Synopsis:
Samuel is hired at NewYou Capital as IT Supervisor and tells himself the wellness program is just vitamins and posture. It’s not long though before he starts to notice changes in his body that require adjustments to his wardrobe to accommodate, and the “temporary” support work for his colleague Max quietly takes over the calendar. Sam’s eagerness to be a team player and rationalise the changes his body goes through keeps him saying yes until his badge says Samantha, he's wearing skirts and blouses everyday, and the desk outside Max’s office is a permanent position.

Each chapter includes various pieces of AI illustrations. E.g

I really enjoyed this one — the story flows well, the transformation is interesting, and the whole thing is very engaging. You’ve clearly put a lot of thought into it.


Just one small observation about the illustrations, as I’ve noticed something similar in quite a few stories of this type. The visual transformation is gradual and works really well, but then, suddenly, after the trip to the hairdresser and the makeup, the character’s face and body seem to change quite dramatically as well.


It almost feels like the character goes from a male AI model to a female one in the blink of an eye. I guess it’s just one of those things the reader has to go along with, but keeping a little more visual continuity in the illustrations throughout the transformation could make it even better.


That said, the writing and the script are really good, and the story is genuinely engaging. Keep writing and making more stories like this — you’ve definitely got something here, and I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!

Thanks, yeah you’re right. The AI has no idea how to do androgynous. At some point it just flips a switch from a typical male build to a typical female model and really doesn’t want to do anything in between.
