Sultry Summer 343 Sketch​

Here is the sketch for page 343 of Sultry Summer. Lucy recognizes Gwen's struggle so she makes herself finish early.
This page sure was a struggle. I had a lot to deal with on Monday that accumulated over the few days prior but couldn't be dealt with sooner due to things being unavailable for the holiday, and then I just could not figure out how I wanted to do this page. But, this much is finally done and I'll line it after I finally get some sleep.
This week is supposed to be the week that I do monthly work elsewhere, so I'll probably be doing that, but there's a chance I might do the next page of this depending on how difficult that will be, and how far behind I am already. I'm pretty certain I will be doing that, so this is the only page here for the week, but we'll see when I get there.

I tried a little something with motion lines that I haven't tried in a while. Unsure how I feel on the approach but so far I'm thinking it worked well enough in this, although we'll have to see how I feel on that later too.

Sultry Summer 344 Sketch​

Here is the sketch for page 344 of Sultry Summer. Lucy fills Gwen up in the way promised, but she cuts it a bit shorter due to a lack of space.

Due to a bit of trouble with other things I wasn't quite able to get an illustration done this weekend. My sleep schedule is super late again, so I'll be getting to sleep now and waking up later in the evening, but I'll get started on lining this as soon as I can.

Here is the sketch for page 345 of Sultry Summer. Gwen turns down more sex after struggling through the first round, but Lucy again misinterprets her.

Finally got this sketched. There's actually deceptively still a few pages left for this part of the scene, although I guess technically what comes next can be considered a transitionary part to lead into the final part of the scene.

Now I sleep then I'll line it then try to color both pages for Friday.

Here are the colors for page 344 of Sultry Summer. Lucy fills Gwen up as promised, but has to cut it shorter than last time due to a lack of space.

Here are the colors for page 345 of Sultry Summer. Gwen decides she wants to do something else after her struggle in the first round, but Lucy misinterprets her.
I barely managed to finish on time, but I did it. Barely as in I made it by only 10 minutes or so. Not much else to say besides glad I made it in time.

Here is the sketch for page 346 of Sultry Summer. Lucy tries to leave, but she is still bothered by a situation from before.

I would have been done with this sooner, but the 4th frame was annoying to sketch, and right after I finished it my CSP crashed, losing me all of that progress in particular, so I had to redo it. Luckily these things are at least quicker the second time. Now I just line this then start on the next page.

Luckily this was an easier page since I have other things going on this week since it's the holidays and all. I'll still be doing two pages this week, but I'm not going to be quite as concerned about getting them both done at the usual time Friday if I end up falling behind this week. I still plan to do so, but if things get in the way then I'm not going to push it.

Sultry Summer 349 Sketch​

Here is the sketch for page 349 of Sultry Summer. "Ben" is stumped as to what more can be done to remedy the situation, but receives motivation from passers-by.

First off, I don't want to give any hopes up that Jade will be involved in anything in this comic. This is just a cameo, like how I had Scooby Doo characters at the beach, as well as a far shot of Penny. I consider some characters to be in the same universe, which can pretty much include any animated character that doesn't disrupt the original canon.

I was originally going to do this page differently with a parent/grandparent talking to children, stealing one of a few certain background characters from Ben 10, but I felt the cameo would be more fun for the page. And yes, before anyone says it, I'm aware that Jade is well overdue for her own first-time comic.

I worked on and off yesterday, so I did have enough of this to get something done. It's also partly lined, but that's not done yet, and I'm going to get to coloring the previous page for tomorrow before I get back to that.
