And so the story slowly grinds on and on. Marina finally showiing her true colours by saying that she wanted Elena to hate her during their meeting on the balcony. At least the two girls and Elena get on now.

This is ridiculous, she did all this shit to her husband and now she wants him to hate her. It would be much easier for her to be there for him and support him than to want him to hate her.

the big unknown is who actually paid for all the surgeries Andrew underwent. I doubt it was Marina as Andrew had used all their money up in the scam and the honeymoon to Greece was effectively paid by Nikos. Then of course the opposite of love is hate and she certainly hated what had happened to Andrew so much that she wanted to shun him completely

i like that she only got a light but well planned makeover without any surgeries to make her look like a complete different person

If it were a fetish story, Andrew would have already given himself to Nikos long before being transformed into a woman, and we would probably have Marina in bed with James, Joel, but we only have her with the inspector and everything indicates that it was not the first time, Marina was probably already with the inspector long before Andrew was transformed into a woman, that is, if it were a fetish we would have many sex scenes, and orgies with several characters. But here we have a story where the wife betrays her husband's trust and everything indicates that she is to blame for everything her husband went through by abandoning him when he needed her most. Now let's get to the story, if we take all of Marina's thoughts and the way she was treating Andrew from the beginning, this is in the beginning before Andrew was transformed into a woman and even after the transformation, Marina always gives clues that Andrew was always the guilty one, even when she is not in his presence, now we know that Marina talked to Andrew and promised him that she would talk to his cousins, in this case she knew what she was getting into, even though she did not know who was paying for everything, she was aware of the procedures and even so she agreed to take Andrew to the clinic and even advised him agreeing with what the doctor would recommend, so this last part where she pleads guilty does not match her story, and now Melissa is trying to exonerate her.

Absolutely right, It makes no sense, Marina is guilt Andrew's transformation into a woman of middle age, and now she wants to be hated by him, in order Andrew embrace his new life? So he is manipulated not once but twice by her.

I know Andrew did something bad , but it doesn't mean she is innocent,
She slept with other man , while she make his husband into a milf .
I was hoping, she should face the karma !
But z I think it is not the case
I like equal action, if you did bad you will get 10 fold back , karma ....
Otherwise its feel unjustified

There is a lot we still don't know including the nature of Marina and Andrew's relationship. I vaguely recall that Andrew was wanted by criminal elements. At the same time, Nikos needed a wife in his dealings with Mr. Toska. Perhaps Marina was on the encouraging end of Andrew becoming Elena for these reasons but plans went wildly sideways for other reasons, including those elements in the story that are seeking revenge against the Sarmaras and Toska families. The fact that Marina is trying to mitigate damage for Andrew now means she is not necessarily a bad person. Perhaps she cares for Andrew, just not as his wife because that ship has long sailed with actions like blowing their savings, sleeping with Nikos, etc. Its not even beyond the realm of possibility that Marina is an undercover agent working in concert with the Inspector to crack some kind of criminal conspiracy. Why else would she be having clandestine meetings with the Inspector and disguising herself. Once the story is over, I am leaning toward a cover to cover re-read to see how things fit together. Right now, the passage of time and gaps between updates makes it hard to keep the story straight. One thing that is clear is that MelissaN likes characters with big breasts, Andrew, Joel and now Marina being examples...haha

i'm reading the story written so far, before i make any comments about the last part of Aphrodite's Mirror and i noted to have missed something important
We already know who the Woman with the face covered in bandages is
We know her as Joana Mylonas (in the bathroom where she drugged Andrew) & as Theodora Makris (When Elena went to meet her new friend Dimitra)
But what i missed was that Joel revealed to Elena that she is the Wife of the Albanian mobster Gjoka
I still wish that in the end is revealed that she was the real Mrs Samaras

There are so many lies in this story that Gjoka is probably not even a mobster, but rather a henchman of Seferi and the mysterious person who wants revenge against Nikos, and Joana Mylonas/Theodora Makris is not even his wife, and Marina forced herself to tell the truth to the inspector, of course hiding some facts, probably lying about feeling guilty for letting them turn her now ex-husband into a woman, and saying that she was mistreating him so that he would hate her and forget her, so that he would trust her to support her, for me Marina is and always will be a bitch until proven otherwise, which will be very difficult, and Seferi shooting his own nephew and letting them turn him into a woman, it's very strange, he talks about his son in the story, it's probably James or he's Dimitra's husband, we have Sofia and Eva who started Andrew's transformation and were there for Joel's transformation, they probably know Seferi because they gave Andrew a cell phone and Seferi already had the number, and it's It is likely that they know the mysterious person who wants revenge on Nikos.
