That's because the sketches have the values (shadows) built in, and flats representing color differences. So if you copy-paste the color, it renders darker than if the sketch was pure white. It's never light or bright enough no matter how much you adjust the color. You'll notice some of the other FFs don't look as bright as the originals either
So I misunderstood thomcat95's note on the girl's braid, which I colored wrong. I thought he meant her ginger hair wasn't bright enough, but actually he was pointing out it was colored brown. JJ can be quite sketchy with these and you have to decide what some lines are supposed to be, and I think I interpreted the braid as part of the guy's arm. So I fixed it and took the chance to make a few tweeks.
