Extremely short? It's 11,000 words. Which is twice as long as many of the stories you'll find on Amazon and Smashwords. And it's free on Smashwords anyway, so ...That Fantasy Island "book" is hot as far as it goes, but its extremely short, like a lot of the books on Smashwords. That's the whole thing right? It ends right in the middle of the fisting scene, there's so little setup its hard to understand what is going on, maybe I'd understand if I'd read any of the Yachties stuff.
Any of her real books have fisting in them? I really only have the First Time Blacked series.
Incidentally, every story I publish on Amazon these days, I include the wordcount in the description. On Smashwords, they display it automatically.
Fantasy Island was originally one long story, but Amazon blocked it and I decided to break it down into shorts for Smashwords. It should all make sense if you read them in order: 1. Katie, 2. Rosie, 3. Margot. I haven't got round to publishing the other two volumes 4. Rachel and 5. Alice because no one seemed to be interested in the Yachties stuff anyway.
One thing you might not realize is that the business practices of Amazon and Draft2Digital who own Smashwords are responsible for the prices you see. On Amazon, $2.99 is the lowest price at which you get paid 70% of the price (less 'costs'). Otherwise, it's 30%. And at the start of the year (I think), Smashwords changed the way they calculate payments to authors which made $2.99 the lowest price it was worth selling for. Previously on Smashwords, you got 70% whatever the sales price, but now you get 40% until you reach $.2.99.
Fisting? Try Office Hours, which is the third in the 'Prof' series of stories. https://a.co/d/0irGt5Ig
Or Bidding War, the sixth in the Doing Deals series. https://a.co/d/01iR049A
