This is how I would do Helluvaboss and Hazbin Hotel.
Plots/concepts:
For both shows, I would do a better job at the world building and to explore and flesh out the different worlds and realms of Heaven, Earth, Hell and etc. And the people that live there and to show how they interact and effect each other.
For Helluvaboss, I would have it follow more closely to its original pilot concept and essentially have it be about a family of imps and hellhounds doing their best to survive Hell while also doing various jobs to make money and improve their current living conditions while trying to achieve much better lives for themselves and do a much better job on everything Vivzie's version did.
For Hazbin Hotel, I would also have it follow its original pilot concept of Charlie trying to redeem people and actually follow through with it. Essentially have Charlie do her best to redeem people and help them redeem themselves while also try to figure out if everyone can be redeemed or not.
Genres:
To make it clear, I would have neither versions of these shows be musicals, not only because I hate musicals, but also because I find the music from the shows to be terrible and clearly they're nothing more than just pointless filler that just wastes time and just gets in the way of the shows. That's not to say that the shows will be completely void of music, they would have their own soundtracks with different music of different genres made to match certain scenes and to reflect the current mood that characters are in.
For Helluvaboss, I would have it be a dark humor and action show with elements of horror thrown in while having be a fusion and blend of large family shows like the Loud House and Full House mixed with dark and rongy humor shows like Martied with Children, Roxanne, and other similar shows.
For Hazbin Hotel, I would have it drama focus while focusing on its original ideas and concepts with emphasis on character development and actual well written and actually funny humor thrown in to relieve some of the tension.
Eventually I would love to have the two shows come together where Blitz and his hellhound family and friends move into Charlie's Hotel and have the characters and groups of the shows interact with each other and eventually help each other with their own goals and ambitions.
Art styles: for art, I would have the shows have an art style that would be a blend of the shows' original art style and Japanese anime.
