Lvl6 - Nightly Routine Pt.1
Some more degeneracy from yours truly. I do wonder if the range of torments in the Facility is too wide...on Level 1, there's banal humiliation and moderate whipping, and on Level 6 Inmate's have no limbs and exist almost perpetually in absolute pain and despair. Bit of a hard shift, innit.
In BRIG facilities, Level 6 is easily the most excruciating for the Inmates, and there are practically no limits on their treatment - so long as no permanent damage is done. Inmate's at this level have had their limbs removed, and have also been surgically implanted with a series of 'smart stents' along their gastrointestinal canal's 4 internal sphincters (lower esophageal sphincter, pyloric sphincter, ileocecal sphincter, and internal anal sphincter) that can be opened or closed with the press of a button, either sealing her GI tract shut or opening wide and allowing water (and...other stuff) to flow through cleanly. I'm planning to make a diagram of this at some point, but, frankly speaking, internal organs are a goddamn nightmare to animate.
BRIG Level6 Scehdule:
6-6:30am - Wakeup, removed from nightly torment (pictured here).
6:30-7am - Feeding. They eat a green sludge (mostly roughage), with nutrition and vitamin pills added. Failure to eat enough/quickly enough earns Demerits.
7-8am - Exercises, primarily focused on maintaining core strength. Failing to complete a set workout earns Demerits.
8am-8pm - 12 hours of daily torture, determined randomly. Each Inmate is assigned a Warden for the day, who selects a torture by spinning a large wheel. There are over 100 options available for an Inmate's daily torture, and most of the Inmate's are intimately familiar with each one. Demerits are assigned based on their performance.
8-9pm - Dinner and medical checkup. Great care is taken to ensure that Inmates are kept in the best health possible, with dedicated medical staff on standby at all times.
9-9:30pm - Demerit calculation. Aside from earning Demerits every day, there is also a rolling counter that keeps track of an Inmate's cumulative earned Demerits. When the rolling total hits 5000, a Black Mark is assigned. Once an Inmate earns 10 Black Marks, they are sent for a stint in the Punishment Area. But that's a story for another time.
9:30-10pm - Setup for Nightly Torment (shown above).
10pm-6am - Sleep.
