No worries. I just thought it might have been because I'm new here. How do you select several downloads to work as a group? Say 5 or 6? I only seem to be able to download one at a time - which works OK whilst being tedious (not that it's big deal none the less )

To be fair it may depend on your internet and might not work for everyone but if there are a lot of files but it's over the 1GB limit I click a file then as soon as it starts click next and so on and usually can get around 6 to 10 downloading simultaneously sometimes more as there's nothing says you have to wait for 1 to finish before downloading the next but you can see the last file you clicked shows slightly darker so it helps keep track of how far in you are but most of the time if you try to download a repeat it will let you know

All you do is right click on a forum page and "Download all links with IDM" and you get a window like this...

...where you can select some or all of the files on the page and pull them down with ease.

Use it in conjunction with the APC Forum function "view attachments" and it will grab files from those pages too....

The app is clean, virus free etc (I would never point you to something hostile!!!), and the licensing is super reasonable. You definitely need this in your internet toolbox; it will make your life on this forum (or anywhere else) so much easier, truly...

I use "free download manager" it has all the same functionality on pc and completely free but I agree it makes life easier downloading batch files or large files but I used to use IDM before I found free download manager and I've used it since and it's not ad supported just free to use for life so I recommend it to anyone who like me doesn't like spending money if unnecessary

I don't see any ads, but I guess thats because I got the license a long time ago so the app has never had ads in it, at least for me.

Best 20 bucks I ever spent, but then again I dont think FDM was even around when I got IDM, if it was, then for sure I might have gone that route instead.

Sorry I didn't mean IDM (internet download manager for those who don't know what I mean by IDM) has ads as when I used it years ago I used a cracked version but I know they just do a free trial then pay to keep as far as I know but after a younger relative showed me FDM I thought it being free would mean ads or some other drawback but I was pleasantly surprised to find it has everything IDM or equally good download managers has but just completely free so that's what I meant by no ads I also use a download manager on my phone but that's ADM (modded so free premium features!) but anyway I agree everyone should use a download manager if they download stuff regularly and I use Seal from f-droid to get videos anywhere online like YouTube or anywhere else doesn't allow downloading without paying but there are tons of tools to help with that these days

Firefox has an extension called DOWNTHEMALL. With slight tweaking (adding *.epub* to the filters), I can download all links on page. Check it out.
