Use a newer version of VLC, it should open it correctly. Mind you, unless your video card supports it, these are CPU intensive so it may be slow to decode. In the coming years more chips will support AV1 natively.

Did you use 7z and extract the files first? I would think so. If your video player doesn't support AV1 then i'm sorry. You could use FFMPEG, or rather ffplay. It won't decode to jump frames that aren't whole frames, but otherwise it may work fine.

What can used for mister agf and videos using MP4

MP4 is merely a container, it's the codec that's being used. Typically MP4 has x264 and HEVC h.265, which is what has been distributed in the last 10 years.

The AV1 encoded i put up is a newer codec in the last few years, which everything is probably going to move to anyways (due to patents and royalty reasons, plus it's pretty darn good if you give it high enough encoding crf value).

Also to note, my archive is about 1,200Mb, vs the 13.5Gb it started as.

Anyways, use ffmpeg, or a newer version of VLC and you'll be fine. If you're on mobile... Probably refer to the original files.

Redownloaded all from the site to make sure, and i don't see a problem.

Keep in mind you need ALL the files, and ONLY extract the .001 file (all the others are loaded automatically). I've tried and you can also concatenate the files to a single 7z file.

Yeah i didn't count the basic window as a screen interface. Usually i right-click on files and tell them to run, or drag them to the player. But that isn't important.

My VLC plays it, v3.0.16 Vetinari, Dated June '21. If that doesn't do it for you, i don't know what else could be wrong. But ffmpeg/ffplay will play the video too, it just doesn't seek to non-keyframes.
