I could be wrong about this, but if I remember right Emory uses DAZ or a similar program for her art, then runs the image through a neural net image processor to make the 3D models look more real. She also uses face swapping programs sometimes, but I don't know to what extent that is used or if she still does that. So long story short, it's not exactly AI art like somebody would think hearing that, but it's not wrong to say she's using AI art either.

I mean something like maybe she trained some model on her art and used it to create images for this illustrations

The only use of AI tools I've ever seen Emory talk about is what I mentioned before. I don't think she's trained an AI on her own work or uses it for anything more than to enhance the look of art she creates with other programs
