been adding general categories and players all along. E.g., "Mother, Son, Incest, anal, blackmail" or "teacher, young girls, teens, blackmail." I also just started adding the traditional player combos, as well: M/F, F/dog, m/FF, MMM/g, etc.
