Dipper and Mabel Study Service​

Here is the sketch of a random Gravity Falls illustration. Dipper is reading his journal with some study service from Mabel.

Now that I finally get to start a week fresh I didn't want to push myself too much, so I used a thicker pencil tool and decided to just do a sketch for now. I plan to try to line and color this next weekend.

Dipper and Mabel Study Session​

Here are the colors for the Gravity Falls illustration I began last weekend. Dipper does some research while Mabel enjoys her own activities.

I had this fully lined but didn't have time to color before sleeping. I was thinking I should wait until I finish my other weekly stuff before resuming it, but I couldn't help but stop and finish it, especially since it wouldn't take so long with the lining done, so here it is. Now I get back to sketching the next page of Chain Reaction.

Dipper, Mabel and Pacifica Pool Cleanup​

Here is another Gravity Falls illustration I decided to do this weekend. Pacifica puts Mabel on cleanup duty after Dipper keeps making messes in her pool.

I just felt like doing something else with these 3, but didn't have a lot of time to finish this weekend so kept it simple. Not much else to say on that.

Kim Sharing Ron With Shego​

Here is a random Kim Possible illustration that I did over the weekend, but had no valid means to update here until now. Kim shares Ron with Shego, but has concerns about her frequency of use.

So I finally got my creator page functionality unlocked. It appears that my page was meant to be restored way sooner but there was seemingly a technical issue in unlocking it. As of some hours ago that finally seems resolved.

While my page here was down I got a lot of things done. I had to delete over 1,000 posts one-by-one because SStar lacks bulk editing tools. I finally got a comment system made that doesn't require external platforms like Disqus to host them, so hopefully I never lose that again. I've also looked at a bunch of other platforms and delved into their content policies to see how things have changed over the last few years I've used this platform comfortably, and I will say the results were not very promising.

As a result I have been thinking about short comic ideas that I could do if I felt the need to start doing something that could be more financial platform sustainable. By short comic ideas I mean ideas that could be done in a single scene from start to finish.

One of those ideas involves Kim Possible, with these 3 characters, so I decided to try a simple illustration to see how it would work out trying to age them up. There are some other characters from other shows that I want to try to see how they work out, so I may be trying those in coming days. However, I wasn't sure when my page here would be restored so I started this week doing my usual stuff and posting it free off-platform, so I will still be putting attention into that.

There's a variety of reasons I want to try working out the stylization for aged up characters again, but I'm not going to delve too much into it at this time because I could write a whole essay on it after my evaluation of current updated terms across platforms, so I'll save the important bits for when I make my decision.

Ben, Gwen, and Natalie at the Beach​

Ben wants to get it on with Natalie at the beach, but she insists he let Gwen finish enjoying her snack first.

I decided to try drawing Natalie how I felt she’d look in the original series, rather than using the Alien Force or Ultimate Alien style, which I’ve always felt inferior to the original.

Here is another Ben 10 illustration, this time with Sandra in the mix. Gwen helps Sandra experience firsthand how much Ben can produce.

Unlike with Natalie, I know there is a canon model of Sandra in the original series, but her hairstyle is one of the few things I feel Alien Force and Ultimate Alien did better, so I adapted that anyway.
