Hello friends, it's release Day, and this time it has a somewhat strange title, since according to our dear lady, it's a preview of the "Vision" story. Events that will supposedly occur later in the story (something strange, right?) So I leave you ''Vision-Burglar V1'' translated and subtitled into Spanish, I hope you enjoy it.

Sorry ... Vision_Burglar at this point in time, is a one-off. Nini has alluded that story and Vision_Puppeteer will be folded into the Vision saga, but so far, she hasn't said when. I'm assuming that Vision V7 will be released by her on the 20th 0f this month, as long as she keeps to her schedule. So at this point, all we can do is wait for the post, or an announcement.

Hasn't she said puppeteer is not canon to Vision story?

I could be mistaken, but I seem to recall a message concerning the inclusion of Puppeteer, as it refers to whoever or whatever is "pulling the strings" behind the events in Vision, because there IS something going on with Rant's behavior. Is anyone pulling the strings, unknown to Yumiko and the husband? Of course ... I could be wrong ...?

From what I understand, “Puppeteer” and “Burglar” are not part of the main narrative, but rather serve as side stories. If these events did in fact occur within the canon, it is difficult—though still possible—to determine where they would fit within the timeline. Isn’t that so?

Considering there are still 2-3 episode with "no-real sex", but much narrative remaining until the fireworks are revealed, I too am curious how Nini would incorporate these two side stories into the narrative ... but she's done it in the past, so I look forward to see how all these parts might fit together. I have my own theories, but it's best just to wait and see.
PS. Both Burglar & Puppeteer do have VISION included in their titles ... for whatever reason..

I looked through the archives and I am indeed incorrect about Puppeteer being "canon" in reference to the Vision saga. That being said, I find it somewhat ironic that the title seems very appropriate in reference to Vision, as there must be someone or something pulling the strings unbeknownst to either the husband or Yumiko. It transported the husband home, but only allows him to view what it/he wants him to see ... while Yumiko is slowly seduced . Could it be a fellow game-designer from Yumiko's dept., who set his sights on her? Maybe the CEO of the company, with similar motives? Maybe it's the Burglar from the short story? The husband believes it's an AI Intelligence controlling an "NPC" Rant character, seducing Yumiko for whatever reason? Will Yumiko even want to return home when all of her points peel off completely, leaving her butt-bruising punishment behind? We'll just have to wait until Nini pulls back the curtain to reveal the truths behind it all ... at least a couple of episodes from now.

This is all starting to sound vaguely like The Wizard of Oz ...?

I agree with you, O’jisan. It’s hard to know how NINI’s mind works, but if I were writing the story, I’d probably mix red herrings in with real clues, so that the eventual reveal would be neither obvious nor completely detached from what we were expecting. The good thing is that the long-awaited day is finally approaching.
Edit: I tend to bet against whatever the husband thinks. He doesn’t strike me as the sharpest one in the story.

Vision is a fairly complex story ... don't foget that SAT_Undercover looks to be a very involved story also. The husband's POV is tainted ... he is a passive observer who doesn't understand his wife's view of the world, or her sexual preferences whatsoever. Maybe his rationalizations help him deal with what he's viewing, as it has to be tough coming to grips with her response to Rant. He intellectualizes everything surrounding him, with his theories and all ... Yumiko probably has a better idea of what's happening to her than he does, as she was closely involved in it's developement. Maybe the RPG World is her ultimate escape from an unfulfilling marriage? Hard to say, as we're just beginning to scratch the surface, plot-wise.

I still think Rant is the boss of Yumiko, who wants to fuck her for a long time. This gives him the opportunity....so he seduce her gradually...

Bad news is that we won't know for a few more episodes still ... it all depends on Nini's overall game plan.

Well ... something no-one asked for, but my curiosity was peaked. I found a program that transcribed the dialog from the "rape" scene in SAT_Undercover, into Katakana. Then, I tried to run the transcript through 3 different translation programs ... ALL with varying results. Not being a native speaker, I put together a very "loose" set of subtitles that follow the action. Kind of embarrassing to post this, as this isn't a word-for-word translation, by any stretch of the imagination ... however, it does capture the "gist" of the one-sided begging on Airi's part ...
