This has to be Kizaru3D’s personal favorite story—and mine too
Fellas, just look at its beautiful 3D art… this is pound-for-pound the best 3D work among all of Kizaru3D’s creations. The art is so good it easily stands alongside the works of Melissa-N and CBlack, and in some moments
Taming the Beast even surpasses them. The realism in the characters’ clothing and hair is simply stunning.
Story: My god, this is a genuinely good and funny story. The characters—especially the supporting cast—make reading it worthwhile.
Luke/Lucy is a tsundere like Erika (from
Kizaru3D Friends), but cranked up to 11. Honestly, Luke/Lucy might be an even better Erika, since they’re not just tsundere but also smug and cheeky bastard. Peter, on the other hand, feels like Peter Parker from
Spider-Man—which automatically makes him the best male protagonist in all of Kizaru3D’s stories. Who doesn’t love Peter Parker? He’s responsible, goes to college, struggles to make ends meet with his part-time job (please let him be a photographer, Kizaru3D

), and overall he’s just a genuinely good guy.
Max, the MMA gym coach, is basically Eddie Brock from the
Spectacular Spider-Man universe—a smart, gentle giant who unintentionally and intentionally plays matchmaker and big brother to Peter.
Max’s girlfriend Emma is wonderful too. She’s the best friend Luke/Lucy never had in their former life. The dildo gift she gives Luke/Lucy was unexpectedly hilarious. Emma’s perspective is important because it gives Luke/Lucy—once a street punk—a window into femininity and womanhood in general.
And then there’s Peter’s little sister Mia. She’s adorable, like every “best younger sister” trope from manga and anime rolled into one. Mia is a living contradiction: she loves her brother, but she loves money too. She can lie, but she also wants to see her brother get laid. Honestly, she’s a more effective supporting character than both Max and Emma combined, since her actions directly push Peter and Luke/Lucy closer together physically (though matters of the heart will take more time).
Kizaru3D has executed the enemies-to-lovers trope brilliantly here.
Taming the Beast is all about Peter and Luke/Lucy trying to best each other—physically, mentally, and insultingly lol. The insults and one-liners they throw at each other are pure comedy gold. First, Peter tried to control Luke/Lucy through wits or fists. Then came the ceasefire at the gym, since Peter didn’t want to create a toxic environment. Then came the sexual attraction (the phase we’re in right now)… and honestly, the entire interaction between Peter and Luke/Lucy is dripping with unadulterated sexual tension

. Both of them try to outsmart each other but end up being outsmarted by Max, Emma, and Mia instead lol.
At this point, it feels like Kizaru3D is evolving into a truly great storyteller right before our eyes. God damn, Kizaru3D—you’ve outdone yourself. Absolutely perfect.
