Sultry Summer 357 Sketch​

Here is the sketch for page 357 of Sultry Summer. Despite a series of troubling events the team sticks around until the next morning for the wedding where they instantly meet an excited Lucy who was awaiting their arrival.

I lined two frames already, so lining this once I wake up should be a bit quicker. This page finally transitions into the final part of the scene, which takes place in some downtime before the wedding.

Here is the sketch for page 358 of Sultry Summer. Lucy unknowingly leads Gwen and Ben to the location of her own unveiling.

Now it's finally at the final location for the final part of this scene. Much of the difficult background is already lined, and up next I line the rest of this then color both pages for Friday.

Here are the lines for page 358 of Sultry Summer. I would have been done sooner, but got the rare error that I get in Clip Studio Paint where it crashes while saving, where I lose even past saved data, and had to restart the page after having it half finished. Oh well, I got it done again and now I color.

Sultry Summer 358​

Here are the colors for page 358 of Sultry Summer. Lucy unknowingly leads Gwen and Ben to the location of her own unveiling.

I'm still a bit unsure on the colors for the sauna, but I feel that may be sufficient. It's hard to see what the colors really are since the place is full of steam in the episode, which is not the case here with the place on lockdown. We'll just have to see if I feel the need to change anything, but I feel it works so far.

Here are the lines for page 359 of Sultry Summer. The floor tiles are reserved for the color stage since it's easier to add them in once a foreground layer is colored since I won't have to do a bunch of erasing.

As mentioned in the sketch I have other monthly stuff to take care of, so this is all for here until I color this for Friday.

Here are the colors for page 359 of Sultry Summer. Gwen lets out all of her frustration towards Lucy, and it proves to be more than Lucy can handle.

Sultry Summer 360 Sketch​

Here is the sketch for page 360 of Sultry Summer. Gwen starts to feel bad as Lucy cries uncontrollably, so she offers Lucy a chance to explain herself.

Took some time to figure out how I wanted to do this one, but finally figured it out. I'm still a bit unsure about one point in the dialogue so it might be up for change while I do the lines. Now I line then start on the next page.

Here are the lines for page 360 of Sultry Summer. Some distractions came up today but it's finally done. As usual I left out the floor tiles because they'll be easier to add in the next stage after foreground flats are done. Now I start sketching the next page.

Sultry Summer 361 Sketch​

Here is the sketch for page 361 of Sultry Summer. Lucy explains herself, and Gwen is still angry about what she did, but Gwen feels remorseful and forgives her after a final revelation.

This page was an absolute nightmare to figure out with all the dialogue I both had to flesh out, and fit in the panels. I also had a few options for wrapping up the page, but this one most amused me.

As a result there's a chance I won't have the page finished at the normal time. I'll be doing the colors for page 360 right now, then after that I'll get to finishing the lines and colors for this page.
