I don't think CBlack would end the story with a little asshole like Daniel/Kim getting everything she wants. At some point Rex will be made aware of their manipulations, and the excrement will hit the propeller. It might splash a bit on Gloria too, considering the part she played on manipulating the situation.
There's a significant, potentially major character who hasn't done much so far: Serena. In a way, she's a victim of Gloria's manipulations too. Her role may grow in the future.
Pulling stuff out of my ass, based in part on previous CBlack stories, I see some possible endings for the characters:
- Kim ends up having to work (on her back) for the Sikorski Brothers;
- Gloria is caught doing something that hurts her husband's business' reputation, and may end up divorced (although with a significant alimony)
- Rex and Serena leave the law office and strike on their own, opening a husband-and-wife law practice

What am I missing here? Kim openly mentions the brothers. Is there a part of the page that hints at something more? Doesn't seem twisty, just a spoken plot point, unless I'm missing something here

I honestly think the same, I can't see how Kim managed to redeem herself, since she has no romantic feelings for Rex and just takes advantage of him. But I trust Cblack managed to give a satisfactory ending for everyone, since in all his works the feminized character has a happy ending. I don't remember any work by Cblack in which the feminized character ends in a bad ending.

I'm still holding out for the vanilla ending with the character development and all, but also it's just really nice to see one of these stories where the girl is happy lol.
