I've seen several threads with just a bunch of archives and no images at all...

Must say I feel a bit disappointed by this, and off putting. Not knowing the comics I'm not about to download a bunch of archives without knowing if I'm gonna like these comics without so much as a few images posted as previews... seems like this is more an archive for folks already knowing those comics than for folks who've never seen one by that artist...

And it's not just this thread... seen others like it...
And yeah, I know, I can go search on the web... but that beats the point, if I do than I can also just download it directly from those places...

There is a large catalog of BlackAdder's older works out there. Being an "long-time" follower of his earlier work, it's easy for someone like me to know what I'm getting just by looking at the titles, being familiar with most of his characters and style. While I agree, an image or 2 would help with your decision to download or not, maybe you should do a search first and research his earlier works. They are all pretty damn good ... even if the artist himself is a bit of a prim a-donna.

... but there's still something wrong : Blackadder's Gisela 19 originals weigh 16 MB.
At 59 MB they're too heavy to be originals.

BA's site says is 25mb, but still a sizable discrepancy. The poster also included the cover or promotional image - some of BA's sets don't include this.. But, still a difference.

I think we've had this discussion at 8 muses.
Upscaling pics does not make them originals and does not reach the quality of originals.

The cover/promo is not OK : the size is too big and the color balance is off (it's too warm).
You can get the original cover/promo from BA' site.

25MB is the size of Renata 01.
Gisela 19 is 16 MB.

Gisela 19 isn't Out with the Original Resolution. That's how I found it. I think we must wait out until someone posts the Original Version of it.
