[Melissa N.] Collection

What bothers me about Melissa's work (especially compared to her older work) is that each update (or even two in a row) is a static shot of the same scene, simply from different angles and with minimal changes to the face and hand positions. And of course, the narrative is stretched out, when instead of fitting all the dialogue into one frame, it's scattered across four frames, each with a single line. Not to mention that a character can remain in the same stage of feminization and wearing the same outfit for two or four updates.

I think it's intentional in order to maximize profit earnings. If you drag a story on long enough you will make more money in the end. Also people that are invested in her other stories like the Aphrodite story, want to see it through even if they find it dragging on and on and keep renewing their subscription monthly to see what happens as they've already spent so much money and time reading it. It's the same with gatcha mobile games. A lot of people feel they need to keep spending money on mobile gatcha games because they already spent so much that quitting them now feels like they wasted all this time. The whole marketing concept behind this is that it is designed to capitalize on revenue and they do not care about consumers feelings.

Nothing will change until people stop subbing unfortunately. Melissa’s clearly trying to see just how far subscriber patience can be pushed, and the limit hasn’t been reached yet.

I’ve never been happier to cancel a subscription…. What a waste of money subbing to her is…. The cup of coffee is better than what ever these posts have been

This is roughly what this update should look like, without stretching each phrase into 1-2 separate frames. So, here's the full extent of the work done.
P.S. During the editing process, I noticed that on the 8th frame, the entire environment suddenly changes completely.

She does this a lot in K-pop but a bestie in the making holds the record for repurposing the same scene from different angles. The return to the office chapter was insanely lazy.

The stories are so bland that I'm not excited on new chapter releases. The stories has so few TG scenes and sex scenes that I forgot that Melissa is a TG author. I just want to see the ending of AM and I'll be finished on following other works of Melissa.

It got so bad I cancelled my sub and just wait for it here. I've subbed for almost 2 years in a row... Nearly $120 and only got 1 single full comic in that span .. that's crazy if you think about it. I just had enough.

Damn, dude, you've given me a lot to think about. I'm still subscribed to Melissa because she's the one who introduced me to this genre of stories. But you're absolutely right, maybe it's time to give my wallet a break..

This is why I like the old model of purchasing finished comics. I used to purchase a lot from TGComics and really respected what femur offered, but now with all the subscription models, I gave up on that. I don't mind paying, but it take FOREVER for stuff to get finished and while I respect the time and effort it takes to come up with stories, write them and then create the art (renders can take a long time and AI is iffy at best for consistency), you always have to deal with:
1) my computer broke stoppages
2) I'm sick stoppages
3) I'm mentally burned out or not well stoppages
4) other life emergency stoppages

I'm not saying they aren't real (I think one creator is based in the Ukraine for goodness sake), but it's troublesome when you are paying a monthly fee and aren't getting returns.

Hanna123 & LiTkit are the only 2 writers that I support. They put out good stories and don't take advantage of subscribers. LiTkit is the Ukrainian writer who puts out more work than Melissa! XD

I'm subbed to CassieRiseWatson and CDBlack but might drop CDBlack one of these months because money is tight lately.
I dropped Melissa just after she started Mirror, dropped LilTGKit and Emory a few months back. Was subbed to a bunch of other ones but slowly culled off. The biggest reason I've dropped people was the various tiers they had, "Oh this tier gets everything first, this tier gets it seven days later, except for this story which you'll get nineteen days later and the tier below that gets it eight days before you get it free, unless there is a full moon, also I'm running six stories simultaneously and the one you actually like is going to be delayed for months while I prattle on with the most boring one." I don't know why but I just detest that kind of subscription model, the "Every tier gets everything, you're just appreciated more if you pay extra on a higher tier" I don't mind, just the silos of content locked off all over the place.
CDBlack is one price, all access, one story at a time and that has kept me loyal a long while.

Whether you like the content, CBlack seems pretty consistent. Focuses on one thing and works through it.

I think unlike the others, Cblack has already completed the comics they post. They just cut them up in sections and post them weekly. Wouldn't surprise me if they're working on or already completed their next comic after this.

Litkit and chloriohile are the only artist I can say without a doubt I've never felt money wasted on I've subbed to them for a very long time and if I had to sum them up it's consistency you know what you're going to get and they deliver. They also know how to pace a story, when to give you plot and when to spice things up.

Melissa can be lazy because her platform allows her to be... She makes an obnoxious amount of money every month. Still works a normal job and just posts bare minimum effort filler episodes because her groupies allow her to continue to get rich off nothing posts with 0 push back.
