He is indeed working on it and has posted concept art (some of which is available on these very forums) about a camping trip involving Julia, Richard and another family....but he's been posting them for years. His long term pre viz "everything mapped out as if it were a real 3D space" obsessive preparation has always worked out for me like a Tool album. Long wait, big pay off.
These drawings do look a whole lot like the sketches that I saw from many, many years ago. Maybe a bit more detailed, I'm drawing from memory here (heh) Also, 8 muses has been dead for years now right?

Actually, I am sort of guilty/casually complicit in helping to distract Jab when he did a poll sometime last year (forgot wether it was on his banned Twitter or maybe here?) where he asks Jab Heads which of the 3 titles (Ay Papi, Santo Playa or My Hot Ass Neighbor) he should prioritize to work on next. I voted for Santo Playa under the logic that Ay Papi was his masterpiece and when he came back to it, it should absolutely be prioritized to the exclusion of anything else and he should do at least 2 full issues wrapping up the current storyline. And since he's becoming more piecemeal/chaotic/random with his schedule and output, he should only return to Julia when he is prepared to finish her story. So I voted Santo Playa because Sharona is his backup masterpiece and should probably be approached with the same reverence. But he went back to Sharona recently anyway, probably because of the torturously sad/ambiguous final panels of MHAN #9 ....8-Muses is dead as far as the original site not uploading new content, but I see other sites pop occasionally which use the logo (don't know if it's the original 8M team) that run the gamut from "sad shadow of" to 70% as good. That site still pulls so much love and conversation because back when it was new it was one of the greatest (in terms of variety, quality and resolution) sites of it's kind ever created. Still the only place I have ever seen some of the material they have showcased, like Elizabeth Bathory by Raulo Caceres (who has deservingly gone on to much bigger mainstream horror illustration and comics gigs) originally physically published by EROS back in the 90s. Greatest B+W erotic gore vampire horror comic ever conceived of and successfully executed and I have never seen it posted elsewhere.
