Good afternoon everyone, I love this author and he has a couple of other works that are surely masterpieces of the genre. Being poor is a disgrace. This author really deserves a patron and support from the audience. He is a kind of van goth, a misunderstood of his time, who sooner or later will have his work recognized by the masses.

He has a great level of subtlety in his way of writing and of presenting situations. He writes for adults, with quality and class. Other authors' stories get out of hand, they lose credibility and enter a level of nonsense that easily takes one out of the story.

I really hope that thanks to posts like this the author reaches more people, so that fame reaches him and he can live off his art, with plenitude and comfort.

It is enough that someone key discovers him, falls in love with his stories and gets in touch with him and encourages him to continue publishing by supporting him financially. This author deserves it, both for the plots he chooses, for the development of his characters and for the ability to capture images in the reader's head, giving him space for possible continuations where everything is possible.

Let's see if someone is encouraged to share... ^_^

For my part I will say that my favorite story is Directors Downfall, followed closely by several characters that he has in other stories.

The quartet of characters, Laura, Tanya, Rebecca and his antagonist is fantastic. I would love to write to him and tell him a lot of things, but it would seem disrespectful... to talk to him about a book that I have not bought and that I have read clandestinely... when my situation improves, I hope to be able to do what the average person does... but oh well, no complaints... ^_^

What is your favorite story or your favorite character, or your favorite situation? I love exploitation at work, that intimate atmosphere, where a secret is known by very few people, where credible situations can be created and it doesn't get out of hand for the author. Where the humiliation of the characters is constant, increasing, visible to a few, etc...

I agree with you. I've been looking for Charles Ryder's content for over a year, maybe two, time goes by very quickly, and I have to say that he is one of the most impossible authors to find.

I even contacted people who thought they could find any book... and they failed with him...

I'm crazy to read the book titled "The Humiliation of Catherine Hunter" and I've never had any luck...

I hope that despite everything, Charles Ryder doesn't lose motivation and keeps publishing... sooner or later he will get recognition. I imagine that if he sets his mind to it, he could create some kind of popular boom like 50 Shades of Grey... and the masses would know about it....

Although I doubt that the masses would enjoy certain things...

I haven't read 50 Shades, nor have I seen the movie, but I think that its million-dollar sales speak for themselves, that what is now considered niche literature, can soon change the trend and become extremely popular... if that happens, I would bet that the great Charles would easily enter a top 10 cult authors and if things get aggressive, a top 25 at least... and of course, we are talking about more than 500,000 authors... being in the top 25 is a blast... let me tell you what I mean ^_^

It would also be interesting to know the opinion of others, so that maybe, if someone has read a similar book, as far as themes are concerned, or situations, etc... it would be interesting if you could recommend, you know what I mean, something like that like...

If you liked Riley Scott's Alien I, I recommend Alien 2, even though it was made by James Cameron, which is still a great movie.

I mean, 2 different authors, writing about similar themes, similar environments, etc...

I would love it if anyone has read any story, book or whatever, that has similarities with Directors Downfall, I would like to be able to read it.
